Hey y'all! I wanted to create this thread to help draw people to the forum games board we have and since the mods approved of it, here it is. As the title suggests, this thread can be used by anyone to announce and/or promote games they're running in the eponymous board and hopefully get more people to check them. I'd like to start by announcing a Let's Play of Final Fantasy VIII. But not just any Let's Play, a Let's Play of the French version of the game since, well, that's the version I grew up with and I think it'd be interesting to show the differences with the English version to other people. So make sure to check the board as I intend to start it as soon as possible (i.e.: as soon as I get the emulator to run it decently). Edit: There it is! |

Not a bad idea here at all. I'll go ahead and promote our weekly Jackbox Party Pack sessions hosted in our very own Forum Gaming section. We usually hold them every Friday night at around 8:00 PM Central although sometimes we hold them on other nights throughout the week at different times and stream everything via Twitch, Hitbox, Youtube, or whatever else we can think of. @vyse , Demented , Giul T. ,and I usually host them, but anybody else who has the games is also welcome to stream a session as well. The best part is that you don't even need to have the game yourself in order to participate. All you need is decent internet in order to watch the streaming action and to log onto jackbox.tv and enter the room code to join the fun. I'll actually be doing a stream myself in a few hours so feel free to pop in and have some crazy fun times with us. The thread in question is right here.As for the various games, they include... Fibbbage: A trivia game centered around lying to other players in order to fool them and earn the most points while also trying to guess the true answer. Quiplash: A silly game where you're given a prompt and have to come up with the best answer possible with the other players voting between two players's answers to see who gets the most points. Drawful: Basically like Pictionary or other such games except with ridiculous prompts. Earwax: Another prompt-based game where you use various sound effects in order to best capture a given scenario with one player judging and deciding who gets the points. And there are a few more as well. So if any of these sounds like something you'd be interested in playing then feel free to join us at your leisure. |

My turn: After noticing that we have not had any Mafia games in quite some time, I'm trying to work out the details for a Mortal Kombat Mafia game. If there is enough interest I will run it. Here's the thread if anoyne is interested. |

I mean to go explore that forum more often, but somehow always forget. Knowing that there's a weekly Jackbox Party Pack thing, I'll have to make sure to do so! Love those games, haha.

I have it in my sig, but I'll post it here. I'm running a new fed called Fire Pro Championship Wrestling. Been going since the end of August. I have 4 championships, two that are crowned in annual tournaments, and two that you only get a shot at by winning 3 points, or 3 matches in a row. I sim matches using Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, with regular shows every so often and one pay per view event a month. And it's mainly fictional characters, with a couple real wrestlers making appearances here and there. And you can take a peak..... RIGHT HERE!!! |
