The Press Democrat believes Colin Kaepernick could be demoted to third string if he doesn’t beat out Blaine Gabbert. Beat writer Grant Cohn says the front office is "tired" of Kaepernick and "wants Gabbert to be the starter." Three years ago, Kaepernick was regarded as one of the best QBs in the league & now he's having to compete with Blaine Effing Gabbert. Granted, Harbaugh was responsible for his stature to be better than what he was capable of doing, but man, talk about a tumble. And, for those who had wanted to go on a Gronkowski cruise... you missed out on your one chance. espn.go.com/blog/buffalo-bills/post/_/id/24590/rob-gronkowskis-party-cruise-might-have-been-one-and-done-eventMan, the stories about this thing. Apparently, Wocka Flocka Flame was pouring cheap liquor through funnels & Mojo Rawley was humping an inflatable palm tree.

Well Kaep's whole skill set is pretty gimmicky. You give defensive coordinators a year and they'll shut that down. It's why stuff like the Wildcat only works in really small doses.

Philly Voice's Jimmy Kempski says to "not be surprised" if No. 2 overall pick Carson Wentz "plays a lot sooner than many are anticipating."

Ray Lewis and Christ Carter are OUT at ESPN, and Sean McDonough is the new play by play guy for Monday Night Football. Those are terrific moves. What kind of bizarro land am I living in?

Randy Moss was pretty good on FOX. I look forward to it, especially over Carter and Lewis.

Can't speak much for Rey Lewis, but Chris Carter did a good job of embarrassing ESPN every chance he got similar to what Warren Sapp did to NFLN

I'll just say he's a complete fraud of a human being and leave it at that

While it would be interesting to see a Las Vegas team, I doubt it would happen. For one, you have the league's hypocritical stance on gambling. Gambling is wrong, unless it's Fanduel of course. Another thing is could the Raiders survive as a 16 road trip team. Sure some locals would show up, but I think a majority of the people who would see LV Raiders games could be tourist, routeing for their team.

You're billionaires. Pay for your own stadiums for f**** sake. Raiders are one of the poorer teams and I believe Davis's personal wealth is far below a billion. The Raiders have also been paying to keep that literal shithole in Oakland playable for years now which has hurt their efforts for a new stadium. The city has screwed them over badly. I believe the Chargers are in a similar situation, it is what made the Rams strong-arming their way out of StL even worse, they hurt the league as a whole on that move.

Ricardo Lockette has decided to retire from the NFL after suffering major neck damage in a 2015 Week 8 game against the Cowboys.

Las Vegas mayor Carolyn Goodman considers the Chargers a viable backup plan if the Raiders opt not to move to Nevada.

Las Vegas mayor Carolyn Goodman considers the Chargers a viable backup plan if the Raiders opt not to move to Nevada. So, befitting Vegas, would they not be the Chargers anymore, since credit cards run out, and become the Las Vegas (Loan) Sharks?
