What does everyone think of this web show? They bury quite a few things, namely WCW things, and they were particularly rough on Marc Mero. If this show ever came back, who would replace Josh Matthews as the salty guy? Road Dogg and Joey Styles?
Did anybody even really like this show?

This show was amazeballs. As for everything in WCW they took shots at, they were taking shots at every company, and the stuff they were taking shots at deserved it. They weren't taking shots at the buildup to Sting vs Hogan at Starrcade.

If Are You Serious came back, I'd give hosting duties to the active wrestlers. Give them a vehicle to work on talking and personality.

It would probably be hosted by Naomi and Mojo Rawley. Because we can't have nice things.

Quick witted, good talker and lifelong wrestling fan.

The best thing Josh Mathews ever did that didn't involve him taking a beating.

One of the top 3 things on WWE's Youtube with the Cole and JBL Show and the Cole interviews.

I saw one episode and it included a segment called "WCW ruins everything". Granted they showed some major wrestlecrap moments but it just seemed petty and silly as so much of WWE's presentation of WCW does.

Ric Flair and the Monday Night Wars are the only things from WCW that get "romanticized" to any degree while everything else is "bad". And WWE puts a good deal of focus on the "bad" stuff.

A half-hour version of this show is one of my top requests for content on the WWE Network. That, and a Coliseum Video section.
I remember some posters spazzing out over the episode that featured Mark, Who is Smart. Personally I thought it was hilarious.

I think people overstate its "burial" of WCW given how willing the show was to laugh at WWE's stuff just as much. The show format was designed to laugh at shit and WCW put on a lot of goofy shit, but especially lately, where they have put out plenty of Network content talking up non-WWE stuff and acknowldging that there is wrestling that is worthwhile and good and not McMahon-made, it's not a sentiment that really rings very true.

The whole of New Day presenting Are You Serious would be great.

Quick witted, good talker and lifelong wrestling fan. He would be a pretty good choice, but I was thinking more of guys who don't really get much of a chance to do promo and character work, and Xavier gets plenty of that now that New Day are pretty much all over the show nowadays and with UpUpDownDown, so he doesn't really need it. I was thinking more of giving the hosting duties to guys who don't really get the kind of time that New Day does. Give some other guys a chance to be a "character"/"personality" and "find their voice" to give fans a reason to like/care about them.
