But Shining Armor could have covered for her while she gave exposition. He was falling asleep on his feet - maybe they should have Sunburst come in to keep an eye on Flurry Heart.... *now gets an image of a flummoxed Sunburst tangled up in stuff as Flurry Heart cheers from her crib* |

8/10. Very solid Spike episode, may very well be the best one that centers around him. Torch and Ember are awesome new characters.

Very good episode all around and easily the best Spike episode so far. Ember and Torch were both solid new characters - Ember's arc was well done and Torch was funny and had a voice that reminded me of Immortan Joe, which is always a plus. Beyond that, the Twilight and Rarity costume gags were funny, Spike actually got to be useful...like I said, very good all around. Went with a 9.
