KICKOFF MATCH - WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS MATCH - THE USOS © vs. RYBAXEL vs. LOS MATADORES vs. THE REAL AMERICANS; The crowd at the Superdome was loud for this as they were ready for some action. The Real Americans and The Usos were especially over. It was announced that this match would be contested under elimination rules, which made it more fun. The match opened with back and forth action, but a huge highlight came when Cesaro and Diego were the legal men. Cesaro knocked him down with a backbreaker and signaled for the Cesaro swing but Fernando ran in to help his partner. Cesaro met him with an uppercut and Fernando landed on top of Diego. Cesaro grabbed both of their legs and performed the Cesaro Swing on them as the crowd popped loudly and counted to eight. Cesaro roared before tagging in Jack Swagger, who put Diego in the Patriot Lock for the submission elimination. Curtis Axel ran in next and went at it with Swagger until Swagger made the tag to Jey Uso. Axel paid tribute to his dad with a Perfect-Plex but Jimmy broke the count. Things got out of hand shortly after as everyone got involved. Rybaxel ended up brawling with the Real Americans outside which led the Usos to hit dual splashes to the outside, causing JBL to shout “WE GOT US SOME FLYING USOS!” Shortly after, a splash from Jey onto Ryback eliminated Rybaxel. The two most over teams in the match were left and the crowd was nearly split. Swagger and Cesaro cut the ring in half as they worked over Jey Uso. They used a few double team moves for near falls but the Usos stayed alive. A Samoan drop from out of nowhere stopped the momentum of the Real Americans. Jey made the hot tag to Jimmy, while Cesaro tagged Swagger. Jimmy was on fire as The Usos was now on the verge of victory. A superkick that knocked Cesaro off the apron set up the finish. Swagger got to feet and was met with a superkick from each Uso, followed by a double superkick that ended the match. The Usos are still WWE Tag Team Champions!
To the sound of "Celebrate" by Kid Rock, a video package airs that shows a series of clips from the past twenty-nine WrestleManias, picking out some of the greatest moments in WWE history, such as The Rock's bout with Hulk Hogan, the Undertaker's clashes with Shawn Michaels and Triple H, Hulk Hogan body-slamming André the Giant, the Ultimate Warrior capturing the WWE Championship and many more. But tonight, the spotlight is on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and the question is - can Daniel Bryan do the unthinkable and not only defeat Triple H, but pick up the biggest victory of his career over Randy Orton and Batista too, all in the same night? After speedily flicking through several stills from WrestleMania past, the package finally ends on the WrestleMania XXX logo and fades to black. Pyrotechnics explode from the incredible WrestleMania stage as the New Orleans crowd erupt, ready to witness history in the making as the thirtieth WrestleMania gets under way. We got to ringside where Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and John 'Bradshaw' Layfield are sat on commentary, excited for the night ahead. The big story they discuss is Daniel Bryan and the odds that are stacked against him. We are told that tonight, the show will open up with the match that will determine who will enter the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match in tonight's Main Event as Daniel Bryan goes one-on-one with the COO of the WWE, Triple H. A video package highlighting the past eight months of torture that Bryan has suffered at the hands of Triple H and the Authority. But now is his chance at retribution, if he can only make it past his biggest challenge yet. WINNER JOINS THE MAIN EVENT - DANIEL BRYAN vs. TRIPLE H; In an egotistical show of superiority, Triple H makes a grand entrance wearing a medieval king's outfit and sitting atop a golden throne. He stands and removes the gold-plated helmet to reveal a sinister stare. Accompanied to the ring by Stephanie McMahon, he makes his way down the ramp and meets Daniel Bryan, ready to put him away for good. Locking up for the first time, Triple H used his clear strength advantage to ground Bryan with a headlock takedown. Bryan managed to fight out and send Triple H reeling with some signature kicks to the legs and mid-section. The Game saw he was in trouble and quickly hopped out of the ring into Stephanie's arms as she begins tending to him. Bryan doesn't let him get very far, bouncing off the ropes and leaping out with an impressive suicide dive. Luckily for her, Stephanie jumps out of the way, Triple H taking the full force and colliding with the barricade alongside Bryan. Bryan pulls the Game to his feet and tries to get him back in the ring, but Triple H turns the tables and throws Bryan injured shoulder first into the steel steps, causing him to scream in agony. Triple H rolls him back into the ring and begins working over the arm, trying to hurt Bryan more than beat him. He drags him into the corner and lifts him onto the top, following him up. The crowd gets louder as both men are on the top rope. Bryan begins to fight back with forearms, eventually sending the Game crashing down to the canvas. Bryan stand up on the top rope and raises both hands to the sky before leaping off - diving headbutt! He connects and covers Triple H, but the Game kicks out at two. Bryan rushes over to the corner and starts to rally up the crowd with "Yes!" chants, preparing for the running knee, but Triple H ducks! As Bryan gets back to his feet, he is kicked in the gut and Triple H hits a Pedigree! 1 - 2 - Bryan kicks out! Triple H can'ts believe it and picks Bryan up for a second, only to be dragged to the canvas and locked into the Yes! Lock. He struggles to crawl to the ropes but he eventually does and Bryan picks him up, trying to lock it in again, but Triple H goes for another Pedigree attempt. Bryan throws him over his head with a big back body drop and runs to the corner - Busaiku Knee! He nails Triple H as Stephanie looks on screaming, the referee counting the three! Daniel Bryan defeats Triple H and will now enter the main event!
The Game rolls out of the ring into the arms of Stephanie McMahon as they look back into the ring in disbelief. Daniel Bryan chants his signature "Yes!" along with the seventy-thousand plus fans in the Superdome as his place in the main event is now solidified. Much to the Authority's dismay, Daniel Bryan will be in the running to becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion. But can he overcome the odds and win yet another match, not to mention that his opponents are two of the biggest stars in the WWE, Randy Orton and Batista. The odds are still stacked against him, but it's safe to say the he has the entire WWE Universe at his side.
THE SHIELD vs. KANE & THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS; "Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo, Lima, Delta, Shield." The sound of those words brought the WWE Universe to their feet as Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins marched through the sea of WrestleMania attendees. Following that, the trio of Kane and The New Age Outlaws made their way down to the ring, prepared to deliver their own brand of justice in the name of The Authority. The bell sounded as Roman Reigns and Road Dogg started things off. Road Dogg whipped Reigns into the ropes, but was met with a huge shoulder tackle. He crawled towards his corner, making the tag to the other half of The New Age Outlaws. "You're kidding me," said Billy Gunn as he was forced to take over for his partner. When Gunn turned around, Dean Ambrose launched himself into him, taking him down and striking repeatedly. Gunn rolled out of the ring, calling over Road Dogg and Kane. As the three of them huddled up, Ambrose made the tag to Seth Rollins. The "Architect of The Shield" leaped over the top rope, landing on all three Authority members! Rollins rolled Gunn back into the ring, covering him for a count of two. The Shield isolated Gunn in their corner, making several tags while beating him down in the corner. Ambrose whipped Gunn into a corner, charging towards him, but only to be met with a boot. Gunn tagged in Kane, who grabbed Ambrose for a Chokeslam. Rollins intervened by climbing onto the top rope, coming down with a knee to the side of Kane's head. The "Big Red Monster" stumbled into his corner, allowing Road Dogg to tag himself in. He found himself in a pinning predicament at the hands of Ambrose, but was able to kick out. Ambrose made the tag to Reigns, who dodged a clothesline from Road Dogg and delivered a Spear! He got the cover, but Billy Gunn managed to break up the pin attempt. Ambrose and Rollins rushed into the ring, taking the fight to Gunn before hitting him with a double suplex. Kane climbed onto the ring apron, but Reigns hit him with a Superman Punch! Reigns then let out his signature primal scream while Ambrose brought Gunn into the center of the ring. They then turned their attention to Road Dogg, delivering a Triple Powerbomb onto the motionless body of Billy Gunn! Reigns covered Road Dogg to pick up the victory for the "Hounds of Justice!" The Shield defeats Kane & The New Age Outlaws! ANDRÉ THE GIANT MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYAL; Twenty-nine of the entrants arrived in the ring, all ready to compete for the prestigious award of becoming the first holder of the André the Giant Memorial Trophy. Tyson Kidd and the Bulgarian brute, Alexander Rusev had been added to the mix as unannounced entrants, but one more spot remained. The Big Show was the last man to make his entrance before the final unannounced entrant was set to appear, and it was none other than former World Champion - Rob Van Dam! With all thirty men in the ring, the action began and quickly, the numbers began to dwindle. Raw General Manager, Brad Maddox was the first man eliminated, followed by Zack Ryder. The Great Khali began swiping superstars down left and right, but failed to eliminate anyone. He found himself outnumbered and was tipped over the top rope by 3MB. Titus O'Neil eliminated his former tag team partner, Darren Young while Cody Rhodes and Goldust disposed of Brodus Clay. