They should have backstage segments where Adam Pacitti tries to keep Alberto away from Bea Priestly.

Ha. EC3 gives zero f***s about Kurt Angle because "I beat Kurt Angle for a world title".

I've got to say, a lot of us say we could do a great wrestling promotion if we had the money but these guys are actually doing it.
I have a couple of minor criticisms for my own personal tastes - the What Culture guys need to not be on TV. Pacitti is a charisma vacuum, even though the fans seem to like him. The exception is Adam Blampied, who is one of the most natural wrestling heel managers I have ever seen. He really, really gets it.
Also, considering they criticise WWE quite a lot, you would think they'd know not to book so many shows with long talky segments from authority figures. Maybe give the wrestlers more mic time?

I'd actually go as far as say nobody from WhatCulture should be on the shows except in really minor roles like commentators (Because if there's one thing these shows don't need is ALEX SHANE anywhere near the thing), interviewers and match announcements. As much as Blampied is a good heel manager, I feel like he's overshadowing his own talent and it's damn obvious that he's putting himself out there, along with others, because he's booking the shows which should honestly be a thing that bans you from being involved in a wrestling promotion in 2016. Like, did he really need to be in the ring with both Sandow AND Bischoff? And how much money should I bet on him appearing with Del Rio next week at the tapings?

And you are absolutely right, he is really doing exactly what way too many promoters do. Side note, I am watching Stacked at the moment. Just watched the Priestley vs. Newell match and what a clusterf*** it was. That German suplex onto the steel chair was absolutely ridiculous, as was the kick immediately after. At least they actually let the latter end the match.

I don't watch WCPW because Alex Shane is a cancer to British wrestling, however I did happen to see a little clip where talking about some people faking to be Mexican luchadores...on a show with El Ligero because lets remind people that one of the greatest British wrestlers has a silly gimmick, and previously mentioned cancer said "these guys were trained by the great grandfather of Pentagon Jr, the legendary Square senior". As a man who has been called Square for the previous decade (dear god I wasted so much of my life) I will like to claim that I have no relation to Mr Pentagon nor have I trained any grapplers. I am available to hire though.

Why does everyone hate this Alex Shane fella? I don't even know which one he is on the show yet.

This is from a forum post on another place in 2005 that summerizes a lot of the problems people have with Shane. Really not sure if he's done anything else so someone can fill everyone else in.

Going off that Alex Shane post and remembering some lowcard indies here in the states whose website is literally filled with headlines like "Matt hardy wrestled here!", I do like how WCPW does put its UK homegrown talents first during the actual shows, even if most of the 'announcements' are about the former WWE guys
I'm pretty sure the only non UK indy guy to get a title shot is Sandow, but they push guys like Kirby/Ligero/Conners/Hendry and the like so it builds a link with the hometown crowd.
Also the WC guys don't overtake the show as much as people had feared. Blampied/Pacitti are great in their roles and after Month 1 they don't dominate the story.

I see they did the old 'Boooo evil WWE' TNA thing with Alberto, even with hideous rip off Del Rio music.. Fans chanting 'Are you watching Vince McMahon?' lol... I'm sure he's shaking in his boots.

WCPW are doing a show for £5 entry in London on November 9th, in a month where London will host ICW (5th), Rev Pro and New Japan (10th and 11th), Ring of Honor (20th) AND PROGRESS (27th)... and word I heard is that Rev Pro and PROGRESS in particular are NOT happy with them for undercutting the market.

Wrestling is a business not a friendship gathering. WCPW have the business structure where butts in seats is not a key issue for them and there are very VERY vast differences between WCPW and Progress' target audiences. Hell, WCPW's target audience wouldn't even be allowed into a Progress show!

Where did you see it was £5? Seems to say on the Twitter feed it's from £15.
I mean, I don't see the logic on adding another show in November seeing how it's already packed but I'm not a wrestling promoter trying to book in the capital so what do I know?

I can see where they're going with the storyline idea and and why it's happening but did we really need to have a match on the iPPV to be Rampage Brown vs. Adam Blampied?
Like, couldn't they at least have gone with a Damo/Rampage rematch with if Rampage wins, he gets 5 minutes with Adam instead of shoving Damo out of the company storyline wise?
