From the granddaddy of them all StarrcadeWrestlemaniaNBA Jam, to NFL Blitz, NHL Hitz, MLB's the Bigs, and even like NBA Street. Its sad how its been almost 5 years since the last licensed arcade style game with NBA Jam On Fire Edition (still holds up even if the roster is dated.). You'd think with the existence of XBLA and PSN that they'd be more viable then a 50 dollar release but nope.

Sports gaming seems to be stuck in the cycle of "simulation". Sometimes I want to play video games to get as far away from real life as possible.
Yes, I'm highly entertained by cartoon James Harden dunking it from the 3 point line and the backboard exploding like an H Bomb. Yes I'd rather play a game where I can press TURBO and suddenly Peyton Manning is outrunning Richard Sherman and leaving a trail of fire on that field. I'm entertained by the Undertaker shooting lasers from his eyes and doing moonsaults from the top rope to the outside.

NBA Jam was awesome. Blitz was atrocious, though.