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd reunited their tag team and eliminated David Otunga, but they were quickly thrown out themselves by the Big Show. Big Show found himself on an elimination streak, next throwing Damien Sandow over the ropes, and then Fandango. Sheamus got a hold of The Miz and hit his signature chest chops before shoving Miz off the apron, eliminating him. Rey Mysterio got himself an elimination when he launched Jinder Mahal out with a hurricanrana. Mahal's 3MB teammates, Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre try to get revenge, but they are dumped over the top rope by the Intercontinental Champion, Big E Langston. With the ring a bit emptier, Big E comes face-to-face with Alexander Rusev. The crowd cheer as they begin to trade blows, and eventually, Rusev somehow manages to throw Langston over the top and out of the match! Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio hooked it up, but ended up eliminating themselves as they tumbled from the top rope. Mark Henry tried to eliminate Kofi Kingston by throwing him over the ropes, but he was caught by Big E Langston who had just got back to his feet. Kingston told Langston to throw him back in, and after some thought, he does, keeping Kingston alive! But he is quickly eliminated shortly after by Alexender Rusev, a clothesline taking him over the top. Xavier Woods and R-Truth find themselves eliminated at the hands of the World's Largest Athlete. Titus O'Neil tries to toss Big Show over himself, but he too is thrown over the top rope and out of here. Meanwyile, Dolph Ziggler does battle with Alberto Del Rio, returning to their feud of last year. Del Rio throws Ziggler out, but Ziggler hangs on. Del Rio then turns his attention to Cody Rhodes, he has him on the apron when Goldust runs in for the save, but Del Rio moves and he knocks Cody off the apron, just like at the Royal Rumble! Del Rio capitalizes and tosses Goldust over soon after. Del Rio taunts, boasting his intelligence, but then he his hit from behind by a dropkick from Rob Van Dam and Del Rio goes flying over the top rope! RVD gets his revenge from last year when Del Rio took him out! Rob Van Dam, Alexander Rusev, Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Mark Henry and the Big Show remain. RVD and Ziggler go after Rusev while Sheamus and Mark Henry take Big Show. Big Show managed to fight Sheamus off and ended up throwing Mark Henry over the top to the amazement of the WWE Universe. On the opposite side of the ring, Rusev tosses RVD and Ziggler over the ropes, but they both manage to hang on. Rusev steps into the center of the ring and comes face-to-face with the Big Show, yet another epic confrontation. Rusev wastes no time and tackles Show against the ropes, and the crowd look on in awe as the Bulgarian brute throws Big Show over the top rope as if he weighed no more than 200 pounds! Rusev screams as Big Show stands on the outside in amazement. Rusev looks out and starts screaming in Bulgarian to Big Show, but his celebration may have cost him as Sheamus, Rob Van Dam and Dolph Ziggler throw him over the top and down to the floor! Lana can't believe it and neither can Rusev. Even Big Show gives a smirk as he leaves ringside. The final three remain. They have a brilliant three-way exchange before Rob Van Dam is thrown over the top by Ziggler. Ziggler turns around and Sheamus goes for a Brogue Kick, but Ziggle ducks - Brogue Kick to RVD! RVD falls to the arena floor, eliminated from the match. As Sheamus is hung up on the top rope, Ziggler comes from behind and tips him over, solidifying his victory! Dolph Ziggler wins the first ever André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal!
Ziggler falls into the center of the ring with his arms up high. The WWE Universe erupt as he is delcared the winner, Sheamus and Rob Van Dam looking on from the outside. After coming to terms with their loss, they smile and applaud Ziggler as he is handed the large trophy by two referees. Ziggler manages to lift it over his head and celebrate his monumental victory, becoming the first ever holder of the André the Giant Memorial trophy!
Justin Roberts tells the WWE Universe to welcome the host of WrestleMania XXX, Hulk Hogan. Hogan comes out to a thunderous ovation as he gets in the ring and does his signature taunts. He stares in awe at the packed house before starting to speak. Hogan says that it is an honor and a privilege to host the 30th anniversary of WrestleMania and it feels like yesterday when he teamed with Mr. T to defeat Roddy Piper and Mr. Wonderful. He says that over 30 years we’ve seen incredible things, from him slamming Andre The Giant to the Ladder match that changed everything to The Undertaker’s amazing streak and everything in between. He just came out here to wish everyone a good time and to continue to enjoy the show. He goes to leave but glass shatters and the crowd goes wild as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin walks down to the ring. He poses on all four corners before grabbing a microphone. Austin gets in Hogan’s face and says that this is something people have been clamoring to see for years. He said that normally, he’d come in the ring, open a can of whoop ass on whoever’s in the ring, drink some Steveweisers and leave. However, he respects Hogan too much for that and he shakes his hand. Austin says that he couldn’t pass up the chance to stand side by side with the Immortal One and promote tonight’s amazing show. The Rock’s theme hits, the crowd goes nuts again and he joins Austin and Hogan in the ring. The Rock says “Finally, the Rock, Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin have come back to WrestleMania.” The Rock says that when he saw the two biggest names in the history of this sport sharing a ring, he had to come out and enjoy it. He says that it’s an honor to stand with greatness, even though he beat both of them at WrestleMania, which gets a laugh from everyone. The Rock says that in all seriousness, he wants to thank Hogan and Austin for what they did for the business, which allows things like WrestleMania XXX to happen. Austin says that he’s never been one for this “feelings” stuff but he appreciates it and says they should have some Steveweisers and let the current crop of WWE Superstars do their thing, “and that’s the bottom line ‘cause Stone Cold said so.” The Rock smiles and ends with “If ya smell what the Rock is cooking”, before Hogan closes it all with “and whatcha’ gonna do, when The Rock, Stone Cold, Hulkamania and WrestleMania XXX run wild on you?” The three men toast each other, share beers and leave to a massive reaction from the WWE Universe.
JOHN CENA vs. BRAY WYATT; "New Orleans.....we're here!" After the declaration from Bray Wyatt, a live rendition of "Broken Out in Love" hit, the band members all sporting lamb masks. Bray Wyatt made his way out into the arena, flanked by Erick Rowan and Luke Harper as usual. After the "Eater of Worlds" was settled in the ring, John Cena marched out to a mixed response from the Superdome. After weeks of mind games on the part of Wyatt, Cena was ready to defend his legacy. The opening bell sounded as the two locked up, Wyatt ramming Cena into a corner. He delivered several hard elbow shots to the side of his head before the official forced him away. Cena charged towards Wyatt with a clothesline, delivering repeated right and left hand strikes on the canvas. Wyatt rolled out of the ring as Cena went after him. Harper and Rowan stood behind Cena, catching his attention for a moment. He then charged towards Wyatt, who delivered a drop toe hold that sent Cena face first into the steel steps. With Cena motionless on the ground, Wyatt delivered a Running Senton before placing him back into the ring for a two count. Wyatt picked up Cena, going for a Urinagi. Cena countered it and managed to plant Wyatt with a Suplex. Cena raised his hand in the air, telling Wyatt, "You can't see me!" As he was running the ropes, Wyatt lifted himself into a crab walk position! Cena stopped in his tracks, staring in shock and horror at Wyatt. The leader of The Wyatt Family turned over and charged at Cena, splashing him in the corner. Wyatt then picked Cena up off of the canvas, dancing with his body. Cena, however, fought back as he and Wyatt traded headbutts. Cena was able to get the better of Wyatt, hoisting him up to his shoulders and delivering the Attitude Adjustment! Cena got the cover with the hook of the leg, but Wyatt managed to kick out! Cena's facial expression told the entire story as he began to ask himself just what does he have to do put Wyatt away. Cena took another opportunity to hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but this time, Wyatt hit Cena like a truck with a Running Crossbody! Wyatt covered Cena, but couldn't get the victory just yet. Wyatt walked towards a corner, hanging his head upside down as he stared at Cena. He attempted another corner splash, but Cena got a leg up in time. He climbed onto the top rope, looking to drop a leg across the back of Wyatt's head. However, Cena noticed Harper and Rowan at ringside and decided to leap onto them instead. Cena rolled back into the ring, only to be caught with a boot to his face. Wyatt placed Cena in position for Sister Abigail, successfully hitting the maneuver. Wyatt got the cover, but Cena kicked out at two! "Why are you doing this to me, Abigail?! Why?!" screamed Wyatt before staring back at Cena with his eyes wide open. Wyatt attempted to hit Sister Abigail one more time, but Cena countered it into an STF! Cena applied the hold with all of his strength as Rowan stepped onto the ring apron, distracting the official. At that moment, Harper slid into the ring with a steel chair. Before he could strike Cena with it, he was planted with an Attitude Adjustment. However, Bray Wyatt capitalized on the situation, delivering Sister Abigail onto the chair! The official turned his attention back to the action, making the three count that not only solidified Wyatt's legacy, but destroyed Cena's. Bray Wyatt defeats John Cena!
John Cena lay unconscious on the canvas as Wyatt sat beside his motionless body with a sadistic grin on his face. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan enter the ring to stand alongside their messiah and he gets on his knees, spreading his arms out wide and screaming "The lies are over! The new world has arrived!". Bray Wyatt has conquered John Cena and his legacy, but what is next for the self-proclaimed "eater of worlds"? And more importantly, what does this mean for John Cena?
