Hamilton wins it in Germany... The championship has completely turned around now going into the mid season break.

Another straightforward drive for Hamilton gives him 6 wins in the last 7 races and a solid lead in the championship. If it continues after the break, he's going to run away with it.
Red Bull overtake Ferrari in the constructors championship by taking the other 2 podium places. Remember when Kvyat got a podium and is now hardly mentioned at all?
Vettel overruled the team during the race and decided he wasn't taking his stop when they wanted. With the sometimes questionable strategy by Ferrari recently, you can't really blame him.
Next race is at the end of August in Belgium.

Dale Jr. will miss the next two races, at Watkins Glen and the Bristol Night Race, because of concussion like symptoms. There is then an off week, giving him 3 more weeks to rest and heal. Jeff Gordon will fill in at both tracks and make his historic 800th start at the Glen.

Xfinity Series at Watkins Glen. 19 laps, 4 cautions. And now we're at a red flag because of a massive pile up.

Denny Hamlin wins a wild race at Watkins Glen...the Cup series definitely needs a few more road course races.

Derrick Cope just went ka-f***ing-boom! You were kidding. I thought he just had an engine let loose.... nope. Good thing he is ok. And Denny won at the Glen. Denny Hamlin wins a wild race at Watkins Glen...the Cup series definitely needs a few more road course races. I agree, or at least put one in the chase. Like I have said before, when I was younger I hated the road races, now they are the races I look forward to.

A fall northeast double with Loudon and the Glen would be sweet, and selfishly I could go to both.

If they want to do those round gimmicks in the Chase, I'd like to see a "specialty" track in each round. One round has a short track, one has a superspeedway and one a road course. The final round can be all cookie cutters. I mean if you're going to gimmick stuff, don't half ass it and have some fun with it.

IndyCar scheduled a press conference in several hours (as of this post) Monday morning re: Bryan Clauson. That frankly doesn't sound good...
