So Gallows is hired again by WWE. Do you remember his run and multiple gimmicks in WWE and what's your take on his whole career there ?

Festus was a fantastic gimmick, and he played it perfectly. Dude's an underrated worker.

I hope that they keep him as Luke Gallows and that he left to work in Japan and came back as the baddest of asses.

He's super talented, puts his all into everything and backs it up.
Really puzzled why the board soured on him.

He was talented; would've been nice to see what he woulda developed into in the 'E.
Edit: hadn't realized he'd been re-hired. Change the past tenses stuff into present and future tenses as it applies.

Really puzzled why the board soured on him. I think his SES run kinda did him in. He went from an entertaining (if limited) character who got to wreck shit, to just being Punk's one-dimensional silent muscle.

I was a huge gallows fan and I can proudly say I loved the guy when everyone else hated him. Way before the "he was great in Japan"....
He was an incredibly dedicated performer, no wasted motion at all and he made everything given to him Work.
His homemade punk ring gear was great as a diy punk myself i saw his hard work for that gimmick.

He was awesome as Festus. That gimmick could have been absolutely terrible, and he made it work. He and Jesse were really over and deserved better than they got. He was also great in his role in the SES. He really committed to it and his ring work during that time was great. I'm thrilled he's back.

Change the past tenses stuff into present and future tenses as it applies. Had he stayed Aces and Eights would have never would have had a Director of Chaos. He really made that group what it was. I never saw him as Festus. Liked him as Fake Kane. He was okay not great as Luke Gallows. As DOC though he was gold.

I remember being kind of surprised how quickly they soured on him and then released him. Good worker who was big and also pretty young, as he was only in his mid 20's during his WWE run. I thought he would've did better for himself then he did. TNA axed him fairly quick too which is saying something. Makes think that maybe there was an attitude issue.
I remember him and Kozlov having a shockingly good match on Smackdown when he was Festus, although it admittedly was mainly because they were stiffing each other and hitting each other for real. It was still probably Kozlov's best match during his run which is a testament to how good Festus/Gallows could be as around the same period Kozlov was stinking up the joint in matches against Triple H, Jeff Hardy, and Undertaker all of whom were main event guys that were regarded by most as being good to great workers.

He did... It just wasn't terribly interesting though. Punk and Serena got all the promo time, and Punk got all the meaningful ring time. Gallows was underused and kinda just there, despite not actually doing a bad job. In any case, I'm glad he's back, and hope he tears things up with the current crop of talented big guys WWE have.

He had a hell of a match with The Undertaker back in 2008. On paper, main eventer v comedy tag team guy would never be booked that good 99 times out of a 100, but it was damn good and put over Festus massive.

I think it's fitting he was the fake Kane, since he's another talented big man who'll take any crap they throw at him and try to make it work. Hope he can end up even half as successful.
Hell just look at Festus, a mentally challenged wrestler, he was basically a more extreme Eugene, but he got that over and somehow doesn't have the backlash that Eugene has afterwards.

Guys, you are forgetting one of his greatest moments: Putting on a Brian May wig and then putting an old Kane costume on.
