I like Eva and usually give her some slack, but why the hell did WWE bring her back as a face? That's just straight up denial on the Raw booking team. Unless she's gonna swerve them.

I just realized this. Eva will cost her team the match on Sunday, and then the next night, she will pin Brie Bella in her final match.

When Eva actually gave Bayley her best title match (outside of Sasha and most likely Asuka) Well yeah, when the matchmakers actually care and amazingly build the match around your limitations....use every shortcut in the book...book close false finishes to give fans heart attacks. That match is a perfect example of a creative team doing their job. Eva was there doing what she does best. Get heat. Otherwise, they knew better than to give her actual things to do. But yeah, great title defense  |

But yeah, great title defense Eva Marie only did four things during that match (not including posing and basic striking); a sliced bread, a snap suplex, a (horrible) big boot and taking a bayley-2-belly off the top rope. |

I LOVED her match with Bayley. Sure, it was overbooked fun, but hell if that crowd was HOT all the way through. The fact "she brought" babyface Li'l Naich Robinson down to play a corporate-sponsored heel referee role was awesome.
If they ever booked a main roster invasion angle in NXT (I'd personally rather they didn't), that match would be the way to do it. I mean, I honestly believed Bayley could lose due to Eva's shenanigans. Very few modern day WWE matches have that air of unpredictability anymore.

As much as I dislike her, the match with Bayley was booked to perfection. Bayley carried her through the wrestling sections and Eva did her job well as the heel. Charles Robinson was a great addition and for a good while I was genuinely worried that she might win. She can't wrestle, but that match was booked to her strengths and weaknesses perfectly.