A video package aired for the WWE Hall of Fame: Class of 2014, showcasing the inductees and the speeches from last night. Jake 'The Snake' Roberts, Lita, Paul Bearer, Mr. T, Razor Ramon, Carlos Colón and the Ultimate Warrior - all immortalized forevermore. After the package ends, the inductees make their way onto the stage, Paul Bearer represented by his two sons, Michael and Daniel. They wave to the crowd and finally, the theme of the Ultimate Warrior hits as he makes his way out onto the stage as the headlining inductee. He waves to the WWE Universe with an emotional expression on his face. Last night, he promised that there is more to come for him and the WWE, but what that will be, nobody knows. THE UNDERTAKER vs. BROCK LESNAR; The beast incarnate, Brock Lesnar and his advocate, Paul Heyman make their way down to the ring with the sole intention of breaking the Undertaker's illustrious twenty-one year WrestleMania streak. As he and Heyman stand side-by-side in the ring, the gong hits and the lights go out to a thunderous response from the New Orleans crowd. The WWE Universe are stunned as a familiar voice screeches "Oooooh yeeeeeesssss!" and they erupt into cheers. Before their very eyes, the late, great, recently inducted WWE Hall of Famer, Paul Bearer walks out onto the stage. The legendary manager walks out into the center of the stage and seemingly raises the urn above his head and the lights begin to flicker, but so does the image of Paul Bearer. Paul Bearer flickers in and out and eventually, he disappears and the lights go pitch black. Another gong hits and the Undertaker's theme plays, before the Phenom himself rises from beneath the stage in the same spot that the hologram of Paul Bearer stood. In awe of this spectacular entrance, the WWE Universe chant his name as the legendary Deadman makes his way to the ring. Upon entering the ring, he and Brock Lesnar come face-to-face, mere inches from each other. Undertaker throws the first punch, sending Lesnar reeling into the corner. He unloads a series of hard hits that only the Undertaker could deliver, Paul Heyman screaming at the referee to get him away. The referee tries to pry Undertaker away from Lesnar, but he turns around with an intimidating stare, sending the referee running for his health. As Undertaker turns back around, he is floored by a vicious clothesline, courtesy of the beast incarnate. Lesnar begins to beat down on Undertaker with fury, clubbing blows to the spine and then throwing Undertaker into the corner before driving his shoulder into his gut over and over again. Lesnar pulls Undertaker out and lifts him up for an F-5, but Undertaker slides off, grabs his throat and plants him with a Chokeslam! He covers Lesnar, but Lesnar kicks out at two. Undertaker picks Lesnar up, twists his arm and goes up top for the signature Old School. Lesnar pulls him off and catches the Phenom on his shoulders - F-5! He covers Undertaker - 1 - 2 - kick out! Undertaker survives the F-5! Lesnar can't believe it and goes to pick Undertaker up for a second, but Undertaker instead drags Brock to the ground and locks in Hell's Gate. Lesnar struggles to escape the hold, but uses his brute force to lift the Undertaker up and send him crashing back down to the canvas, both men laying out, having used all their efforts. They both climb to their feet and begin trading right hands, but Lesnar misses one and finds himself turned upside down - Tombstone Piledriver! 1 - 2 - kick out! Brock has survived the Tombstone! Can either man put the other away? Undertaker does his "cut throat" taunt and Lesnar stumbles to his feet, Heyman screaming "Look out!" as he spins around. Undertaker turns him upside down again, but Lesnar slips off and turns the tables, lifting the Phenom into a Tombstone position. He throws him up onto his shoulder - a second F-5! He hooks the Deadman's leg and the hearts of the crowd are in their throat - 1 - 2 - kick out! There's more fight in the Undertaker yet! Lesnar screams with rage and Heyman shouts "Finish it, Brock!". Brock picks Undertaker up and onto his shoulders, preparing a third F-5 - and he hits it! The crowd look on in horror as Brock Lesnar hooks the leg and scores the pinfall that nobody else has ever been able to secure in the thirty year history of WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar defeats The Undertaker and the streak is over!
The WWE Universe watch in complete silence as Paul Heyman begins to scream "Oh my god!" and even Lesnar's expression is one of disbelief. The camera cuts around the crowd at the members of the WWE Universe who's faces are open-mouthed and simply stunned. Silence is all the way around the Superdome and minutes pass before Brock Lesnar's theme hits and he is officially declared the victory by Justin Roberts. Michael Cole reluctantly says "The streak... is over" as the Undertaker lays motionless in the center of the ring. Brock Lesnar leaves with a smug grin on his face, Heyman by his side to an incredible amount of boos. As Lesnar and Heyman disappear up the ramp, Undertaker sits up and Lesnar's theme cuts off. He climbs back to his feet and the crowd begin a "Thank you, 'Taker!" chant as he looks on, almost brought to tears. "Is this the end of the Deadman?" asks Jerry Lawler, and quite honestly, nobody but the Deadman himself knows the answer to that question... VICKIE GUERRERO DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP INVITATIONAL - AJ LEE © DEFENDS; All fourteen Divas began this match in the ring and they all went straight for AJ Lee once the bell rang. Tamina, however, chose to defend her friend as she tossed a few Divas to the side. The numbers game turned on her though as she also fell victim. Both AJ and Tamina were knocked to the outside which allowed the rest of the Divas to do battle in the ring. The cast of Total Divas got the most shine as they all were allowed to knock out the non-Total Divas. The Bella Twins showed the most as they hit side by side suicide dives onto the Divas outside. They got back in the ring and went at it until it was broke up by a superkick from Tamina onto Nikki. A flurry of finish maneuvers followed as Brie hit the Bella Buster on Tamina, followed by Alicia Fox nailing her with a Scissors Kick and Eva Marie hitting Fox with a cross body. Rosa Mendes hit Eva with a neckbreaker, then Emma came in and sent Rosa into the corner. She connected with the Emma Sandwich, but turned around into the Rear View from Naomi. Naomi was hit with a roundhouse kick from Layla before Layla was nailed with a spinning heel kick from Summer Rae. Summer danced for a bit to a pop, before Cameron rushed in and hit the Girl Bye. She covered but only got a near fall as Tamina broke it up. Tamina hit a Samoan drop but before she could cover, AJ Lee got back in the ring and told Tamina to let her get the pin. Tamina contemplated it before hitting the Divas Champion with a headbutt. Before she could get the pin, Nikki Bella got back in and, in a surprising show of strength, hit Tamina with the Rack Attack. Nikki went for the cover but AJ broke it up by dropkicking Nikki. Brie Bella got in and charged at AJ but was locked into the Black Widow and was forced to tap out. AJ Lee is still Divas Champion!
WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - RANDY ORTON © vs. BATISTA vs. DANIEL BRYAN; After months of playing the victim to The Authority's tactics, Daniel Bryan found himself one three count away from becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Standing in his way, however, was the current champion, as well as the 2014 Royal Rumble winner. As Bryan stood across the ring from Orton and Batista, over 70,000 members of the WWE Universe chanted, "Yes!" in unison. When the bell sounded, Bryan went after the both of them with elbows and kicks. He had the upper hand for a few seconds before catching a kick to the mid-section from Orton, followed by a Clothesline from Batista. "The Animal" tossed Bryan out of the ring, telling Orton, "You and me, let's go." The audience booed as Batista and Orton traded blows, showing their disapproval for the scene. However, Bryan springboarded off of the top rope and caught the both of them with a Dropkick! Orton and Batista rolled out of the ring as Bryan delivered a Suicide Dive onto them! On the outside, Bryan hit Orton and Batista with kicks to the chest, the crowd shouting, "Yes!" with each kick. He then delivered two Roundhouse Kicks before rolling Orton back into the ring. Bryan managed to get the cover on the reigning and defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion for a count of two. Bryan struck away on Orton with several elbows, but Batista pulled him out of the ring and tossed him shoulder-first into the steel steps. Batista covered Orton himself, but didn't receive much different results than Bryan. He placed Orton in a corner, thrusting his shoulder into him repeatedly. Batista stepped onto the second rope, delivering several shots to the skull of "The Viper." Bryan soon ascended up to the top rope, interrupting Batista's sequence with a Sunset Flip! Bryan got the cover on Batista, but Orton was able to break it up. Bryan fought back against Orton, forcing him against a corner. Bryan hit Orton and Batista with several corner dropkicks before Orton groggily rolled out of the ring. Batista stumbled onto the canvas as Bryan began to pump his index fingers in the air, calling for a Busaiku Knee. However, the complexion of the match and crowd reaction changed as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon began to walk down to ringside. As Bryan was attempting to deliver the knee, Batista caught him with a Spear. Unfortunately for "The Animal," he only garnered a two count. "Come one, Dave. Get the job done," said Triple H as Batista set Bryan up for the Batista Bomb. Bryan was able to counter it into a DDT, however. Rather than going for the cover, Bryan ran the ropes and hit Triple H with a Suicide Dive! Before Bryan could get back into the ring, out of nowhere came Kane! The Director of Operations hit Bryan with a Big Boot before dismantling the surface of the Spanish announce table. "Send him to hell, Kane!" shouted Stephanie as the "Big Red Monster" picked Bryan up off of the floor. Before his assault could continue, Kane was drilled with a Spear from Roman Reigns! Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins stood behind him as The Shield had intervened on Bryan's behalf! The WWE Universe erupted as the "Hounds of Justice" set Kane up, delivering a Triple Powerbomb through the announce table! The enraged Stephanie approached the three of them, shouting and screaming at them. She then delivered a slap across the face of Reigns! "Get away from my sight! Get out of my stadium! Get out of my WrestleMania!" yelled one of the Principal Owners of WWE. Reigns then placed Stephanie over his shoulder as he and the rest of The Shield escorted her up the entrance ramp! "Put me down! I am a McMahon, dammit! I own this place!" she screamed and cried as the audience began to sing her a sarcastic goodbye. Back in the ring, Orton and Batista stumbled to their feet as the defending champion hit an RKO! He covered Batista, but it was broken up with a Diving Headbutt from Bryan. He then applied the Yes Lock onto Orton, looking for the submission victory. At that moment, Triple H slid into the ring with a sledgehammer in his possession. Bryan acted quickly, however, and caught the COO with a low blow! Bryan picked up the sledgehammer, striking Triple H with it! Orton turned Bryan around, attempting an RKO. Bryan shoved Orton into Batista, who delivered a Spinebuster to the champion. Immediately following that, Bryan drilled Batista with the Busaiku Knee! Seconds later, the Yes Lock was in on "The Animal!" Batista fought the pain for as long as he could before giving in and submitting to Daniel Bryan and the Yes Movement! Daniel Bryan is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion!
