RAW is live from New Orleans, the city where Brock Lesnar conquered The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak in 2014, and tonight, Lesnar is due to appear on TV for the first time since the Hell in a Cell PPV back in October. With the announcement last week that Roman Reigns will be forced to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the Royal Rumble Match in Orlando in two weeks time, perhaps this is blood that the Beast Incarnate is sniffing. Will Lesnar declare his entry into the Rumble tonight?
The biggest pressure is indeed on Reigns, as he's in the unique position of having to defend his title in a match where anybody could throw him over the top rope, and he loses his title. But the pressure isn't just limited to January 24th - Reigns could be attacked at any time leading up to then. Mr. McMahon won't want Reigns entering at 100%, that's for sure. Who tries to claim a metaphorical bounty tonight on RAW?
Last Thursday on SmackDown, Kalisto defeated United States Champion Alberto Del Rio, with a bit of help from the now-injured John Cena, who we likely won't be seeing again, at least in-ring, for a few months. The Lucha Dragon is now due a shot at Del Rio's US Title - will that happen tonight, or at the Royal Rumble?
Thursday also saw an Intercontinental Title defence which wasn't resolved, as champion Dean Ambrose and challenger Kevin Owens brawled all over the arena, only ending when both men ended up going through a table. The likelihood is that both men will end up in something like a Last Man Standing Match or a Falls Count Anywhere Match at the Rumble, let's see if anything is set up between Ambrose and Owens tonight.
Last week on RAW, Becky Lynch earned a title opportunity by defeating her best friend (at the time) Charlotte. The Divas Champion reacted by attacking Lynch from behind, ending their friendship for good. The title match took place on SmackDown, where Lynch thought she had the match won, only for Ric Flair to put Charlotte's feet on the ropes, allowing the champion to sneak away with the win. The nature of the result surely keeps Lynch in contention, and she'll be looking for revenge on Charlotte tonight.
Speaking of Flair, following RAW tonight, the Nature Boy will be the special guest on Steve Austin's Podcast, from 11pm EST on the WWE Network - so watch RAW tonight from 8/7c on USA, and who knows, you may be lucky enough to see the Social Outcasts!

Can they please stop shoveling Flair out there with his daughter and just let her get over as a heel organically? her whole gimmick is female Ric Flair at this point.

Brock Lesnar never returns unless he means business, and as the WWE Universe prepares to begin The Road to WrestleMania, it’s clear that something — or someone — draws The Beast Incarnate to Raw this Monday. Perhaps there is symbolic importance to Lesnar’s appearance in New Orleans, the very city in which he conquered The Undertaker’s iconic Streak at WrestleMania 30. Or perhaps Lesnar’s return is tied directly to Mr. McMahon’s bombshell announcement last week that Roman Reigns will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against 29 other Superstars in the 2016 Royal Rumble Match. Might Lesnar have sports-entertainment’s grandest prize in his crosshairs? Regardless, whatever Lesnar does on this week’s Raw will be something no one wants to miss. Roman Reigns goes into every battle with a singular mindset: “One Versus All.” That credo resonates even more than usual as The Big Dog prepares for the 2016 Royal Rumble Match, where he’ll defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against 29 other Superstars. As the bearer of WWE’s crown jewel, Reigns already had a target on his back, but now nearly every Superstar on the roster will be looking to weaken Reigns, either during the Royal Rumble Match or in the two weeks leading up to it. How will Reigns navigate his most perilous challenge yet? Thursday night on SmackDown, John Cena introduced Kalisto as U.S. Champion Alberto Del Rio’s opponent, and after The Essence of Excellence refused to put his title on the line, The Lucha Dragon scored an upset victory over the boastful League of Nations member. Following Kalisto’s non-title win over Del Rio — perhaps the biggest accomplishment in his career thus far — is the masked marvel in line for a U.S. Title opportunity? Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens held nothing back in SmackDown’s monumental first main event on its new permanent home, USA Network, where the bitter rivals brawled to a no-contest and continued to pummel each other around the arena until the show went off the air. It was a wince-inducing crash through tables that ultimately ended the mayhem, but something tells us this battle will continue on Raw. After suffering a brutal beatdown from Charlotte on Raw, Becky Lynch faced her former friend in a Divas Championship Match on SmackDown. Were it not for the meddling of Charlotte’s father, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, The Lass Kicker would be holding the butterfly-emblazoned title right now. The Nature Boy’s interference on Thursday night clearly infuriated Becky, who will no doubt continue her pursuit of both retribution and the Divas Championship on Raw. Will we see a new, more aggressive side of The Lass Kicker? Don’t miss Raw at 8/7 C on USA Network, and be sure to tune in to Raw Pre-Show at 7:30 ET, only on the award-winning WWE Network.

I'm watching tonight like it's 1999. I'll be switching between two channels, watching whatever keeps my attention and I'll be drinking a Surge.

Will we see a new, more aggressive side of The Lass Kicker? Well, she does use an armbar as her finisher.

The Brock Lesnar segment will be interesting, but aside from that? Meh, I'll just keep my TV muted and follow the thread as always. JBL said we didn't need them, after all.
