Yeah, he was always the "largest", not the "tallest". There's multiple dimensions of size to take in with that one.

When you factor in weight, shoe size, reach, fist size, bicep size and other measurements, he is still the largest athlete in the world altogether. Khali and Shaq might be taller, but he outweighs both of them by at least 100lbs.

I dunno guys...I see their "billed weights" on Wikipedia (Shaq at 325 and Show at 450), then I look at that pic of them of them and I'm having a very, very hard time seeing an extra 125 pounds on Show.
50-75 pounds, max. Maybe.

A decent amount of it might be in the legs, but I don't doubt Shaq may be closer than Khali, who has thinner legs than Nash, even.

Maybe. I think Show still has quite a bit of muscle hidden beneath his padding. I know billed weights are mostly BS to make the performers seem even larger than life but I could see where Show would have a 100 pound edge. |

I genuinely laughed at WrestleMania when one of the announcers said something to the effect of "The World's Largest Athlete is face to face with Shaq!" as Shaq is looking down at Big Show.

Maybe. Big Show is allowed to carry more mass than Shaq for Basketball is often a sprint on the court or training and having tons of mass for the sake of it does more harm than good. Plus Big Show has road weight and it had to look more intimidating. Also Khali has some of the weakest worst legs ever while Big Show's legs are well very big. |
