All of this weird experimental crap and they can't bring back Pepsi Blue. I can't be the only one who liked it, can I? Based on my experience, yes, yes you are. You freak.

It was alright. Not something I would buy frequently.

I've had it. It's a required tastes but it's not bad. I feel like it's made to be mixed with alcohol drinks. It's amazing with some rum.

Just tried one. It exceeded my expectations. The cola flavor is stronger in this one.

I read an article saying it's basically just a marketing ploy towards hipsters who are into mixing drinks. I've seen articles critical of literally everything where the justification for dismissing something always winds up being "because hipsters/millennials like it". There's a vibe of indignant "How DARE you not adore mass-market corn syrup soft drinks like everyone else" that I always seem to get from articles like that, with the item in question swapped out as needed. I dunno, the hipster label is something that's also being painted with way too broad of a brush anymore, just like how the age range for someone to be considered a millennial seems to keep magically increasing too.

well being fair. In the article I read (which was a while ago) they were less harping on "lolhipsters" and more on "lolmixologists who are ALSO hipsters"
-edit-
It's been a while I read it so I can't remember all the specifics, but it wasn't a critical article. It was mostly talking about how hipster culture is into mixing drinks and this version of Pepsi was made with mixing drinks in mind and is being marketed towards hipsters for lack of a better term.

I bit the bullet and bought one just now. It's not bad. Not all that different from your standard Pepsi but just enough to differentiate itself. I can see why a lot of people would use this in mixed drinks.

I never understood why Crystal Pepsi didn't catch on. I don't know if it would've been a staple brand, but the criticisms always seemed weird to me.