"Deafening" is the only word to describe the reaction in the Superdome, Daniel Bryan having overcome all the odds, stuck it to the Authority and become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion after eight months of torture and torment. Randy Orton looked on from the outside in shock as he saw Bryan handed the two title belts that previously belonged to him. Batista rolls out of the ring, holding his arm in pain. Triple H comes to as well and realizes what has happened, safe to say, his face was as white as a ghost. Bryan pumped the titles into the air to the simultaneous "Yes!" chants from the New Orleans crowd. Daniel Bryan had done it, and WrestleMania XXX will forever be remembered as the night than Daniel Bryan finally got his fairy-tale ending.

Monday Night Raw: April 7th, 2014 - New Orleans Arena, New Orleans, Louisiana
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I wanna celebrate" plays through our speakers as a video package highlighting the fantastic night twenty-four hours ago that was WrestleMania XXX. We see quick clips of Daniel Bryan defeating Triple H, Bray Wyatt defeating John Cena, Brock Lesnar defeating the Undertaker and Daniel Bryan beating Randy Orton and Batista to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The package closes on a clip of Bryan pumping the two title belts in the air as the crowd chant "Yes!". Monday Night Raw opens up to the sound of Daniel Bryan's theme, creating an unbelievable buzz in the New Orleans Arena. The new WWE World Heavyweight Champion bounds his way out onto the stage with his title in both hands, raising them into the sky with a grin on his face like no other. "There is a man who as overcome unbelievable odds to get here" Michael Cole reminds us as he sidesteps his way to the ring, shouting "Yes!" along with the WWE Universe. As he enters the ring, he becomes slightly overwhelmed with the response and can't help but grin and shake his head as he rests the titles over his shoulders. Grabbing a microphone from ringside, Daniel Bryan begins to speak. "Eight months. This is the moment I have fought eight months for, right here". The WWE Universe cheer as he looks around the arena, seeing all the happy faces chanting the now-iconic word. Explaining how he has overcome all the odds, like he said he would, he says how good it feels to have finally beaten the Authority and captured the title he has sought after for so long. Bryan doesn't sell short his opponents, saying that he knew it wouldn't be easy, he knew that when it came down to it, he was going to have to go through hell to get here - but he's done it. "These titles represent everything I have worked for my entire life, everything I have dreamed off and fought for" says Bryan, the emotions clearly written all over his face. But Bryan's celebrations were about to be cut short, much to the dismay of the WWE Universe. Orange lights fill the arena as the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton comes out onto the stage, microphone in hand to an incredible amount of boos. "You think that you're just going to walk away from this like it never happened?" asks Orton, as Bryan looks on with a very different expression. Orton explains that Daniel Bryan's victory will forever be tainted by the fact that he was never even meant to be in the main event of WrestleMania in the first place. He "cheated" his way in, according to Orton, and that is why this victory means absolutely nothing. Reminding everyone that he was not pinned and didn't submit at WrestleMania, he tells Bryan that it's a matter of time before he crushes Bryan's dreams and brings him back down to reality - a reality that is where he is still a "nobody", and Randy Orton is on top of the world. Orton informs Daniel Bryan that he will be cashing in his rematch clause - tonight! The WWE Universe aren't sure how to react as Bryan looks on, unsure himself. "I earned my way into that match, Randy, and you know it" declares Bryan. He then says that if Orton wants to cash in his rematch clause tonight, then he won't back down from a fight. If it's another victory he needs to prove that he is a deserving WWE World Heavyweight Champion, then that's what he'll do. Bryan says that if Orton wants a bit of extra persuasion as to why he deserves to be the Champion, "just listen to this". He pumps the titles into the air and in unison, the New Orleans crowd chant "Yes!" at the top of their lungs. Orton looks around with a scowl as Bryan's theme begins to play. The two rivals stare down from the ramp to the ring as we are told by Michael Cole that tonight, we will see Daniel Bryan defend his newly won WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the former Champion, Randy Orton!
Returning from a commercial break, we are shown the above graphic and told by Michael Cole that Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are indeed in the building. We will hear from Brock Lesnar just twenty-four hours after he did the unthinkable and conquered the Undertaker's impressive WrestleMania Streak, ending over two decades of accomplishments by the Deadman. What will the "best incarnate" have to say when he addresses the WWE Universe and speaks about his monumental achievement? #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH - THE REAL AMERICANS vs. LOS MATADORES vs. RYBAXEL; The two-hour WrestleMania XXX Kickoff Show was one you wouldn't have wanted to miss as it aired live on the WWE Network, the first of its kind to do so. It saw the highly entertaining Fatal 4-Way Elimination Tag Team Match for The Uso's WWE Tag Team Championships, but when it came down to it, it was the Samoan twins that walked out with their titles still intact. Tonight on Raw, the three teams that came up short have their chance to go after the titles one more time as they compete for number one contendership. With The Usos on commentary, the three teams went at it with everything they had. Swagger and Diego kicked things off, going back and forth until Ryback added himself into the mix by tagging Swagger. Ryback exploded in, taking the competition down and even taking out Fernando as he tried to intervene. However, Cesaro got himself into the match and took Ryback down, and the WWE Universe were pleading with him to do the Cesaro Swing. He grabbed the legs of the near three-hundred pound Ryback and swung him around over and over again at least ten times before releasing him. Cesaro stumbled around, dizzy from the swing, but as Los Matadores ran towards him, he ducked and Swagger pulled down the ropes, sending both Matadores flying to the arena floor. Curtis Axel grabbed Cesaro and prepared for the Perfect Plex, but Swagger intervened, throwing both himself and Axel over the ropes. Meanwhile, Ryback had got back to his feet, and set up for a Meat Hook Clothesline, but Cesaro countered, throwing Ryback into the air - Very European Uppercut as the crowd erupt! He quickly picks Ryback back up, cracks his neck and then plants him wwith the Neautraliser, hooking the leg and taking the victory. The Real Americans are the number one contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships! The Real Americans celebrate and Zeb Colter is elated. The Usos stand up from commentary with their titles and applaud their opponents and nod their heads, knowing that soon, they would clash. Cesaro was about to reach through the ropes to shake one of the Uso's hands, but Swagger pulled him back and started trash-talking them instead. The Usos walked away as Swagger made sure they knew he was serious about taking their titles.
Backstage, Renee Young is outside a door which is apparently the door to the office of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. "I am awaiting the arrival of the Authority and... of here they are now" says Renee as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon walk onto the scene. She attempt to get a quick word from them but they completely ignore her and walk into the office, slamming the door in her face. "Well, I guess I'm not getting much from them - back to you guys at ringside".
"Vnimaniye! Vnimaniye!". The Russian words echo throughout the arena to the boos of the WWE Universe. The "ravishing Russian", Lana walks out onto the stage dressed in black and bright red lipstick, looking very professional. She smiles to the WWE Universe despite their response, and she says something in Russian before translating it into English - "Ladies and gentlemen, the Rusev legacy begins now. Introducing "the Bulgarian brute", Alexander Rusev!". A sinister theme begins to play as the three-hundred plus pound monster walks out onto the stage, applauded by Lana. The pair slowly walk towards the ring, Rusev not taking his eyes off his opponent, Justin Gabriel, who made his entrance during the previous commercial break. Rusev enters the ring and the bell rings. ALEXANDER RUSEV vs. JUSTIN GABRIEL; The much anticipated debut of Alexander Rusev had arrived. Anyone familiar with NXT will know how impressive this man can be, and also from his Royal Rumble appearance back in January, and his impressive showing last night at WrestleMania in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal where he shockingly eliminated not only the Intercontinental Champion, Big E, but also the World's Largest Athlete, the Big Show! Justin Gabriel approaches the big man, and hits him with a couple of forearms, but he barely staggers the Bulgarian native, and finds himself on the receiving end of a much more vicious clothesline, sending him to the canvas. Rusev lifts Gabriel up and holds him in his arms, almost like he were a baby. He then throws him up over his head, planting him with a move similar to a Samoan drop. Rusev drags Gabriel to his feet again and throws him into the corner where he clubs him with rights and lefts over and over until Gabriel collapses into a heap in the corner. He grabs Gabriel on his left shoulder, and under his right arm and proceeds to toss him half way across the ring in an incredible show of strength. Picking him up one final time, Rusev raises him above his head with a gorilla press before dropping him, catching him in his arms and hitting him with a falling powerslam. "Rusev, crush him!" Lana screams from ringside and Rusev strides over Gabriel's body before locking in what he calls The Accolade, and Gabriel has no choice but to submit. Alexander Rusev defeats Justin Gabriel! The bell rings and Lana enters the ring, telling Rusev to release the hold. The pair stand above a motionless Gabriel having made one hell of a statement. Rusev raises his large arms as Lana applauds him from beside. This man is sure to be a force to be reckoned with here in the WWE for a long time to come.
