I have to think the aim with Puma this season is to start getting him over as his own man. In many ways, Puma was the vehicle for the audience to experience the Temple through in season one; a home town boy who didn't even speak for himself, as he was largely meant to be a blank slate for us (albeit an insanely athletic blank slate), and even had to rely on Konnan's help at times.
So this year, Puma remains a hero, but starts coming into his own: dude's already been champion, what could he do if he harnesses everything else about himself? Build this character arc in season 2, build to his return to glory in season 3.
Fenix, meanwhile, is Mil's archnemesis by his very nature of being the bird that cannot die forever. I have to think a huge story of season 2 will be him turning the tables on and now hunting Cuerno so he can get his GotG back.

That's great, it looked like from first reports it'd be early 2017 when we would get it.

Judging from the comic, The Disciples of Death have a hobby of collecting skulls, from living people.

Only complaint I have with episode one...
Vampiro has a breakdown in a mental institution from what happened to him at UL. He gets prescribed drugs for his mental problems.
He's back behind the desk with Matt, as though nothing has happened and the cut scene meant nothing.

He's back behind the desk with Matt, as though nothing has happened and the cut scene meant nothing. Vamp lied his way out, met up with Striker and when asked if they still have a job, Striker replied "We were invited back to the Temple but I warn you it is a much darker place" which plays off of what Vamp told Pentagon Jr. to end S1, "What do we do now?" "We're going to a much darker place". Plus the whole focus on him after Pentagon broke Mil's arm. It's all build.

Everything with Vamp served a purpose as does pretty much everything LU quite frankly.
Vamp lied to get out of the institution Vamp and the pills How did Vamp end up in the asylum in the first place What is the relationship with Pentagon now How will Striker play into this since they are putting an even stronger emphasis on the friendship Who is keeping tabs on Vamp to make sure he does not go off the rails again
Alot of ground work was laid out and slowly but surely all will be anwsered.

Yeah, if there's one thing that LU does amazing is payoffs. Nothing is ever just dropped flat, and everything has a purpose. I was kinda disappointed that they're not immediately running with Pentagon Jr and Vampiro being aligned, but I get it (needing to get Vamp behind the desk again and the fact that they're going to push Pentagon as a lunatic face) and I know there's payoff to it all coming. Same with the idea of Cuerno taking the GotG off of Fenix in Fenix's first defense. They're going to push Cuerno hard this season, and he has a deal in place with Mil to not cash in against him. Except Mil gets his arm broke by Pentagon, so you know Cuerno's more than likely going to go back on that because why wouldn't he? So glad the show is back.

LU's stories are built to get invested in and it is glorious to be able to theorize about where it all could go which is pretty much any direction. Them finding a way to get Vamp back on commentary all while still developing his story just goes to show just how good they are at this and really how much they care to listen to their audience because coming out of season 1 everyone was wondering who would take Vamps place all while also saying they would miss him because he and striker became a great commentary duo.

Finally had time to catch the first episode and as expected really liked it.
I'm often impressed with how efficient the show is with their time management and this was no exception. In less than an hour, they've established the new status quo, immediately shaken it up, and left us with a lot of burning questions. For example, how willing will Cuerno be in keeping his deal with Catrina when Muertes is now the walking wounded? What happened to Vampiro that left him in the asylum, and what does it mean of his relationship with Pentagon? What is Dario planning?
I love this show.

This week's show...
*Killshot vs. Johnny Mundo *The Mack vs. PJ Black *HANDICAP MATCH: Pentagon Jr. & Prince Puma vs. The Disciples of Death (Barrio Negro, El Siniestro de la Muerte & Trece)
Cagematch also lists Bengala, Drago & Famous B vs. Cage & The Crew, but that might just be a dark match.

Killshot has such a badass name and look, pity at this point he's more or less a jobber. Not familiar with the guy outside of LU so not sure how much potential to go up the card there is.

The problem with Killshot as a singles guy in LU is that there already is King Cuerno, who already does the calculating assassin wrestler gimmick. I would love to have KS, Willie Mack and Big Ryck together in the trios division. When he and Mack got brought in as Ryck's back-up in season 1 he was the one who stood out the most to me in that crew. Two big, jacked up loudmouth brawlers and behind them is this kinda small wirey kickboxer looking guy with the mask who never speaks. It's like in any given action anime or kung fu movie, you just KNOW that guy is the true boss fight.

The Mack vs PJ Black should be dope. I could see this being a featured match at PWG ASW or something if they were still booking Willie Mack.

I think with Killshot the case is, small fish in a big pond. He's talented, but so is everyone else on the roster. Fenix,Puma, Pentagon, Mil Muertes, The Dysfunctional Trio, Drago, Mundo, Aerostar and others that's quite the talent there and he doesn't standout other than his bullseye mask

I wonder if this means KillShot is not actually the commando guy from the trailers since alot of people had pegged him to be that guy.
Intrigue I like it.

Remember Aerostar was suppose to be a bit player until his standout performances. Give him something of substance and he'll prove himself.

Well judging by some of the results I've seen, he maybe doing something of importance this season other than extra body in matches.
