That song was....perfect. *ducks tomatoes*
Also loved all the callbacks they did.

I have no clue what that song was they were parodying off of at the end so when it started I was like, "Huh? That's not exactly threatening..." and then Cell starting spelling and I immediately knew where it was going. That was great. This was one episode I've been waiting a long while for. I'm not a huge fan of Krillin, though I love this version of him immensely, but I do like 18 and that episode was the pivotal moment where she started falling in love with him past attraction. I'm glad they played that scene mostly straight, though it was funny when they had her want to jump into his pants as badly as he wants to jump into hers. Can't wait until the next episode because a certain someone should be making their grand abridged debut (and you just know said person is going to be absolutely hilarious).

It's reminescent of when Cell first appeared and he was singing Mr. Sandman. I like how they kept this thread through with the character, where as Frieza was brutal and terrifying, Cell is just a psychopath.

I hated the singing, the rest was decent. Far far from their best though.

Pretty good episode, but I'm looking forward to the next one a lot more. Vegeta getting the shit kicked out of him due to his own arrogance always makes for a fun episode.

Also loved all the callbacks they did. The only one I didn't like was "blow yourself up or leave". Felt a bit forced, it worked better in the original context and it seems a bit too soon to call back to that. Other than that, excellent episode. 16 always seems to have the most hilarious one-liners. Trunks finally getting back at Vegeta, at least to an extent, was immensely satisfying too. Also, is that correct when 18 claims they haven't killed anyone? I could have sworn they killed at least a couple people.

The closest any of them got was when 18 was being chased around by Vegeta, and he was the one causing all the car wrecks. I do love when they bring that up, because that always bugged me that we had to just assume the main timeline's Androids were going to be evil because Trunks' future says so, despite Trunks himself explaining earlier in the Androids Saga that the timelines don't affect each other. I still love Trunks but you'd really think it would hit him at some point that because Gero attacked them directly and had a different robot with him, that maybe there was a chance their personalities would be different too.

They were never shown killing him, merely backing up the van after he shouted at them. I did enjoy this episode, really looking forward to what comes next. 18 and Krillin's interaction was rather nice as well.

I'm not gonna lie, I've been catching myself singing Cell's song for the last couple of days. I'm so happy to finally see, and hear, Perfect Cell. Speaking of, anyone else catch Cell humming his Faulconer theme while he was stalking 18?

Cell's Song is a reference to this video by Remix, the voice actor for Kami & Android 16.

This reminds me: this is the one arc/saga in which neither Yamcha nor Krillin die. I mean, they die in Future Trunks continuity, but in the main timeline they don't. Return of "Woohoo! Not me!" from Krillin?

And gets rewarded nicely for it by getting a hot wife who stays hot through the decades without wishes, magic water, or extra surgery above what she already had.
