We talking guys who shoot or are purposely stiff, or we talking guys who are just careless and bad workers? Careless workers, most likely. I'd also chime in on Ahmed Johnson, considering how he would nail people in the neck with that Pearl River Plunge of his and not have any sense of understanding how to do power moves right, which is funny considering that he was presented as a guy known for high impact moves.

I remember Bret Hart once saying that he would never work with Steve Mongo McMichael because he was careless in the ring. I wonder how much training Mongo actually received before they put him out there, he went from bad commentator to bad wrestler and the commentators had to gush over how much he improved, doing basic things. And, not only wasn't he just pushed, he was a member of the Four Horsemen and US Champ, too. Just watch that match at Road Wild in 1998 with Brian Adams, and see for yourself just how bad he was.

It's kind of insane that they let a guy that green use a freakin' piledriver as his finisher, I know the Tombstone variant is safer, but good lord it's a miracle no-one got their neck screwed up.

Warrior was notorious for being an unsafe worker during his career. Reckless, largely thanks to the mindset his gimmick gave him, there were a few wrestlers who had to tell him to knock it off or they were going to start breaking body parts. I believe both Rude and Andre had to threaten him to get him to stop pulling that, and once they did, he suddenly started working crisper and lighter with them.

Vader worked a stiff style as his first monster push was in Japan. I've heard he felt terrible when he legitimately hurt people. If I recall, Steamboat once commented that he thought Vader didn't realize his own strength sometimes. When Vader injured WCW enhancement wrestler Joe Thurman, he was broken-up about it. If you watch it back, Vader shows a lot of concern for him. Supposedly Vader broke down and cried afterward because he was so upset about it. So in this way, Vader was never malicious and wanted to protect his opponents. At least you can give him that. Man, it's just like what Cornette said. Vader is just a big ol teddy bear.

Brian Cage. He was pretty good back in like, 2012 when he was a ripped dude but was still pretty lean and capable of working. Now since he got on steroids his work has gotten sloppier and sloppier and not to mention he looks grotesque. I genuinely thought he'd broken Aerostar's neck at BOLA with that Steiner Screwdriver. There was a time when Brian Cage wasn't on roids?

The guys on the New Generation Review Podcast put it in a way that I love, which is that Ahmed seems like a guy who was trained to sprint before he could crawl. He knew how to do a bunch of scary high impact stuff that looked impressive, but wasn't taught at all how to do fundamentals at all.

I remember Bret Hart once saying that he would never work with Steve Mongo McMichael because he was careless in the ring. Sort of like how Lance Storm took one Balls Mahoney chair shot, and then went to Heyman and told him he would never again do that.

Sort of like the old story with Andre supposedly just holding out his fist and letting Warrior run into it, after Warrior wore his patience thin, and knocking Warrior on his ass.

Am I the only one that doesn't see the Cage and Evans(?) spot from BOLA as particularly unsafe?

Looking at where the both of them are now in life, I don't blame Lance Storm one bit.

No padding, no one to break his fall, chucking him more than the height of the ring out onto the floor. I dont know. He throws him from a completely flat, stable position to an area where there is no threat of landing on anything accidentally. He isn't taking a bump at all. It looks like someone jumping out of a tree. I'm probably just wrong though.

Vader often didn't understand that wrestling is supposed to be fake. "Shawn hated that I was too physical. If I did not hurt guys I was not going to get over" That is an actual quote from the buffoon
