Same old Bengals. Whether it's Andy Dalton or A.J. McCarron under center, this is still probably a one-and-done playoff team.

That was an extra week for Andy Dalton to get ready, and home field until the AFC Championship they just gave away. Nothing significant there or anything. Naaaaaah.

Same old Bengals. Whether it's Andy Dalton or A.J. McCarron under center, this is still probably a one-and-done playoff team. If they lose to the Jets in the Wildcard that would be very depressing for thier fan base. Marvin Lewis is a great coach who has had some terrible luck.

Can we just go ahead and get the Jets choke out of the way next week so the Steelers can come to Cincinnati in the Wildcard round and win by 21? Nothing has ever felt more inevitable.

Also, a special 'screw you' to the Bengals for losing that game and forcing the Patriots to give a s**t in week 17. A Cincinnati win and the Patriots probably take the week to heal and recover knowing that the worst-case scenario would be an AFC Championship Game in Cincinnati. And I say 'worst-case scenario' very loosely there. Now they have to win to ensure that the road to Super Bowl 50 goes through Foxboro instead of Denver. I think you need to at least have one playoff win on your resume before we start throwing around words like 'great'.

Me: Yes! We just got a miracle call in our favor after the Broncos kicker miraculously missed a field goal. This is our time, bay-bay! *AJ fumbles, Broncos recover* Me: *sigh* I f***ing hate being a Bengals fan sometimes.

Well, 1 out of 10 games that the Colts needed to go their way has gone their way. Thanks AJ McCarron!
On a lower note, I barely lost the championship game because I second-guessed and changed my lineup. My starters got 71.2 pts and I left 65 pts on the damned bench, 3 of whom I originally was going to start and 61.5 of those bench points (I lost by 11.44 pts, so that sucks).

So much for someone other than Denver/New England getting a first round bye.
God forbid one of them have to play a Wild Card game.
Barring a SD shocker, it'll be 4 straight years of NE/DEN being 1-2 (as many as DAL/SF did in their 90s heyday.

Same old Bengals. Whether it's Andy Dalton or A.J. McCarron under center, this is still probably a one-and-done playoff team. Only if it's PIT. Otherwise, you'd be relying on Ryan Fitzpatrick. RYAN FITZPATRICK!
