First win of the season for Hamilton, Ricciardo is second thanks to a botched pit stop and Perez completes the podium.
The rest creep round as the rain starts again.
Hulkenberg slips past Rosberg just before the end!

Man, Ricciardo just does NOT look like he wants to be there right now, and I don't blame him one bit.

That Red Bull pit stop debacle. In this era pit crews have one major job, change tires. A 13+ second pit stop is unforgivable, especially for a major team. If I was Ricardo, I would be shining up my official oversized boot and giving the pit crew a solid kick in the butt.
Also, good to see both MacLarens finish in the points, I know its a wet race and Monoco, but still good to see them rebound.

Oh here is a fun question. If you could be a fly on the wall at any team meeting? Which one would you be at? Red Bull that probably gave away a race or Sauber a team on the bubble of existence who had their two drivers wreck themselves out.

The Monaco GP started out sluggish but progressed nicely. As for the 500, it has been a blast watching the race live.
I don't know about the 600 tonight, though. A tropical depression is hitting the Carolinas.

I've been all about Rossi for years. He should be in F1 this year, but eh.
Winning the 500 in his first attempt though... what an amazing drive.

Way to go Rossi. It would be interesting to see what happens if he gets a seat in a mid tier F1 seat.
Now on to the 600, those clouds are looking ripe with rain.

Race at just slightly after the halfway point thus the race will be official if it starts to rain heavily

Great day at the track, one of the best 500s I've seen.
I've already seen/heard people complaining about how there wasn't a shootout at the end, but screw that, Rossi and his team did what they needed to do to get to 500 miles first. That was better than having a crap shoot of a finish to me. I was losing my shit when he stayed out for that last lap - it's the kind of drive that should go down as one of the great 500 stories.
Bummed about Aleshin crashing out early, shocked that Montoya did, and was disappointed when Karam did. Pleasantly surprised there was no first lap crash.
Hope Rossi can/decides to stick around, at least for a while.

Truex has led the most laps distance wise in NASCAR history. I really hopes he wins this race.

So glad to see him finally get it, Honestly, this should've been his 4th or 5th win by the way he has been running.
