I mean, if it were me, I would have done it here but then I can see both sides to it. Considering how Infinity War could potentially end...it wouldn't be a GREAT place to do it and you'd want it to come in Avengers 4 but it makes sense if it's only in her own movie first.

Well I specifically meant the second Black Widow... Yelena Belova.  Technically she's the third Black Widow. Claire Voyant never gets any respect. Fourth, at least. There was one in their in-canon westerns as well. This is the kind of thing that made us phase out the II, III and so on crap. |

Technically she's the third Black Widow. Claire Voyant never gets any respect. Fourth, at least. There was one in their in-canon westerns as well. This is the kind of thing that made us phase out the II, III and so on crap. I tried to look this up but couldn't find anything on a Western Black Widow. However I did learn of Dean Tarlek, a male crossdresser hitman who called himself Black Widow and fought Miss America back in the 40's. Apparently women would hire him to kill their husbands. I want a movie about that guy. |

I sorta wish Stan Lee's GotG2 cameo was saved for Infinity War. It'd make sense for him to have a bigger-than-usual cameo, and the GotG one would've been perfect, considering it alludes to a bigger role in the MCU.

Hell, just give those two their own buddy movie. Their chemistry would be insane. Lawful Good vs. Chaotic Good.

Why in the ever living hell is Groot still an adolescent or teen here? Does that mean the GOTG2 credits scene with Starlord and Groot takes place closer to Infinity War than to that movie?
Or is Groot just being a lovable ass and refusing to grow to OG Groot until he's needed to...just because he can?

(WHY HAVE YOU BEEN SMALL THIS WHOLE TIME!? I am Groot.) I haven't seen GotG2 yet, but I assume this was not the case. |

I like to imagine Groot is basically a god and gets joy from sitting back and watching shit happen, sometimes he even stirs the pot to screw with people... until his friends get in too much trouble then he's all about buckling down and getting shit done.
Either that or he's Marvel's version of Tom Bombadil, minus the yellow boots and singing about porking his wife Goldberry.
