Its even on the premade salad bags we package salads with at work. Luke on a goddam bag of chopped up romaine lettuce completely puzzles me. That "low effort" marketing drives me crazy. At least do something slightly creative. Like instead of just slapping STAR WARS on every jug of milk, at least have that brand make a "blueberry milk" so you have Blue Milk. It's at least something relevant to Star Wars. There's all this "STAR WARS" bottle water floating around. They didn't even put a little Death Star "dish" in the plastic bottle. It's RIGHT THERE, but instead they just put STAR WARS on the label. F for effort. I mean shit, have some veggie company sell carrot sticks as "Life Sticks". At least it's trying to try into Star Wars. At least the Clementines, onions and grapefruit look like mini-death stars. Eh, it's the way of the franchise. Been that way since the beginning.

I'd argue C3PO with a tape dispensing robocock is life altering and mind expanding He also looks like he's taking an oil dump on the refresher Now I'm jelious

The Spaceballs licensed merchandise scene wasn't created in a vaccuum.

This is honestly probably my most looked-forward-to movie of the year, and it's not even really for the movie though I am eager to see it - I'm mostly hyped to get an atmosphere similar to when I saw Force Awakens first showing, where there was a complete flood of people there and any time anyone returning popped up they applauded like crazy. Especially R2-D2, roof blew off the place.

I've not been paying any attention to this. Wanting to go in blind.
Is this the Star Wars, where it turns out Jedi have been on Earth the whole time? Mark Walburg finds a Jedi Night who gives him Merlins staff and Chewbaca gets turned evil and tries to kill the good guys and at the end it's revealed Earth is the Death Star?

I got tickets for a Thursday screening and I'm going dressed as Revan. He has nothing to do with the movie but I wanna represent cool, non-emo Kylo Ren

Can I just say how much I absolutely adore the design of Kylo Ren's TIE fighter? The TIE Silencer looks like it has the wings of a TIE Interceptor with the fuselage of the TIE Advanced/Avenger from the X-Wing/TIE Fighter PC games.

The feeling I got was like seeing old friends you haven’t seen in a long time. I got emotional watching the force awakens for sure

There was an ad I saw a couple of times yesterday for some Nissan car and all it was was ominous filming of the car (nothing new for a car ad), Star Wars music and "see The Last Jedi, in theatres December 15th" flashed at the end. The Bell Canada ads are hilarious since they just have a family being serviced by a Bell rep who travels via Millennium Falcon.