The returning Rob Van Dam makes his entrance to a standing ovation. Cole reminds us that RVD returned last night at WrestleMania as a part of the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but was eliminated by Sheamus. Tonight, he makes his Raw return, but his opponent probably won't be too happy to see him. Bad News Barrett makes his way out, and he has a microphone in hand. "Rob Van Dam, I'm afraid I've got some bad news. Tonight may be your return to Raw, but it is also my return to Raw. And unfortunately for you, I am about to cut your return short, and claim my rightful spotlight as my own. Thank you!". Barrett drops the microphone and slides into the ring, the bell ringing as he does. ROB VAN DAM vs. BAD NEWS BARRETT; He runs at Rob Van Dam but straight away eats a heel kick to the face, knocking him down. Barrett quickly jumps to his feet, but RVD kicks him in the gut and throws him through the ropes. As Barrett gets to his feet on the outside, RVD bounces off the ropes - suicide dive! RVD is back in style! He throws Barrett back into the ring and goes for a cover, but Barrett kicks out. He throws Barrett into the corner and hits his signature shoulder attack, doing his backflip and jumping up for the monkey flip, but Barrett shoves him away and follows it up with a big clothesline, almost beheading RVD. Barrett boasts the attack and rolls up his elbow pad, already signaling for the Bull Hammer, but as he goes for it, RVD rolls underneath and hits him with a big superkick. RVD realizes Barrett is in the perfect position - Rolling Thunder! He then goes up top and the crowd knows what's coming next. He taunts on the top rope and goes for the Five-Star Frog Splash - but Barrett moves! But even more amazing, RVD lands on his feet! Barrett runs at RVD, but the former World Champion dodges and rolls Barrett up using a unique roll up, catching Barrett between his legs - 1 - 2 - 3! Rob Van Dam defeats Bad News Barrett!RVD quickly leaves the ring and Barrett can't believe it. He holds his head in his hands and shouts at the referee declaring that was only a two count. RVD just beat Barrett with a unique roll-up maneuver and Barrett never saw it coming. Rob Van Dam picks up his Raw return victory at the expense of Bad News Barrett. The British brawler certainly won't be happy about that.
Before the next match, we are shown still images of the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and the final one shows Dolph Ziggler raising the trophy above his head in celebration after last eliminating Sheamus. Tonight on Raw, Ziggler goes one-on-one with Sheamus just twenty-four hours after winning the inaugural match. DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. SHEAMUS; Ziggler makes his way to the ring, the André the Giant Memorial trophy standing tall beside the announce desk. He walks around the ring and gives it a kiss before celebrating beside it and entering the ring. Sheamus makes his entrance and he too walks around to the trophy, giving it a look and then chuckling to himself before looking into the ring and giving Ziggler a look that pretty much said "fair play, fella" in Sheamus' words. Upon entering the match, both men shake hands and the bell rings, both men locking up. Sheamus, having the strength advantage overpowers Ziggler and back him into the corner where the referee breaks the two up. Sheamus runs back in, looking fairly aggressive and drives his shoulder into Ziggler's gut three times before putting Ziggler on the top rope. He goes up, potentially for a superplex, but we'll never know as Ziggler kicks the Celtic Warrior down to the canvas and then jumps off himself, nailing a missile dropkick. He hooks Sheamus' legs, but only gets a two. Ziggler maintains control, hitting his signature continuous elbows to his opponent with one final leaping on. He again goes for a pin, but Sheamus once again kicks out at two. Sheamus gets back into the match, throwing Ziggler over the top and hanging him up, ready for his signature chops. He hits ten chops to Ziggler's chest, winding the self-proclaimed "show off" and sending him falling to the arena floor. Sheamus follows him out and the fight near the trophy. Sheamus throws Ziggler towards the trophy, but he stops in his tracks, not wanting to hit it, and instead turns around into a big axe handle smash from the Celtic Warrior. He rolls Ziggler back into the ring and hooks the leg - 1 - 2 - kickout by Ziggler. Sheamus decides it's time to end this and backs into the corner, beating his chest, preparing for the Brogue Kick. He goes for it, but Ziggler ducks and immediately leaps up, dropping Sheamus with a big ZigZag and hooking the leg - 1 - 2 - 3! Dolph Ziggler defeats Sheamus! The WWE Universe are thrilled as Ziggler stand up with his hands raised. Sheamus sits up, realizes he has lost and shakes his head in disappointment before leaving the ring. Ziggler leaves the ring and grabs the trophy, again raising it above his head in celebration. Dolph Ziggler points to the sky, knowing that André is there looking down on him. 2014 look to be the year of Dolph Ziggler for sure!
The WWE Universe erupt as the theme of WWE Hall of Famer, Hulk Hogan hits. As he enters, we see still images of last night's segment between himself, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin as he hosted WrestleMania XXX. He enters the ring and gets a microphone, ready to address the New Orleans crowd for the second time in as many days. "Well let me tell ya something, brother!" he says, the WWE Universe cheering for the classic line. "Last night was without a doubt one of the greatest WrestleManias of all time, brother" Hogan declares, and nobody can really disagree. He talks about how last night we saw the Undertaker's illustrious streak come to an end, we saw Daniel Bryan overcome the odds and become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and we saw the first-ever André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, won by Dolph Ziggler. Hogan says that hosting WrestleMania XXX was an honor, and says that being in the ring with both The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin at the same time is up there with one of his greatest WrestleMania moments of all time. He says that he hasn't felt that kind of electricity since he was in the ring at WrestleMania III, body-slamming André in front of ninety-three thousand people. Or the electricity he felt when he clashed with recently inducted WWE Hall of Famer, the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI. The crowd pop for the Ultimate Warrior, but by the magic of irony... The Ultimate Warrior is live on Raw! The iconic theme hits and the WWE Universe unhinge. Hogan snaps his focus to the stage as the WWE Hall of Famer does indeed walk out onto it, and to everyone's delight, he is wearing one of his classic Ultimate Warrior coats. He walks to the ring, slapping hands on the way down with a smile on his face. He enters and grabs a microphone as his theme fades, but before either man speaks, there's an incredible atmosphere as the WWE Universe chant "This is awesome!". Warrior and Hogan stand face-to-face for about a minute before Warrior finally raises the microphone and does one of his signature snorts. The crowd go wild and even Hogan cracks a smile. "It's been a while, Hogan" says Warrior, and Hogan nods his head. "It sure has, brother" responds Hogan. Warrior talks about how last night was a milestone in his career, and that it's because of the WWE Universe that he's being immortalized forever. He says that his matches with Hogan, his matches with Jake Roberts, his matches with Randy Savage defined him, but it's the Ultimate Warrior fans that have immortalized him. He thanks them from the bottom of his heart and says that no matter what, his legend will live on, just like Hogan's and many other WWE Hall of Famers - he'll live on through the WWE Universe. Hogan agrees, and says that they all have the WWE Universe to thank for their careers, their legends, and their immortality. Hogan says that he's glad to see the Ultimate Warrior back in the business, and he extends his hand. The WWE Universe erupt just seconds later as Warrior accepts the handshake and two of arguably the most iconic WWE legends shake hands. The theme of the Ultimate Warrior hits and they celebrate side-by-side, much to the delight of the New Orleans crowd. In what is sure to be an incredible moment that will be remembered in history forever, the Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan stand in the center of the ring, live tonight on Raw, in front of the world.
We are reminded of what took place earlier tonight when Daniel Bryan came out to celebrate his WrestleMania victory with the WWE Universe, only to be interrupted by the former Champion, Randy Orton who declared that he would be cashing in his rematch clause tonight! The above graphic is shown to the New Orleans crowd and a loud response is given. But Daniel Bryan's WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign could potentially come to an end after only twenty-four hours, and that is certain to have the WWE Universe chanting "No!" in the masses.
