I will not watch Raw ever again until this is the official theme
and the intro needs to be all the superstars doing the conga train around the ring.
I'm not even joking.

"The Gift Of The Maud Pie": This was definitely a fun episode. The Pinkie Pie/Rarity interactions were great with them working off each other great. There were definitely some very entertaining bits (Rarity's impression of Pinkie Pie, the explaining of "PSSD", the train scene). Definitely makes me look forward to the restaurant episode that features them. Maud also was a highlight by being her usual self with Ingrid Nielsen doing a magnificent job again. I liked the interactions with Boulder the most (with the "stuck-up" jewels, choosing a postcard etc.) but her interactions with Rarity were also very enjoyable to watch (Rarity showing gifts to Maud especially with the reappearance of the Twicane and Smartypants). The story overall flowed nicely with the PSSD a nice overarching plot and also having a nice subplot in Rarity looking for a shop location. Pinkie's quest for the perfect gift for her sister was written really well but not as well as the final arc portraying Maud as somepony who cherishes her sister's happiness over her own gain. And those little smiles she gave at the end...they really do mean more coming from her. The moral "gifts are not a race for superiority, they are meant to be an act of love" was a lovely bookend, too. Manehattan continues to be an interesting location with some new pony designs that however did not leave much of an impression, a small weak spot in an otherwise lovely little episode. 9/10. The TLML Adventures Part 82While Twinkleshine and Minuette were busy preparing with Moondancer for the upcoming amateur field hockey tournament, Lyra and Lemon Hearts took a one-day trip to Manehattan. The main instigator for this trip was Lyra who wanted to trade that weird gold sceptre she found in Ponyville for something more interesting for her weird collection while Lemon Hearts accompanied her for help (though mostly out of guilt ever since she took that sceptre out for a spin literally). The train drive went by without any problems... While in Manehattan, Lyra managed to swap her sceptre for something definitely more weird: an old stuffed donkey doll that somehow looked like a toy that her old friend Twilight used to have. But it could not have been the same. The two spend the rest of the day shopping for things they wanted to bring back home... Later, on the train ride home, Lemon Hearts felt happy that Lyra had found something that appealed to her weird collector's sense and she suddenly found herself freed of her guilt. Hopefully, they could get the others to come to Manehattan next time.

And hey, what's not to like about Rariball? Maud is just bursting out the seams out of happiness here!

229,000 viewers for Appleyak's "Day" Off. Just a little under the 252k last week. Not bad for an episode about steam pipes and farming
