In 2025, someone will ask the question of if 2015 was better than 2025. And majority of those responding will say 2015 while tearing down the booking and stars of current WWE. Longing for the days of Vince still running the company and Roman Reigns was on top. Hindsight makes the past easier to swallow. Because during 2005, the Net were not fans of WWE in general. It's deja vu with the same complaints and dissatisfacation. Whoa...whoa...whoa. In 2025, Vince will still be around. There is no doubt about it. 2035 is another story. Vince will still be alive but removed from power after showing up for Wrestlemania 35 completely nude and performing puppetry with his penis.

There have been much higher highs in 2015. 2005 was a tough year to live through.

I could actually make it through Raw in 2005 so I'll go with that year.

lol, 2015.
Not even remotely a contest. Nothing to do with nostalgia. 2015 has been abysmal.

Roman will be the Cena with the hot, new youngster that management fully support nipping at his heels.

I don't even remember 2005 being all that bad of a time. Wrestlemania 21 was one of my favorite Wrestlemanias of all time, so well rounded and fun, Batista's rise to the title was one of the best angles of all time, it was a good coronation of Cena and Batista, they had a good midcard, nothing was perfect but they had a good blend of serious feuds, old school wrestling (with guys like Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker and JBL around) exciting new blood with adequate support behind them, it wasn't blowaway stuff but I was definitely content with them at the time.

2005 is the year I got back into wrestling after taking most of 03-04 off. So I'll go with that

2005 for sure, it wasn't a great year but Batista vs HHH was one the best feud since the Attitude Era.

2015 for NXT and the New Guard beginning to take over-- Hogan is gone, Cena's mantle had been passed to The New Day for awhile to run shows, and successfully I might add-- things are finally progressing past the fallen greatness 2005 started to emblemize towards the end.
Cena was the babyface of the company in 2005-- right now at the very moment that position is up for grabs and it's kinda exciting to me as a fan after a decade.

What's funny is, 2005 is the first time I took a hiatus from wrestling since I first started watching in 1990. And even though I was absent the majority of that year, just looking back at the footage, I can tell it was by far a better year than what has been a mostly depressing 2015.

10 years ago I would be glad to pay for a WWE PPV (and did), these days forget about it, if I didn't have the WWE network, I wouldn't bother.

Hard to say, I LOVED Smackdown 2005 and Raw 2005 was dire...
Whereas I'm firmly in the middle when it comes to WWE 2015