We cut backstage to the office of the Authority and we see Triple H and Stephanie McMahon talking about what happened last night at WrestleMania, receiving countless boos from the WWE Universe. "You wanted to see me?" asks Randy Orton who walks into the room. Triple H immediately gets up in his face and tells him that he has no choice but to win tonight. "This needs to be put to an end, Randy. Daniel Bryan needs to be put away for good" he declares, and Orton nods his head, saying that he knows it has to be done, and he's going to do it. Suddenly, Batista walks into the room behind Orton and receives a similar amount of boos. "You sure you got this, Randy? Cos I think it would be more of a guarantee if it was me in that title match tonight" he says. Triple H rolls his eyes, knowing what's coming. Orton turns around and responds, "Oh really? I don't remember tapping out last night. Oh wait... that's because I didn't - you did". The crowd gasp and Batista scowls at Orton. "Give it a rest" says Triple H, "we have bigger problems than your egos. This whole Yes Movement crap ends tonight. Once that's done, then you can have your little tiff, okay?". Orton and Batista look at each other before eventually Orton leaves to get ready for later on tonight. Batista watches him leave, looks back at Triple H and then leaves himself. Triple H turns to Stephanie and says "I'll get them on the same page. This ends tonight". CODY RHODES & GOLDUST vs. LUKE HARPER & ERICK ROWAN; The WWE Universe were still in the palms of the Wyatt Family, even clapping along to their entrance music. Bray Wyatt takes a seat on his rocking chair as Luke Harper and Erick Rowan enter the ring ready to take on the Brotherhood. Goldust kicks things off with Erick Rowan, the two bigger men of either team. Rowan takes charge, beating down Goldust with no remorse, eventually tagging in Luke Harper. Harper does the same and beats down on Goldust with a fury only the Wyatt Family could bring. Goldust, being the fighter he is, doesn't give up though and actually hits Harper with an enziguiri, sending the crazed family member stumbling. He quickly leaps to his corner and tags in Cody Rhodes who explodes into the match as the fresh superstar. He springboards from the middle rope and hits Harper with a pitch-perfect Disaster Kick. He even takes to the apron, hitting Rowan with a dropkick and knocking him off. Rhodes climbs up top and leaps off, hitting Harper with a big crossbody and following through with a cover, but Harper kicks out at only one. Rowan tries to get involved in the match again but is taken down by Goldust who re-enters the match and hits him with a big jumping clothesline. The two brawl to the outside leaving Rhodes and Harper in the ring. Rhodes gets ready for the Cross-Rhodes, but Harper turns around and shoves Cody spine first into the turnbuckle and as he bounces back out, Harper hits a devastating clothesline, all but beheading the son of WWE Hall of Famer, Dusty Rhodes. He hooks Cody's leg, and while Goldust tries to save the match, Rowan pulls him out and throws him into the barricade. Harper gets the three count and the victory. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan defeat Cody Rhodes & Goldust!Bray Wyatt stands and laughs, putting his arms out to his sides, his two followers looking at him with equally sadistic grins. He enters the ring as Goldust pulls his brother out of the ring and to safety. Wyatt drops to his knees in front of Harper and Rowan and bellows "Follow the buzzards!". But then suddenly... here comes John Cena! Cena hits the ring, wielding a steel chair! Bray Wyatt sees Cena approaching and quickly rolls out of the ring, but Harper and Rowan stay to fight it seems. Cena slides into the ring and delivers a hard shot to the shoulder of Erick Rowan, sending him through the middle rope. Harper goes for a clothesline, but Cena ducks, and Harper too takes a chair shot, and like his partner, falls through the ropes to the outside. The Wyatt Family retreat up the ramp, Harper and Rowan holding their wounds, but Bray simply looks into the ring at Cena with a hysterical laughter. "You will learn to accept it, John!" he shouts, as John Cena looks directly back at him red-faced. Cena's frustration is definitely showing through, but isn't this exactly what Bray Wyatt wants?
The theme of Brock Lesnar hits and boos pour in from the WWE Universe. It's time for him and Paul Heyamn to address the WWE Universe. We are painfully reminded of last night's event where Brock Lesnar did the unthinkable - he broke the Undertaker's WrestleMania streak. Images from the match are shown on the screen and the WWE Universe voice their dislike. Lesnar and Heyman walk out onto the stage with smug grins on their faces, rubbing the pain in that the WWE Universe is feeling. They reach the ring and Paul Heyman is the one who grabs the microphone. He starts by saying one thing that he's clearly been wanting to say for twenty-four hours - "I told you so". The sheer hatred coming from the New Orleans crowd is deafening, but Heyman and Lesnar love it. "Aww, did Brock Lesnar make you cry? Did Brock Lesnar upset you?" he says sarcastically, quivering his bottom lip. He says that Brock Lesnar doesn't care how he made anyone feel, the fact of the matter is, he did exactly what he said he was going to do - break the streak. Paul Heyman says that for over two decades, WWE superstars, WWE legends, WWE Hall of Famers have come and gone, failing to do what Brock Lesnar did. "But my client isn't like any of those failures, my client is the one! Brock Lesnar is the one in twenty-one and one" Heyman declares, drawing more heat from the crowd by the second. He says that the faces of the people in the arena last night made him laugh, because it was clear to him that they doubted Brock Lesnar. They doubted his ability, and doubted his chances against the Undertaker. Heyman says that the WWE Universe deserve it for doubting him. He goes through Brock Lesnar's achievement and accomplishments over his career, stating that nobody has ever gone against the Undertaker with the credentials he has, and that is what puts him head and shoulders above the rest. "The streak is broken. If that's why you watch the WWE - go home. It's over, and it's never coming back. No more will the Undertaker be able to pull the wool over your eyes because we have proved that he is mortal". Heyman claims that while they have proved Undertaker to be mortal, Brock Lesnar has been proven immortal. "This man has etched his name into the very foundation of this company because he now has something under his belt that no man has ever, or will ever have - he conquered the streak - and that my friends, is why Brock Lesnar--" GONG! The WWE Universe here in New Orleans go absolutely crazy as the signature gong hits and Paul Heyman goes ghostly white. The lights shut off and nobody knows what's going on. Suddenly, a spotlight hits the stage, but nobody is in it. And then, the voice of the one and only Undertaker is heard, speaking directly to Brock Lesnar. "Twenty-one men tried to break that streak... none could achieve it... now it is over... the streak has been broken... the impossible made possible... the flame extinguished... it is over...". The WWE Universe are still buzzing, listening to what Undertaker has to say. "The streak may be over... but the Undertaker... lives on...". The crowd become unglued and go wild. Suddenly the spotlight switches off, and then an even brighter spotlight shines down on the ring, blinding Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman as they raise their hands to shield their eyes. "Brock Lesnar... you may have broken the streak... but you have not broken the spirit... your time will come... and you will be witness... to the rebirth... of the Undertaker...". Still blinded, Lesnar and Heyman don't know where to put themselves. Suddenly, smoke begins to pour into the ring from the outside, which startles the duo. "And when your time does come... you will... rest... in... peace...", the WWE Universe repeating the phrase in unison. The bright light shuts off and the sound of static is heard, the stage screens begin flickering until eventually, everything stops and returns to normal. The crowd erupt as Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman stand in the ring, visibly sweating and caught off guard by this message, seemingly from beyond the grave. Paul Heyman takes a big gulp and mutters off-mic to Lesnar, "Let's go, Brock, let's go" and quickly ushers his client out of the ring. They leave, watching their back as they do and scouring the arena, wary of what may be lurking in the shadows. "Brock Lesnar may have broken the streak, but I think he's unleashed something much darker than he bargained for, guys" says JBL, and Cole and Lawler agree. "The Undertaker is very much alive, folks, and if I were Brock Lesnar, I'd be shaking in my boots" says King. The Undertaker just put Brock Lesnar on notice, but when will the time that he referred to come? When will the Undertaker get his vengeance? What will it entail? So many questions, so little answers. But one thing is for sure, Brock Lesnar is in grave danger. BIG E vs. DAMIEN SANDOW; Both of these men competed in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal last night at WrestleMania, but both came up short. The Intercontinental Champion, Big E was looking to regain some momentum by gaining a victory over a game Damien Sandow. A victory for Sandow here would be ideal, putting him in contention for the title for sure. Sandow tries to make the first move, hitting some right hands on Big E, but all it did was anger the powerhouse who picks Sandow up over his shoulder and rammed him into the turnbuckle. Big E whipped Sandow across the ring to the opposite corner and followed it up with a huge corner splash. With the crowd behind him, Big E picks Sandow up above his head in a gorilla press position before slamming him down to the mat with ease. Sandow slowly got to his feet and managed to duck a clothesline from the Intercontinental Champion, following it up with a Russian leg sweep. Sandow gloated, flicking his hands out and shouting "You're welcome!" to a chorus of boos. He lifts Big E up, but he fought back with shots to the gut. Sandow hit a shot of his own and bounced off the ropes, but was ran into like a bus hitting a pedestrian, Big E flattening him with a big block tackle, running right through him. Big E signaled the end was near as he bounced back and forwards between the ropes, eventually squashing Sandow with an impressive splash. Big E dragged Sandow to his feet and lifted him onto his shoulder - Big Ending! And Big E gets the undeniable three count. Big E defeats Damien Sandow! The WWE Universe cheer as he is declared the winner and handed his Intercontinental Championship by the referee. He raises it above his head, celebrating with the crowd, but then... Sheamus attacks! "What the hell is that all about?" screams Michael Cole as Sheamus steps back after hitting big axe handle smash to the back of Big E's head. The crowd don't know how to respond as they see Sheamus back into the corner and beat his chest - Brogue Kick to Big E! Sheamus stands over Big E and the crowd eventually decide to boo. Sheamus grabs the Intercontinental Championship from the canvas and looks at it before raising it above his head. "Come on, Sheamus! That was uncalled for" declares Jerry Lawler. "That kid has just made an impact, good on him!" shouts JBL in response. What is the meaning of this? Sheamus has just shocked and confused the WWE Universe, but made a definite impact in the process.
