It's always really baffling when writers admit they have no idea of a stopping point. That seems more acceptable in the case of a sitcom, though, than the shitshow that was a lot of Lost's plot, which is just shockingly slapdash considering it was supposed to be a mystery fans would want solved.

It gets a TON of hate here, but I like the show. Hope they do end after season 10 with a fitting ending

It ended once they ruined Sheldon in season 4, so I'm not bothered.

And things really carried over to Once Upon A Time. Things were fine at first, but once they began A) Having half-season plots B) Cramming in Disney characters C) and turning into deus ex machina city, things really went down the crapper. I still watch the show, but it's confusing and convoluted as all hell. As far as Big Bang Theory, it's one of those shows I can watch randomly when I'm bored. I understand not all shows appeal to everyone, but I never understood why this one gets so much hate, moreso than most other shows. All I know is some people are offended that it bases its characters on stereotypical nerds, and even that seems overblown.

It ended once they ruined Sheldon in season 4, so I'm not bothered. I think they made Sheldon better to be honest. As good as the character was in the first three seasons he never seemed to show any sort of character progression, and if they had stuck with the irritating man-child figure people would have tired of him quickly. Introducing a new dynamic to him in Amy was a great decision, it allowed for the character grow and change, especially seeing him become more comfortable with the concept of a relationship and allowing the audience to root for him when he took each committal step. I think season 10 is the perfect finishing point for the show TBH before it gets stale. Unfortunately all of the moments that could have made great finale moments (Sheldon and Amy consummating their relationship, Leonard and Penny's wedding) have already been done. The only other possibility is the introduction of Mr Wolowitz.

Judging how Chuck Lorre ends his TV series', Bang Theory will end with Sheldon flying a spaceship into the sun causing a supernova that burns Chuck Lorre alive after he says "Winning..."

Lost had an endpoint in mid S3 and kicked it right back up after a very short rut. The last season is a bit of a mess, but that's more the fault that their endgame was a problem. At least they didn't spin their wheels for an eternity like X-Files or like Supernatural is doing now. For Big Bang Theory...I don't like the show at all, but I know it has fans so hopefully those fans are okay with the 10 seasons they got out of it.

It was better when it was fresh of course, and when the thing was more "Guess who is meant to be which character?" than "Hey, look! It's that character!" That was bound to end, but still. But...there's still hot/cute women on the show, so? ??

I hope the final episode ends with everybody admitting that Bernadette is hotter then Penny. Yep. i even find Amy more attractive than Penny. Yes, Penny is more attractive physically, but the fact that she seems to be a condescending bitch over other peoples' interests is a real turn off.
