I know it hasn't ever been hinted at in the canon, but I think Supergirl being Bisexual would be neat. I think that would have been interesting to explore especially in the new 52 arc with her being friends with Silver Banshee. They need to tone down her.......attitude. Her New 52 comic was quite good, but she flew off the handle quite a lot. They gave her a lot of brat teenager qualities, which was unfortunate since most modern versions of her lacked a lot of that annoying drama. But I liked the Silver banshee friendship - it worked, then was sadly brushed under the couch when those disappointing Super-crossovers came wandering thru.

I see Slott is on a Superman rant on Twitter with the MOS movie Tom Brevoort is spamming his Facebook page with rants about that and Batman leaving Ras to die in Batman Begins. Gets pretty annoying when you're tagged to him and you're trying to read other people's updates

If anything, they should match her personality with her TV show counterpart.

I'd say for some people it's the whole 2 girls making out thing and it's more of a fetish thing rather than any real characterization or story. But, yes there is a lack of male Bi-sexual characters. But,For me though it's a character I follow and at that point in time in the characters story could be interesting.

Kurt Busiek is having a lotta fun with that one with the 'Superman doesn't kill' thing. Except that one time Byrne's had him kill. But we can forget about that. Also that one time Moore had him kill. But again everyone just bitches.

Do you know what I find funny about the people who complain about the ending to Man of Steel is that not one of them ever came up with an alternate idea on how to defeat Zod. All the writers and artists couldn't come up with one. Except Morrison. And he didn't even hate it.

I suppose the easiest answer would be having Zod Phantom Zoned like the others, but I had no issue with the Zod kill either way (I loved MoS frankly); I mean Zod flat out said that if he wasn't put down that he'd wiped out every human on Earth.

My issue wasnt that he killed him, but that he only killed him after they willfully destroyed the city, with Superman not once stopping to help the civilians nor even considering trying to lure Zod away.
They put big budget destruction ahead of the character, after they had spent half the film trying to make us get that Superman did care and would put his own safety at risk to help/save people despite the stupid characterisation they give his dad.
Throw in that scene in the church trying to make religious analogy, as well as some poor miscasts and you just get such a downer film when Superman is meant to be about hope.
I have more hope for this sequel, but again it looks far too dark and broody, and has another set of AWFUL miscasts.

The only problem I also had with the death of Zod is that it's his first public outing as Superman so to the public it's not the oh my God it's a threat so bad that Superman has to kill! IT comes off as Ok this super being kills people. I also had a problem with Zod as a character as he does things that at best don't make any sense or at worst actively go against his main goal of reviving/protecting Krypton.

I haven't watched Man of Steel since it was in theaters so this is all I remember about Zod's character.
