This was at the same show as Sheamus vs. Brock. Was there last night and I honestly think this is just a cover for Sin Cara's injury. No real danger of this becoming a thing (at least it didn't seem like it was supposed to be). It was a fun match and Torito is good enough at running and bumping around to really get you into the match before busting out a cool feat or two.
One thing that surprised me was how over Kalisto was. As soon as the Lucha Dragons music hit the crowd popped pretty big, and with so many kids in the audience, the "Lucha! Lucha!" chant was consistently loud throughout the entrance and the match.

If he's no longer with the Matadores, shouldn't he have a new gimmick? You don't remember JB El Torito?  I mean it in the sense that he shouldn't be a "Torito" at all if he isn't going to be a mascot for the guys with the bullfighter gimmick. If they still wanna keep him in the Bull suit, at least put him with Bull Dempsey so it makes sense. |

You think it was a happy team, but Torito actually threw a chair at Kalisto and told the ref to ''get that tiny piece of shit out of my ring'' Then he put his hands over his head and shook his junk at him. I believe the name of that dance is twerking, Maggle. And I love it. |

What a waste on Kalisto. After that TLC match, and Sin Cara sadly being injured, this is the perfect time to give him a singles push. But no, team him up with a comic relief act. That'll get him over!

I feel like the bull gimmick has got El Torito over, he was the only over part of Los Matadores.
If they just made him a little guy in a mask nobody would know who he was, kind of like how Hornswoggle still came out to the Irish music even after Finlay was active.
Speaking of Hornswoggle, it's depressing to read people mention El Torito in the same light as that fat talentless waste of roster space who overstayed his welcome nearly a decade ago.
