This is something that I brought up in the Asuka thread that might be worth putting to the group...
We all know how her initial callup kinda died in the butt, but she's managed to reinvent herself pretty well back in NXT by abandoning the goofy dancing, turning heel and pairing up with Dana Brooke (which has also helped Brooke improve her game and keep her in mind while she's dealing with some injuries)... Yet, I'm looking at the heel side of the main women's roster, and there's not much there. You got Charlotte as the top heel, but after her it's pretty much only Naomi and Tamina right now. Sasha Banks is a tweener at best at the moment, Nikki Bella is out of the division entirely with injury and Brie will probably remain a face until she steps out to start a family with Daniel Bryan. Summer Rae never wrestles anymore. Alicia Fox can pad out the numbers in a pinch but she's damaged goods from so many turns over the years, and to a lesser extent so is Paige. Natalya could turn as well, but you still need your gatekeepers on the face side and she serves that purpose fine. And Cameron and Eva Marie are still trying to improve via their own NXT runs, so they're not much of an option either.
So why not call up Emma again? Her wrestling has always been pretty good, there's some fresh combinations you can do with Banks and Lynch that were barely touched upon in NXT and it'd also free up a spot in the NXT TV rotation for the likes of Billie Kay or Peyton Royce to get some TV time and maybe (finally) some wins on the board.

Asuka's going to need a top heel, and Dana's not quite there yet.
I don't think Emma and Dana should be broken up for a long time

I don't think Emma and Dana should be broken up for a long time Indeed it is kind of a tricky thing as to which roster needs her more. If you take her out of NXT, your heel side is Brooke, Jax, Eva, Bliss and Cameron, which doesn't read THAT great on paper.

No. They need someone experienced in NXT to work with all the women there and help train them up. Emma is the best option for that, at the moment. They can't let the four horsewomen be the only big female stars that NXT produces.

Hot damn, she can sell a promo with facial expressions, actually her non-verbal communication is awesome all around. My main issue with Alexa is really when she's just talking. I think it's a problem with a lot of the women on either roster, it's very clear that they've gone over their promo too many times before they get on camera. Brie Bella is the absolute worst offender of the reading her lines in a robotic delivery, but I see it in Alexa when she's talking normal.

Yes, but not yet. Emma has just been absolutely nailing her new role. Her aggressive work in the buildup to the Asuka match was great and then her performance against Asuka was even better. Her and Dana are one of the more entertaining combinations going in all of the WWE. However, right now, the focus is on Charlotte, Sasha and Becky and that's great. Let it be on them for now. If Emma got called up, she'd probably get lost in the shuffle. Have her come back in a few months with actual plans and you could have the next great heel diva.

Where the hell is Summer anyway? Probably doing press stuff for NXT and cooling her heels while there's not much for her. The Divas Division is kinda weirdly full right now, when you think about it. I doubt they'd press their luck gunning for a third running story.

Not until Dana is ready to come up with her.
Evil Emma is great, but she's even better with Delusional Dana talking crap on the outside.

No, I don't see being in NXT as a bad thing. It's the whole "big fish in a small pond," mentality. If she were to get moved to the main roster, she would most certainly get lost in the shuffle. Just look what they did with Sasha, who was arguably the hottest act in NXT when she got called up. They're just now pulling the trigger on her, and poor Tyler Breeze is going nowhere. NXT is now much more than WWE's developmental system. They're consistently putting on better shows than the main brand, so why not stay where the show is hot?

She doesn't have to go after the Divas Title, but there's no reason why she can't be doing Main Event/Superstars matches AND NXT like Ryder does.

That depends, what comedy jobber are they going to have her be the love interest of this time?

I hope she doesn't end up like Maxine, who got released just as she was improving.
I'd like to see her feud with Paige again if they do push her, the two had amazing chemistry in the early NXT days and they seem to be close friends outside the ring.

Emma's honestly someone they need, especially when Bayley goes, an experienced hand and a solid worker. I think she will eventually be called up, but it should be when Dana is ready, I've grown to love those two together.

The womens division on the main roster should be built around Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks for the next few months (at least). Those three should be involved in a triple threat match at Wrestlemania (im seriously going to be pissed/disappointed if they leave out Becky and just go with Charlotte vs Sasha).
Charlotte is doing a good job as a heel right now and should be one of the top two heels in the division (along with Sasha) for the foreseeable future. Becky is by far the best booked face on the roster and has done a great job (on the mic and in ring) lately, and also has the support of fans so she really should be the number one face (until Bayley gets called up). Then they have Paige who can fill whatever role they need (as a face of heel) at any time. She could be a monthly challenger for the belt or feud with whoever isn't involved in the title picture. Brie is obviously always going to be involved in some way (even though she is awful).
I don't see where Emma would fit. She would just end up in a similar position to Natalya, where she appears every now and then and is used to put over other women

Eventually, no doubt. But for now, NXT needs her more and she can just continue rebuilding her cred.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet on her and Dana entering the main roster in 2016. Maybe post-Summerslam?
