"Just For Sidekicks": The pets and the CMC were the highlight of a pretty meh Spike episode. Loved the critter interaction and this was probably the last episode where we got to see Squeaky Belle before puberty hit her. The idea with the "one episode from two different points of view" was neat although given how the next one ended, it would have been better to air "Games Ponies Play" first. All in all, an average one with a few good moments. C+. The TLML Adventures Part 43Lemon Hearts went to the Crystal Empire to pick up Twinkleshine and Minuette who went to buy some of the Crystal ointments which were said to be among the hottest new products...  As soon as she arrived, Lemon Hearts saw both and them and after exchanging a few pleasentries, they were ready to board the train...   After talking about the newest gossip from Canterlot, they reached Ponyville where they decided to share some of their newly bought ointment with Lyra before returning to Canterlot...  On their way home, Lemon Hearts was a bit pouty that her work caused to miss being able to visit the Crystal Empire with them but they reassured her that her time will come soon. |
