Executive Producers Man of Action Entertainment, the studio behind Ben 10 and Ultimate Spider-Man, and distributors Dentsu Entertainment and DHX Media have revealed new details about their upcoming Mega Man animated series, including the first look at Mega Man’s new character design for the show.

According to the press release, the new Mega Man series will follow an average young robot named Aki Light. However, Aki has a secret: he has the power to become Mega Man, “the world’s first robot super-hero.” The series will be set in Silicon City and will focus on Aki’s attempts to balance his normal life with his adventures and responsibilities as Mega Man. The show will also feature familiar members of Mega Man’s supporting cast, including his robot dog companion Rush, as well as new characters like Mega Mini.

Design-wise is certainly interesting

Aki Light? Mega Mini? ....... I don't like this already. Why can't we have a Mega Man Legends show? Great premise, cast, villains. Hell can we get Mega Man Legends 3 while I'm thinking about it? What I'm trying to say is I don't think I'll be watching this but things can change.

Capcom's treated The Mega Man franchise like dirt for over the past ten or so years. They even tried to justify their claim of canceling Legends 3 due to lack of fan support and the fanbase called BS on them.
