I might need to watch it sans million technical problems before I can really score it but right now I'm leaning 9. Might go higher watching it uninterrupted.

I missed some stuff in the second act, so I'll definitely rewatch.
NOT pleased with this episode
but the Ponyville Princess looks much more correct with the Idiot Ball in her mane

Final score for No Second Prances is... 7/10. Some solid character development for both Trixie and Starlight and unexpected comedy with Celestia makes for a good outing. Twilight got a little grating, but thankfully never to "What About Discord" levels, and Trixie was realistically flawed in her motivations as well, allowing for some nuance if the story. The friendship attempts with the mane six in the first felt a bit flat (outside RD's expressions, and the pacing felt a bit off in the third act, but still the episode works.
Outside the premiere, season 6 has been doing well.