There's plenty of boos as the Divas Champion, AJ Lee makes her way out to the ring, accompanied by her "muscle", Tamina Snuka. The Diva duo enter the ring and with a big grin on her face, AJ begins to speak to the WWE Universe. "Here I am - still your Divas Champion" she states, to more boos. She reminds us that she has held the Divas Championship for two-hundred and ninety-five days, which just so happens to be the longest reign in history. "Last night at WrestleMania, I beat thirteen other Divas - the entire roster" she reminds us, explaining that this proves that she is the "best Diva ever". She says that nobody can beat her and that she has officially beaten everyone on the roster, which means that nobody deserves a shot at her title. But AJ may have spoken to soon, as the WWE Universe erupt at the sound of a theme familiar with watchers of NXT - Paige is here! AJ and Tamina look on with confusion on their faces as the British Diva from NXT makes her way towards the ring. She steps inside and instantly snatches the microphone from AJ's hands, getting a pop from the crowd. "AJ - I think I speak for the Divas in the back and the people out here when I say - please just shut up!". The crowd become deafening as AJ looks embarrassed, Tamina scowling behind her. "I'm sick and tired of watching you go on and on about how you're the best Diva ever and how you've beaten everyone. Well I've got some news for you - you haven't beaten me". Another pop from the crowd, but AJ looks at Tamina and then bursts out laughing. She snatches the microphone back from Paige. "Is this for real? Are you really out here claiming that you could possibly be a threat to me?" asks AJ, sarcastically. Paige gets another microphone from ringside and tells AJ straight up that she knows that she can beat her, and she says that she will prove it right now if she puts the title on the line. The New Orleans crowd plead with AJ to accept the challenge, wanting to see Paige get her chance, but alas, AJ wasn't going to give it up that easily. "That's a really good joke... Paige, but you're not even in my league". She laughs and then she seems to have a thought. "Wait, listen. How about I humor you for a moment? How about... you face Tamina, right now, live on Raw for the world to see. And then we'll see about what you can do, okay sweetie?". The patronizing tone doesn't sit well with Paige, and she slaps AJ across the face! The crowd erupt as Paige simply says "Let's do it" and AJ looks at her with rage in her eyes. AJ scream at Tamina to get the job done and rolls out of the ring. Tamina takes off her jacket and we get a referee in the ring and before we know it, the match is under way. TAMINA SNUKA vs. PAIGE; Tamina instantly rushes Paige, going for a big clothesline, but Paige ducks, bounces off the ropes and comes back with a running dropkick, taking Tamina down. Paige pops back up to her feet and looks out of the ring at AJ with a smirk, AJ looking back in anger. Paige grabs Tamina but Tamina hits her with a forearm to the gut, taking advantage. She throws Paige into the corner and follows it up with a big clothesline, throwing Paige to the canvas. She hooks the leg but Paige kicks out at two. AJ screams at Tamina from the sidelines to finish her, and Tamina picks Paige up onto her shoulders and plants her with a vicious Samoan drop! The end is in sight as Tamina climbs to the top rope, readying herself for the Superfly Splash. She jumps off - but Paige moves! Tamina hits nothing but canvas and Paige is back on her feet. She goes up behind the stumbling Tamina who has just got to her feet - Paige Turner! She hooks Tamina's leg and scores the three count - an incredible impressive debut! Paige defeats Tamina Snuka!AJ can't believe it and you could practically see the steam coming from her ears. Tamina rolls out of the ring and got to her feet, apologizing to AJ, but AJ wanted none of it and storms off in a tantrum, leaving Tamina behind. Paige looked on from the ring with a huge grin on her face, celebrating with the WWE Universe. She had just embarrassed AJ Lee and Tamina Snuka, and has surely put herself on the map for a shot at AJ's Divas Championship. What a Raw debut for this impressive young NXT Diva.
Jerry 'The King' Lawler informs us, along with the above graphic, that tomorrow night on the WWE Network, Batista will go one-on-one with Roman Reigns, live on WWE Main Event! Michael Cole reminds us that these were the final two in this year's Royal Rumble match, and it will be a clash that nobody will want to miss!
The WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan is shown walking down a backstage corridor on his way out to the ring. "It's Daniel Bryan's first title defense against Randy Orton - next - live on Raw!" explains Cole as we prepare for the main event. WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - DANIEL BRYAN © vs. RANDY ORTON; Of course, as expected, Daniel Bryan enters with the WWE Universe in the palm of his hand. He sidesteps his way to the ring with "Yes!" chants the whole way, getting New Orleans behind him for the second night in a row, and hopefully that will help him successfully retain his newly won title tonight. Randy Orton makes his entrance to a lot of boos, but doesn't let it affect his focus. The bell rings and he ties up with the man who took his title last night at WrestleMania. Orton doesn't waste any time and immediately goes on the offensive, hitting Bryan with blows to the spine, knocking him to the canvas. He begins stomping down on Bryan, picking out his body parts and targeting them for extra pain. Orton particularly targets Bryan's shoulder which had been previously injured by Triple H and has been consistently targeted by the Authority over the past couple of months. Orton throws Bryan to the outside and goes on to throw Bryan shoulder-first into the steel post, Bryan screaming in pain. The referee begins to count, and realizing he can't win the title via countout, Orton takes the match back inside, covering Bryan, but only getting a two. Orton picks Bryan up and suplexes him right back down before taunting to the crowd, receiving plenty of boo for his trouble. He goes to pick up Bryan again, but the WWE World Heavyweight Champion battle back and bursts out with his signature kicks. With each kick there is a "Yes!" chant, Orton dropping to his knees after the third one and taking them one after the other. Bryan hits a final one to the head and hooks the leg - 1 - 2 - kick out by Orton. Bryan grabs Orton's arm and goes to lock in the Yes! Lock, but Orton wriggles away and catches Bryan with a big scoop powerslam. Orton's eyes glaze over and he goes into "that place" as Michael Cole says, preparing for an RKO. He goes for it - but Bryan shoves him away, and as Orton runs back - Yes! Lock is locked in! Orton struggles around, trying to reach the ropes, but Bryan's got it on good, Orton is going nowhere. Orton's hand begins to raise, as if he is about to tap, and then - Batista attacks! The crowd boo as Batista assaults Daniel Bryan and the referee is forced to call for the bell. Daniel Bryan defeats Randy Orton via Disqualification and is therefore still WWE World Heavyweight Champion!Batista continues to beat down on Bryan, and when Orton gets back to his feet, he rejoins the fray. The two beat down on Bryan in a clear revenge attack after they lost to him just twenty-four hours ago. Suddenly, there's a fiery explosion from the stag - it's Kane! Kane comes out and gets a pop from the crowd. Is he here to help Daniel Bryan? No. Kane looks like he's stopping the fight, but the fact is, he wants a piece for himself, clearly angered by his own loss at WrestleMania and instead Chokeslams Bryan with impact. The three stand over Bryan with sadistic grins on their faces when suddenly - "Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo, Lima, Delta - Shield!" - The Shield have arrived! The United States Champion, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns make their way through the crowd and down to ringside. Unsure what their stance is, Kane, Orton and Batista back up. The Shield enter the ring and stand on the opposite side of Daniel Bryan. They begin to walk over to him and look down at him writhing in pain. The crowd begin to boo, believing that The Shield were here to join the punishment, but then - they attack the Authority! The roof blows off the New Orleans Arena as The Shield lay into the Authority. Rollins delivers a big superkick to Orton, sending him flying through the ropes. Ambrose dropkicks Kane out of the ring too. Batista stumbles around - Spear by Reigns! Reigns hits the Spear on the man we know he will face tomorrow night on WWE Main Event, live on the WWE Network! Batista rolls out of the ring and joins his Authority allies, holding his gut. Orton, Batista and Kane retreat up the ramp and once they reach the stage, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon walk out, the Game's face red with rage. "What do you think you're doing?! Who do you think you are?!" he screams down the ramp at The Shield. Meanwhile, Daniel Bryan makes it back to his feet and has his titles in his hands. He stands in the center of the ring and The Shield turn around to him. After a moment of silence, The Shield move aside and point towards the turnbuckle for Bryan to climb. He does and begins chanting "Yes!" along with the thousands in attendance. The Shield all have big smiles on their faces, opposite to the angry expressions of the Authority. They now have some serious competition, and their days picking on Daniel Bryan are well and truly over.

WWE Main Event: April 8th, 2014 - The Cajundome, Lafayette, Louisiana
Main Event opens with a video package highlighting the events of last night’s historic episode of Monday Night Raw. We see clips of Daniel Bryan getting challenged by former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton to a title match. It then shows how Bryan was on the verge of making Orton submit, when Batista hit the ring and attacked Bryan. This was followed by Kane joining in on the beating until The Shield came out and surprisingly, aided Daniel Bryan. The battle lines were drawn as The Shield and Daniel Bryan stood up to the Authority. BATISTA vs. ROMAN REIGNS; This battle of the brutes between “The Animal” Batista and Roman Reigns is a first time ever meeting, however, go back to the end of January and these were the final two men in the 2014 Royal Rumble match. Batista went on to win that match, however Reigns set a new record by eliminating twelve WWE Superstars! After The Shield came to serve justice as Batista, Randy Orton and the Authority were putting the boots to the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, this match became more personal. As two Superstars who have only met during the Royal Rumble, the match begins with a feeling out process and some tests of strength. Reigns takes control with a huge clothesline, but The Animal slows the pace down to turn the tide. He gets Reigns in the corner and rams his shoulder into him multiple times before sending him off the ropes and delivering a huge spinebuster. Batista starts to shake the ropes as it is clearly time for the Batista Bomb. The crowd boos heavily but when Batista goes to grab Reigns, he is met with a huge Superman punch from out of nowhere. Batista falls onto the second rope, so Reigns rolls outside and hits his signature running dropkick. Reigns roars as the crowd went nuts. He gets back in the ring and charges for the Spear but Batista moves and Reigns hits the turnbuckle. Both men are down as the Director of Operations, Kane makes his way down to the ring. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, who came to the ring with Roman Reigns, stop Kane in his tracks by standing at the end of the ramp. Back in the ring, Reigns drills Batista with a huge Spear as they got up. Randy Orton snuck in from the crowd though and leveled Reigns, causing the disqualification. Roman Reigns defeats Batista via disqualification!Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins rush into the ring with Kane following. A huge brawl breaks out as The Shield looks poised to come out on top. However, Randy Orton nails Ambrose with a low blow, which allows the numbers game to fall in their favor. Kane tosses Ambrose out of the ring as Batista gets some revenge by hitting Reigns with a spear. Rollins is left in between the three and when he gets up, he is nailed with a vicious RKO. Randy Orton, Kane and Batista stand tall as the Shield is laid out in an image we do not see very often.
