Reportedly BEYOND and CHIKARA have also given Styles the boot. 2016 claims another career because of politics, only in this case I don't see people feeling too sorry for the loser

Not really a surprise considering the working relationship with Evolve/FloSlam.

But at the same time pro wrestling has been sexualising women ever since it's inception. Whether we like it or not, it's been a part of the culture even up to today. That's not an excuse, but if we were serious about our outrages we probably wouldn't support any of it. People are serious about it. One of the reasons I support WWE more now is because of the improvements they've made with their women's division. And both Evolve and CHIKARA have inspired me to looking into giving more of my money to them for taking a stand now. Only this year this happened on WWE TV. But that was written into the show by the same people you give money to. Sure, it's better than it used to be, but WWE is not suddenly a bastion of the progressive women's rights movement. They may pay lip service to it, but if they were really behind it they also would have made a much bigger push for the Charlotte/Sasha Banks main event.

Also don't forget WWE still trying to paint Moolah as this revolution female figure and going as far as having their current female wrestlers talk about how great she was.

That isn't surprising once you realize the owner and his family hold the same views/beliefs as Joey Styles.

Guys, getting on someone's political or spiritual beliefs is a no go here and you know this. Stop now.

Guys, getting on someone's political or spiritual beliefs is a no go here and you know this. Stop now. He's right. Let's focus on Joey Styles being a terrible announcer and without the bubble of ECW having a real shitty idea of what is appropriate and and what is not on a television broadcast (Wishing Mike Awesome would kill himself, the incident last week). He's a dinosaur still living on the "success" and reputation of ECW, but not off his own actually performance.

Hopefully Thatcher is okay. As much as I've lost interest in the guy, he still can be a great wrestler and no one should have to go through what he is going through.

Guys, we're missing the big picture.
Is Catch Point over? Or has Drew Gulak simply stopped believing in the cause and left? Does that make Matt Riddle the leader now?

Wow, Joey Styles got fired from 4 jobs in just a few months. That's gotta be a record, not just in wrestling, but in life.

Gabe running FIP again should be interesting. I hope he doesn't burn himself out again.

Hate the fact that they changed the venue in Orlando to one that's a ways away. Looking at $25-$40 one way for an UBER from International Drive area depending on traffic and such. Hopefully they offer a refund on tickets or some form of better transportation.

Hopefully they offer a refund on tickets or some form of better transportation. I was legitimately looking at attending the Progress vs. Evolve show over NXT but between the uber ride, food and tickets I'm probably better off going to NXT. What a bummer. I'm not sure why ROH has their show in Lakeland either.
