Interesting that none of us mentioned the Road Warriors.
Yeah, I know they eventually went to the WWF, but I am talking Animal and Hawk during the Hogan era.

And that 1990-92 run in retrospect seemed as underwhelming compared to their true heyday as Flair's first WWF run was to his.

Midnight Express. He would hate to admit this, but Corny actually would have fared better in the 1980's WWF then the 1990's WWF. I don't know what would have been more amazing: Heenan and Jim cutting promos together or against one another.

I honestly dont understand why the Lane version of the MX gets more love around here....Watching both teams, the Condrey version was so much better...and I like both version...but not even close.

I honestly dont understand why the Land version of the MX gets more love around here....Watching both teams, the Condrey version was so much better...and I like both version...but not even close. I got into them after Stan joined and I have watched a few Condrey matches. I think if he could choose, Vince would have taken the Lane version. Dennis to me just looks out of place. God, he could have been A Moondog.

Either version of the Midnight Express in my opinion, simply for Cornette.
Man, kind of makes me wish I had seen Cornette paired up with the Twin Towers in the late 80s. Put the belts on them, work Tag Team programs on TV AND main event programs against Savage and Hogan on PPV, with Corny cutting heat-seeking promos on the Hulkster? Get in!

Follow up question. If the Russian Team was Nikita and Krusher Krushev was becomes of Demolition?
