The Observer is reporting that Itami should be returning in the next few weeks. His long absence has been down mostly to a vastly slower than expected recovery from surgery, which had apparently "not gone well".

Man I hope we finally settle this parking lot attack angle. It's gonna feel like he's starting all over.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they just drop the angle since basically everyone he was working with in NXT is gone. Though I guess the new obvious choice is Joe.

Wasn't it something like they did a surgery, and then later noticed that he wasn't recovering, so he had to have more surgery to fix the actual problem?

Possibly, it didn't really elaborate in this particular part of the newsletter.

Surprise return in the Takeover main event? Maybe Itami lays out the winner once they raise the cage.

Few updates to catch up on...
John Cena is back on TV after his long absence with a shoulder injury, and will likely be in action at Money In The Bank Sasha Banks was back in action on TV this week after a couple of weeks out with a concussion Blake worked the NXT Tampa house show tonight against Austin Aries so he's seemingly recovered from his recent knee injury (although from pictures I've seen, he's still got some extra bracing on it)

Elias Sampson could be on this list, against Andrade Almas he twisted his ankle and the match was stopped so keep a look out.

Drifter didn't wrestle last night in Atlanta, so there could be something to this.

It might be useful to sort the list into order of when they were hurt, and also add in when they might be back.
What? Why don't I do it myself instead of telling other people what might be helpful? Fine, I will!
MALE Hideo Itami: Out indefinitely (Estimated Return: Unknown) with shoulder from late May 2015 Tyson Kidd: Out indefinitely (Estimated Return: Unknown) with neck from early June 2015 Randy Orton: Out 4-6 months (Estimated Return: April - June 2016) with shoulder from early December 2015 (confirmed date of surgery) Neville: Out 2-3 months (Estimated Return: May - June 2016) with ankle from mid March 2016 Luke Harper: Out 5-6 months (Estimated Return: August - September 2016) with knee from late March 2016 Bray Wyatt: Out 4-6 weeks (Estimated Return: May - June 2016) with calf from mid April 2016 Elias Samson: Out 2-3 months (Estimated Return: August - September 2016) with ankle from early June 2016
FEMALE Nikki Bella: Out 6 months-indefinitely (Estimated Return: July 2016 - unknown) with neck from late January 2016 (confirmed date of surgery) Naomi: Out indefinitely (Estimated Return: unknown) with ankle from late April 2016 Tamina: Out indefinitely (Estimated Return: unknown) with undisclosed injury from early May 2016 (confirmed date of surgery) Emma: Out indefinitely (Estimated Return: unknown) with back from mid May 2016
I suppose the return dates aren't always that helpful due to people having to wait for the right spot for them to return to.
What's with all the women being out indefinitely?

What's with all the women being out indefinitely? Most of it is because of second-hand sources that are reporting these injuries when WWE themselves aren't, things like Twitter and other news sites. Like, I don't even know what Tamina is out with, only that she had surgery for "ligament repair", which could mean anything from a few weeks to a year.

Xavier Woods is stating on Twitter that he may have a possible broken rib, but until I can find out whether it's a real injury or a storyline injury, he'll remain off the list.

Alberto Del Rio may be injured after a bad bump in the Money in the Bank match. Story developing.
