They should give Hayden a new character. Make him an alien or something. This time, it'll be something well written. That poor guy got too much criticism for the prequels. It wasn't his fault.

To be fair, I'm more than certain Hayden Christensen as Anakin would be in much better hands with Rian Johnson at the helm.

Really glad they've got plans for a lot of movies. The more Star Wars the better. I just love the whole Star Wars world and universe so the more chances to see more of it, more different planets and aliens and characters the better.
I want a Hutt movie. A crime movie about one of the Hutt's rising to power would be great.

I think the criticisms he got were fair, even if Lucas' script and directing were more at fault. The guy still took a horrid script and inept direction and somehow turned in a pair of performances considerably worse than everybody else's. I would like to see him get a chance to redeem himself though. He's far from a bad actor, and has put in more than a few strong performances since ROTS. Hell, I'd even be on board giving him another shot at Anakin in some form or another.

Hell, I'd even be on board giving him another shot at Anakin in some form or another. If they're going to use him as the "half-light/half-dark" force ghost that was in TFA concept art, I think that could be right up his alley. All of his best scenes in the prequels were ones were he said next to nothing. Having him stand there, look threatening, and say a few foreshadowing lines with more than one meaning, I think he could pull that off easily. The dude actually has a pretty good physical prescence. And if you're that worried about his line delivery, just call Matt Lanter from the Clone Wars into the studio to dub him over. Problem solved. Plus, it would be really cool to give Lanter a significant live action, numbered movie role as thanks for all the years of hard work he's put into Star Wars animation. No matter how you do it, Anakin's force ghost has to be in the new trilogy. It would make no sense to have a villain who's as obsessed with the legacy of Darth Vader such as Kylo Ren breaking the galaxy without Anakin's spirit at least attempting to rectify things.

So with Celebration Next Weekend what Surprises do you think we get Obi Wan and Bounty Hunter anthology film announcements, Last Jedi trailer, Original theatrical editions of the original trilogy for the 40th anniversary, another legends character returning in Rebels, title for the next animated series, official release date of the Visceral Star Wars game in the works, confirmation on who Benicio del Toro and Laura Dern are playing in Episode 8. Those are just off the top of my head. Also, this may mean nothing but, the official Star Wars Twitter account is now following both The Rock and Rosario Dawson as of a few days ago. This is the last year for celebration until 2019 so, they're going all out with surprises and announcements.

I don't see The Original edits happening yet.
If you believe rumors Disney and Fox don't feel it's worth it to spend the money. They can just use the SE.
Also do new fans even care about the old versions

Also do new fans even care about the old versions New fans? Fans who were brought in by either the Prequels, the Clone Wars, or Rebels? No. The question is, are there enough older/more hardcore fans demanding it enough to make everyone involved think they can turn a profit on the old versions? I think there are. That's just me, though.

f***. Just let me buy tickets now, please.
I still hope they don't kill of Luke in this one. I love Star Wars, but I'd rather not watch the characters I love die one by one throughout each of the new movies. Certainly when the new characters (Outside of Rey) are pretty "Eh".
But yeah, f*** it. I'm excited and want to fast forward to December.

I knew it. Luke found something that made him question the usefulness of the Jedi.
Also, my lord does that look like a Rian Johnson movie or what? Every intimate shot of characters imaginable.

The beginning orchestra sounded like a mix between The Avengers and Star Wars. Teasing a crossover?

I knew it. Luke found something that made him question the usefulness of the Jedi. Sounded more like he was talking about he was just defeated by the failure of his order. That said even in the original EU Luke was all about changing a lot of the old order's rules... not to mention the things in the EU where the Jedis were massive dicks... like the reason the Sith are pissed at them in the first place.

These Star Wars teasers still give me the chills. It's nice to see they never lost that touch.
