For me the Beatles were good until they got heavy into drugs. Never cared for the White album or SGT Peppers. Were as with the Stones I love pretty much all their albums. LOL....and I've always said that I prefer the Beatles once they started taking drugs. To me, Sgt. Pepper is the greatest album ever written and 40-50 something years later, that album still holds up well and doesn't sound dated. Overall, I like their body of work better than The Rolling Stones, though I will admit that the Stones have one of the most under-rated live albums ever (Stripped).

Definitely The Beatles. I f***ing love the Stones, don't get me wrong, and they're responsible for writing two of my favorite songs of all time. Buuuuuut, I prefer cover versions of those songs. Specifically, Social Distortion's later version of Under My Thumb, and Townes Van Zandt's version of Dead Flowers(Thank you Lebowski.) I can't say I've ever preferred a Beatles cover over the original. I'm pretty much the opposite. I tend to like Beatles covers better than the originals. This might be my favorite cover song of all time: Between these two bands, I'll have to give my nod to The Rolling Stones.

Stones by a large margin.
There are a few songs I like, but I'm not really a big Beatles fan at all.

For me pre-drugs Beatles has this raw sound that I prefer in my rock music.

I can take or leave either, but in terms of influence and legacy it's the Beatles by far.

Age old question. For a long time, The Beatles would have been my sure fire choice. But I've taken a liking to The Rolling Stones in the past year or two, stronger album oriented music in my opinion.

Watch any footage of either band playing live from the 60's and you'll see why I'm in Camp Rolling Stones.

I don't particularly care for either. They're both fine bands, and I respect their legacies, but neither have ever done anything I'd listen to more than once.

This is a trick question. The correct answer is the Kinks.
