It wasn't a bad episode. Not great, but it was good.

Needs a rewatch as I was a bit distracted, but might be a 7 at least.

I'm split between 5 and 6, I'll be generous and go 6 since they had that much needed, "And that is your right," line from Rarity toward the end. On the whole though a largely irritating episode that felt like it lasted for ages. When it wasn't being annoying it was just boring.

Saved the day with a recipe that reminded the main critic of his childhood?

Final score for Spice up Your Life is... 7.5/10. Probably one of the most effective lesson episodes of season 6, delivering a solid aesop about criticism and the value of unique tastes. Rarity and Pinkie prove once again to be an effective duo and unlike last week the song was both original and well fitting. Also glad to see a return to Canterlot which has fallen a bit on the wayside since the increased focus on Manehattan.

Never really got going for me, unfortunately, but a strong moral nonetheless. 7.

If nothing else atleast I get a little bit of a break from these dickhead streams now. God I miss Haxmega Season 6.. It's been good but has yet to really have that standout episode.

Huh? So Starlight was in this, but she didn't have a single line?

Huh? So Starlight was in this, but she didn't have a single line? Insert "Congratulations Starlight, you're the new background pony" joke here.

Huh? So Starlight was in this, but she didn't have a single line? The whole mane cast was in the opening, but only Spike, Twilight, Rarity and Pinkie had lines

I'll go 7 for now. Nothing too memorable and they wrapped it up kinda quick, but the moral was good.
