I still love how I can't tell who any of the Transformers are if they're not Optimus or Bumblebee. That's really not how the Transformers should be.

Looks legit for the spectacle alone. Tony Hopkins narrating the story of autobot Knights sounds fun.
Wish Marky Mark weren't in it. He really didn't help 4. Hopefully the pattern of odd number TF films being solid flicks (as opposed to the terrible even numbered ones) holds true.

I...actually like what I'm seeing here, and I have not been a fan of the franchise thus far, nor of Bay's oeuvre in general. Not sure I'm getting the "why do humans, especially kid humans, have to be involved?" thing....that's literally the basis of the original cartoon AND comic versions in the '80s.

I'm sure people wouldn't mind the human involvement if the characters weren't mostly annoying sacks of stupid.

Wait... that walking robot Bumblebee tore apart was totally a Gekko from MGS 4. Also, I find it funny how the "main hero turns evil" trope has now been done in two blockbuster movies. I somehow feel Fate of the Furious will have done it way better.

I'm still operating under the theory that Bay is actively trying to get Paramount to fire him, so he made this as crazy and unwatchable as possible.
So it'll probably be a huge hit.

So Bays says the movie is shorter then the last 3 movies.
So maybe around 2 hours and 30 minutes

Hasbro have announced Transformers 6 will be released in summer 2019. I am cool with it as long as Bay is far away from it and we get a film that focuses more on the Transformers and brings in Unicron!

Hasbro have announced Transformers 6 will be released in summer 2019. I literally saw a trailer a day or two ago that ended with "THE FINAL CHAPTER". Just like Pirates, total BS

Or supposed to be, at least. Remember that Bay said he was done with the franchise after the third movie.

Just like Pirates, total BS To be fair, I don't recall Pirates being advertised as the final chapter. Could've sworn they said Dead Men Tell No Tales would be split into two films.

I loved The Rock, Pain and Gain, Bad Boys, Armageddon, and Pearl Harbor is a guilty pleasure and the first Transformers is still a great film to me. But he really needs to step away from the films. They've become longer, hardly any emotion, and you can never tell who is fighting who. If it was up to me Transformers would've been filmed like Cameron's Avatar and they would look like their cartoon counterparts.
