Well, so much for that guaranteed SEA/GB/NYG combination in the NFC Championship game...

Tom's not great in Denver but Denver is not great. (Note: Denver is my team, I am going to cheer like hell for them and be pissed if they lose but I have also watched this season)
21-15 Pats.
Don't trust either NFC team but trust the Panthers far less.
37-31 Cards.
Super Bowl is an embarrassment for AZ and Goodell who has to kiss Brady's ass on the stage.
51-14 Pats.

Much like two years ago, the Broncos are going to restrict ticket sales to Colorado and its surrounding areas to ensure that they do have home field advantage. The Seahawks also did the same thing two years ago when they played the 49ers.
What other teams did this? From what I read, the Chargers did this during the 2006 AFC Divisional (vs. the Pats), as did the Bucs in 2007 (vs.the Giants).

I'm not saying the Patriots are going to stroll into Denver and cruise to a victory, but when the two teams met in week 12, the Patriots were without Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, and Jamie Collins; they lost Dont'a Hightower in the second quarter and Rob Gronkowski in the fourth quarter; and the Broncos were playing with a much better quarterback under center. Yet Denver still needed overtime to win that game.

A relatively healthy Patriots team should beat Denver, even on the road. Pats 28 Denver 17.

Marshall Faulk blowing off the question "Should Denver start Brock?" with a simple "CBS would never allow it".

The Patriots have ZERO excuses to not win next week.
If the now fully healthy Pats, with Edelman/Gronk/etc. back can't beat a battered and beatable Peyton, then I don't know what to say

Have to say, this is the first year in a while I think matchup in the SB means everything, I think each team would beat one opponent but lose to the other.
If it's NE/CAR - CAR wins If it's CAR/DEN - DEN wins If it's DEN/ARZ - ARZ wins If it's ARZ/NE - NE wins

Pats and Panthers are my pick. Neither AFC team looked great, but the Pats ooked a little more consistent even with teh consistent misfires. Carolina was astounding in teh first half, and you have to epect a team to come out flat after building a 31-0 lead. That doesn't excuse everythign, but the talent they've shown thus far in the playoffs is the best in the league.

If the Patriots, with a healthy and seemingly clicking team, somehow someway lose to this version of Peyton Manning, which I don't expect, but IF....
it would not only be the biggest AFC-CG upset since Chargers/Steelers in 1994-95, but it would be maybe the worst non-Eli playoff loss of Brady/Belichick era.

I said at the start of the playoffs Patriots would beat the Cardinals in the Super Bowl and I'm sticking with it.

It's the New York media and they are just jealous that one of their so called great teams aren't involved because neither could make the playoffs.

Seems like the NFL has the same problem WWE does of putting over certain talents on commentary more than others.
