I'm guessing Daniel Day-Lewis will be the latest formerly respected actor to whore themselves out for a Transformers movie I can't wait to see him try to method act a giant transforming robot truck.

After the last one, I'm not going to even bother with this one. The last one was so bad.

We're never getting Unicron are we? As long as Bay is involved in any way, shape, or form I hope not. I know a lot of people hate Bay. I like Michael Bay. But I am so tired of his take on Transformers at the moment. Don't get me wrong I have all of them in my collection, however, Age of Extinction I remember watching it with some co-workers, continually checking my phone, and once it hit the two hour mark I was so not interested in the film that I remember saying out loud "Oh my God, we still haven't even seen the Dinobots yet! Wonderful." To this very day I still haven't watched it since I purchased it on DVD.

There were things I enjoyed about the first movie, but that's as generous as I'll be with praise for those movies. I could go on for hours about the terrible design choices of the Transformers themselves. The insectoid "more organic-looking" piles of shit that are supposed to be Transformers have always looked like grade-A garbage in still frames, and completely indistinguishable and unidentifiable messes when moving. Yeah, I'll be glad when this franchise is rebooted.

I felt at the time that maybe the masses had caught on the stink piling up in the franchise and especially after straying from Shia, Megan Fox and that narrative that this was it's "Jump the shark moment" and though it was, it was handsomely rewarded for it.

I personally did not HATE it, but it's still far from a movie that I liked. I enjoyed some of the action scenes, but it was way too long and then when it hit two hours, I was like "NOW you give us the Dinobots?" Plus, with each movie longer than the last, I wonder if Bay will make this three hours or longer. I hope that is not the case. I am not a Bay hater at all, by the way. I liked both Bad Boys movies, I liked The Rock, I liked The Island, I liked Pain & Gain, and I liked 13 Hours. I didn't mind Armageddon, and I still have not watched Pearl Harbor. However, I am not a big fan of the Transformers films. I enjoyed the first one okay. I did not like the second one at all. I thought the third one was okay. The fourth one was just meh in my opinion.

I liked the original, hated 2 and 3, but thought 4 was enjoyable enough. I might watch it eventually. Josh Duhamel is back as Lennox Nevermind.

I'd prefer a movie spinoff with Robots in Disguise's cast. I love to see a movie based on this: ![](http://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/9/95/MTMTE1_cvrE.jpg) ![](http://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/2/25/MTMTE28_subcvr.jpg)
