Bret Hart bitched about the Screwjob endlessly for 13 years. A lot of the fans seem to believe this even though outside of being asked about it in interviews he has only publicly mentioned it once or twice and one of those times was calling out the WWE for bringing it up in 2003.

Oh yeah, it's THIS thread again. Lemme start: Darren Young and the Prime Time Players did not get pushed because Darren came out as gay. He came out as gay in August 2013 and they didn't win the tag titles until TWO YEARS afterward and they were complete non factors after they did so. He's never been significantly pushed since his coming out, they've never had a big story except their brief split. I was at the Raw in Anaheim after he came out. They were meant to be heels I think at the time but the pop was insane during their entrance.

Hulk Hogan was NOT offered a job playing bass for Metallica, that's ridiculous. It was to play for the reforming Beatles, brother! So not true. The Beatles would not hire Hogan because he has heat with them from the time he body slammed them at Shea Stadium, dude!

Tony Schiavone was a bad announcer.
In actuality, he was great when he had good material. He's ridiculed because he was one of the few guys in WCW who worked hard from 1998-2001 to pretend to get excited about all of the bullshit that he was dealt. A true professional who had the task of legitimizing what was literally the worst wrestling television of all-time. I'll always have respect for him and Tenay.

Marty Janetty did not throw himself through the window. Who are you to doubt Bobby Heenan?

That the Giant MAchine was Andre. Everybody (except Bobby Heenan, obviously) knows that Andre was on suspension at that time so they couldn't have been the same person. It was clearly Giant Baba. Even Jack Tunney said so.

One that a lot of people may disagree with but that I'll always maintain....
X-Pac never had go away heat and therefore the term "X-Pac Heat" is dumb.

When it comes to crowds, I STILL have yet to see someone give a conniving difference between heel heat and X-Pac heat. I think these days with the internet being so prevalent, it's more obvious. For example, if Kevin Owens heels it up in front of smark crowd, he'll get cheered. Eva Marie could just walk out in front of a smark crowd, and she'll get booed.

Also Elias Samson is a heel, but doesn't really do anything heelish to get booed. He just gets booed for existing.

When it comes to crowds, I STILL have yet to see someone give a conniving difference between heel heat and X-Pac heat. The best way I've always seen the difference: Heel Heat: The crowd boos you, no matter their reason. (Doubled since there's also been a lot of times people were claimed to get "X-Pac Heat" all along- witness Vickie Guerrero and JBL in his 2004 reign- ended up being seen as far more amazing in retrospect because you could look back, realize "THEY GOT ME...", and see how great a heel they WERE at the time.) Go-Away Heat: The crowd boos you, even though you are ostensibly a babyface, but they don't suddenly cheer your opponent solely because he's facing you.(And even then, there's ways to change it- like how the John Cena boos slowly went from go-away heat to almost become affectionate in a way.) Bizarro Heat: The crowd boos you, even though you're ostensibly a babyface , AND the crowd also turns your opponent, who is ostensibly a heel, babyface solely because they're fighting you. X-Pac Heat The crowd boos you, even though you're ostensibly a babyface. They turn your opponent face, even though he's a heel, solely because they're fighting you...AND if nothing's going on on shows you're not even booked for, the crowd boos you to pass the time.

Titus teamed with Heath Slater during one of those sabbaticals.

Bo Dallas as NXT champion, vs Bo Dallas as An Inspiration To Us All Basically: Heel heat is booing the bad guy. X-Pac Heat is "Get the f*** off my screen"

Hulk Hogan was the first choice for the Paul McCartney lookalike position before William Campbell was chosen. The clue about "The walrus was Paul" was a reference to Hulk's mustache, you see.
