Meh, I've only enjoyed two of his four outings.

I think Ben Affleck would be a good Bond.

Good. He hates playing the role. Also, a new creative direction would be nice, the last one was utter crap.

He was never right for the role, and he's getting too old anyway. Time to recast and move on.

I've not seen Spectre yet and have done a decent job avoiding spoilers, but Quantum was not great. I really liked the other two though, so I would welcome him returning to the role if he wants to. I could also get behind someone else if he doesn't. Everyone who played Bond had at least one good movie in the role (though those that played him in many movies also had some stinkers in there).

Oooh, me likely. Not someone I would have ever thought of but I can completely see it working really well.

I too would rather slit my wrists if they cast an even darker, joyless, and grittier Bond. Someone give Idris Elba a call.

Well that's a shame, I really liked the Daniel Craig Bond. But now I can look forward to the next Bond...Idris Elba!

I originally wanted Henry Cavill to replace Daniel Craig, but he has the stink of Zack Snyder's Superman on him, so that's out. He also might be a bit too lantern jawed for 007. Idris Elba would have made a good Bond, but he's already 43. How many movies are they going to get out of him? Tom Hardy is a good actor too, but he looks a little too rugged, has horrible teeth (has he had them fixed?), and at 5 feet 9 inches, would be the shortest James Bond ever.
Tom Hiddleston would be my choice. He's young, handsome, tall, and oozes charisma.

give him that for the ONE movie ..... the big TWO FIVE ..... but hiddleson would be interesting, he'd play it more as the already suave classical bond! another interesting possibility ..... hiddleson as BONDS FATHER? ? obviously in flashback and not in some wierdo franken blofeld nonsense then you'd have an actual link to the actor ..... give craig what he wants and let the 25th movie finish up the bond parents storyline

His series was a mess.
CR was great
QOS was an awful follow up
Skyfall felt like it was trying to be a mix of Craig's Bond with classic Bond, but his delivery was so bad of the lines that it just never felt right. Its a very bipolar movie.
Spectre, he played the classic Bond well but it just felt like "whatever"

My hope is that with the next actor (Love the idea of Tom Hiddleston), that they bring back the fun and sci-fi elements. Jokes and nifty gadgets, please.

Hasn't he been done as Bond after every one of these movies?

Whoever the replacement is, they need to be no older then their late 30s. Unless you want another Roger Moore situation where the actor is near 60 playing the part.
