Vince will likely not get in the ring again in a competitive standpoint like he did during the Attitude Era. This "match" would have the potential to be even a higher level of drizzling shits than the Bret beatdown.
I could see some dynamic similar to this, but with Vince as the 3rd man on the outside and some heel representing him so to speak as Roman's opponent. That said, I want NONE of it. The rehashing is beyond predictable and it'd be nice to see them give us a new dynamic and a quality heel opponent for Roman that he can build a solid feud with and not continual rehashes and the same opponent rotation we've seen over the last 1-2 years.
With Rollins out its tough to build that feud with whats on the roster since hes a natural feud partner for Roman, but its a situation where I could see someone like Ambrose turn (I wouldnt advocate for this) or even better you bring Joe up to the main roster as a massive heel and see what he can do with Reigns. I'd put Owens on the 2nd tier of this, but I think Owens is a tad pigeonholed with his character at the moment and if this scenario played out a "new" face to the heel side of the roster would have greater impact (no pun intended).
One thing missing from this era that is sorely missing are those big money feuds that Attitude gave us. Rock/Austin the gold standard, but you had other main event level feuds that at times were just as invigorating (HHH/Foley to name one of those). It'd be nice to see them try and foment situations where these type of feuds are possible. We've been around in circles with a lot of this roster as it stands that it needs a bit of a shakeup.
