If they do plan on a Mephisto analogue in the movies, Loki is really the only character they've already introduced who could fill that role. Red Skull could too, I suppose, but obviously he's not in the movie. Hey, guys. Spoiler tags aren't necessary for rumor and speculation. None of you had to go through the trouble of using them in the above posts. Since Loki being a villain again despite his face turn in Ragnarok isn't obvious from the trailer, I'd consider that a spoiler, no? I was referring to all the responses to your post. As for Loki, the trailer showed him possibly handing the Tesseract over to someone, so it's likely most people already figured he'd be helping Thanos. Plus, it's Loki. He's a villain in the first place. |

That would explain Ant-Man being involved in the Battle for New York and Stark wearing SHIELD gear during the battle.
The theory went on that at the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Lang will probably break through the multiverse to try and convince the rest that they’re in a fake reality and get them to return to battle Thanos. |

So Avengers 4 is "Heroes Reborn"? My bet is this how we get X-Men and F4 into the MCU. I don't expect it in the main film, but an after credits scene. Like we see the back of Professor Xavier's head as he's speaking or something. That or Nick Fury uses the word "mutant" at a shield base. |

Probably some hyperbole in that statement, but if people were hype for the Civil War airport battle, they'll go gaga for this.

Honestly, I'd move Coulson to the "long shots" category. They seem perfectly fine with Phil dead on the movie side. Even Clark Gregg has said as much. Though I'm sure he's not turning down any offer to cross back over to the movies when AOS finally ends. I do half-expect him to appear in Avengers 4, though, given at least part of the movie takes place during the Battle of New York time period. Wait a minute...considering what’s leaked about Tony in Avengers 4 in the Battle of New York... ..... .............. !!!!!!!!! Now I want Iron Coulson damn it! |

Well now we know that the shot of Cap/Hulk/Bucky/BP/Black Widow/Okoye at the end of the trailer was probably doctored to remove the other 34 people.  |
