I mentioned this in a thread about the worst factions in WWE. I've been accused of having hallucinated this one, but I KNOW it happened! Though God only knows why...
It started out with Gunn being paired with Torrie Wilson and the two of them obsessively slapping each other on the keester. Gunn started feuding with Noble, who was still in his psycho hillbilly phase. They had a classic "If I win I get your girlfriend" match, and Noble won. I think he may even have had assistance from his storyline gf Nidia, who for some reason was okay with her supposed boyfriend wanting to sleep with another woman.
What followed was one of those backstage skits that I wish I could somehow scrub from my memory. We were shown Noble getting ready for his big date with Torrie. Billy Gunn crashed the festivities to save her. For some reason this caused Noble and Nidia to go into heat, and the two of them started making out while Gunn and Torrie looked on in disgust. A little later we were treated to the pay off of this whole, depressing matter when all four of them were shown laughing in bed together. The implication being they had just finished having group sex, for anyone who didn't get the message-or were trying to somehow block it out.
Noble and Gunn them joined forces as a tag team that lasted for all of one televised match. After that the whole thing was dropped. My lingering suspicion is that these two were actually meant to be a long term team up, with the idea being that they were engaged in "swapping" girlfriends. Because I'd totally swap Torrie Wilson for Nidia, wouldn't you? I don't have any evidence, but a "swapping" angle sounds all too believable as something Vince McMahon would attempt to push. But still, I suppose it was at least better than Katie Vick or Little People's Court.

In one of those awkward instances where you are struggling for conversation I blurted out to her that "I knew a dominatrix with that name"....I tried to explain that it was someone on tv but needless to say the conversation ended awkwardly and for my entire time working there, I received lots of strange looks by people who inside their heads were thinking "Oh look, that's the weird creepy dude who pays women to whip him" Apologies for taking the thread off course |

This must have happened during my hiatus. Personally, the best thing about PG era is no more of these horrible, embarrassing sex angles. The whole "wife/girlfriend on the line" was one of the worst ever.

I forget how it all ended, but I seem to recall that Kimberly wanted nothing to do with it because of how freakishly huge and unpredictable Steiner had become. And there was the infamous Vince Russo/Stacy Kielber pregnancy that thankfully never happened. |
