That's another good point, Clash. Too bad, we could not have had a 1998 WWF/WCW situation with Disney/Don Bluth Productions. As said, though, Bluth Productions WAS like WCW in that situation: -A smaller, lesser known company going against a bigger company considered the only company in the race. -They managed to make a name for themselves for a good period of time against the name brand by giving higher quality product: On a technical scale, it was far more impressive than the lesser style of the name brand. The storylines were far more mature than the name brand's...and so the name brand fell off a cliff as the lesser name became big. -Eventually, however, the name brand caught on and changed their ways: THEY would have better product technically, THEY would do more mature storylines, THEY would do everything the smaller brand was doing- and once the name brand started doing that, the smaller company would inevitably fall back to earth.

Those box office bombs were a very fond part of my childhood. Seeing the op is a mega list of cartoons I watched all the way to titan AE.