A WWE Network commercial airs, promoting the premiere of the WWE Network Original show, Legends House! Clips of the historic contest from WrestleMania XXX where Brock Lesnar did the unthinkable and ended The Undertaker’s legendary streak. It shows how the news is a big part of pop culture as even Jon Stewart talked about it on the Daily Show. This was followed with a recap of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman’s promo on Raw last night which was interrupted by the voice of The Undertaker! He promised that even though Brock broke the streak, he didn’t break the Deadman.
The Ravishing Russian, Lana, is introduced as she comes to the stage. She introduces the “Bulgarian Brute” and says that on Monday the WWE Universe saw the beginning of the Rusev Legacy and tonight it will continue. Tyson Kidd, who was already in the ring, is ready for the match but does look a bit nervous. ALEXANDER RUSEV vs. TYSON KIDD; Last night on Raw, Alexander Rusev made his long awaited debut by defeating Tyson Kidd’s former tag team partner, Justin Gabriel. Tonight, Kidd attempts to do what Gabriel could not. He tries a different tactic than Gabriel as he goes after Rusev’s legs with some kicks. He backs away after each one, trying to avoid the grasp of the Bulgarian Brute. He runs off the ropes but is met with a huge body block. Rusev picks up Kidd and hits a big Samoan drop. Rusev sends Kidd into the corner and crushes the last graduate of the Hart Dungeon with a running attack. Kidd falls to the mat and Rusev locks in the Camel Clutch. Kidd has no choice but to tap out. Alexander Rusev defeats Tyson Kidd!Alexander Rusev refuses to break the hold until Lana gets in the ring and advises him to do so. He raises his arms high in the air as he has himself a dominant first 24 hours in the WWE.
Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton announce to the viewers on the WWE Network that because of the events following the match between Batista and Roman Reigns tonight, a huge main event has been signed for SmackDown this Friday. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Apex Predator of the WWE, Randy Orton, will take on the Architect of The Shield, Seth Rollins! A complete recap of WrestleMania XXX is shown, to the tune of Kid Rock’s “Celebrate”. THE USOS vs. RYBAXEL; Last night on Raw, the Real Americans bested Rybaxel and Los Matadores to become the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Titles. Jack Swagger, Zeb Colter and Cesaro were on commentary here, just like the Usos were last night. Tom Phillips asks about Cesaro going to shake hands with the Usos and having Swagger stop him, but Zeb steps in and tells Tom not to try and cause any problems between his Real Americans. Rybaxel has developed into a surprisingly good tag team and they were in control during this contest. Ryback and Curtis Axel have cut the ring in half and Jey Uso really needs to make a tag. They tag in and out a few times before Jey nails Ryback with a huge superkick. Both men are down and begin to crawl to their respective corners. They both make the tag and Jimmy Uso comes in on complete fire. He hits a superkick of his own, a Samoan drop and a flying cross body. He knocks Ryback off the apron, which allows Jey to use a burst of energy and dive to the outside on him! Jimmy hits a suplex and climbs to the top where he hits a big splash and gets the 1-2-3. The Usos defeat Rybaxel! The Usos celebrate their victory as The Real Americans get up from the announce table. The Usos look at them and there is some clear trash talk going on, mostly from Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. They leave without incident, although Cesaro motions that the Tag Team Titles will soon belong to them.

WWE NXT: April 10th, 2014 - Full Sail University, Winter Park, Florida

After dismantling Xavier Woods in one-on-one competition, the former “Funkasaurus” laid his claim to Adrian Neville’s NXT Championship. With both Neville and Brodus in the Full Sail Arena this evening, we can only expect that the two of them will have words for one another. TYSON KIDD vs. BO DALLAS; Kicking off NXT was action between the former NXT Champion and a WWE superstar who is looking to build up some momentum at an opportune time following WrestleMania. Bo was able to stay in control for much of the bout until Kidd caught fire following a springboard Missile Dropkick. Kidd was able to plant Bo with a Northern Lights Suplex before heading to the top rope, looking for the Blockbuster. At that moment, however, Brodus Clay hit the scene and pushed Kidd off, resulting in the disqualification finish. Tyson Kidd defeats Bo Dallas via disqualification!Brodus Clay picked Tyson Kidd up off of the ground, throwing him into the steel ring post while the WWE Universe expressed their disdain for his actions. Kidd was then rolled into the ring as Clay positioned him for a Running Splash. His plans were thwarted as the NXT Champion, Adrian Neville, came running out to a huge ovation from the audience. Brodus rolled out of the ring, heading up the entrance ramp with a grin on his face. Neville looked on at him before noticing Bo Dallas running towards him. Neville acted quickly and pulled the top rope down, causing Bo to fall over and onto the floor. The embarrassed Bo sat on the ground while Neville helped Kidd up to his feet.
Returning to NXT on the WWE Network, the commentary trio of Tom Philips, Byron Saxton and Jason Albert informed the viewers of an announcement from the office of General Manager, John Bradshaw Layfield. After the events of the previous bout, tonight's main event will be a tag team match pitting Bo Dallas and Brodus Clay against Tyson Kidd and the NXT Champion, Adrian Neville! ADAM ROSE vs. CJ PARKER; The Exotic Express was in full effect tonight as the audience in Full Sail University showed their support for Adam Rose, as they do ever week on NXT. One person who was not in a partying mood was CJ Parker, who was looking to bring Rose's momentum to a halt. Unfortunately for the "Moon Child," he failed after Rose delivered an Elbow Drop directly to his sternum for the win. Adam Rose defeats CJ Parker! The celebration commenced afterwards for Adam Rose as he made his way up the entrance ramp, where he was once again joined by the Exotic Express. They, along with the WWE Universe, moved to the rhythm of Rose's entrance music to celebrate another victory for him on NXT.
A video package was shown to recap this past weekend's WrestleMania Axxess festivities involving the Superstars and Divas of NXT.
Backstage, Devin Taylor was standing by with Sami Zayn, who was asked for his thoughts following his loss to Corey Graves last week. Zayn said that it has been nearly one year since he arrived in NXT, and he can honestly say that Graves gave him one of the worst beatings that he has sustained in that time frame. "I may not have had my shoulders counted down, but a loss is a loss. The record shows that I have one victory over Graves, and he holds one over myself. So what I am proposing is that we settle this next week. You and me, Graves. One more time to see who truly is the better man." AIDEN ENGLISH vs. YOSHI TATSU; As usual, Aiden English made his grand entrance while performing an original number for the WWE Universe. English then took one of the roses that was tossed him, throwing it into the face of Yoshi Tatsu. Yoshi responded with a series of strikes and kicks, cornering English. Yoshi was able to keep a bit of momentum rolling throughout the match, soon looking to finish off "The Artiste" with a Roundhouse Kick. English managed to dodge the kick before striking Yoshi in the back of his left knee. English picked him up off of the canvas, delivering the Take A Bow to secure the victory. Aiden English defeats Yoshi Tatsu! The bell sounds as Aiden English gets up to his feet, sweeping dust from the canvas onto the motionless body of Yoshi Tatsu. He basked in the glory of his victory as he made his way up the entrance ramp.
BAYLEY vs. SASHA BANKS; While Sasha Banks had her BFF acquaintance, Charlotte, in her corner, Bayley had her own equalizer in the form of Emma. At one point in the match, Charlotte attempted to distract the official, but she herself was thrown off guard when Emma approached her, performing her unusual dance. During that, Banks tried to deliver the Bankrupt, but Bayley was able to fight out of it and roll up "The Boss" for the win. Bayley defeats Sasha Banks!Bayley rolled out of the ring as Emma joined her, raising her arm in the air. Sasha Banks was livid in the ring as Charlotte tried to calm her down. The BFFs are once again on the losing end of a bout as Bayley perhaps puts herself in position for an opportunity at Paige's NXT Women's Championship. ADRIAN NEVILLE & TYSON KIDD vs. BRODUS CLAY & BO DALLAS; An unexpected main event that came as a result of the occurrences in tonight's opening contest. While Brodus Clay is looking to become the next challenger for Adrian Neville's NXT Championship, Bo Dallas has hopes that he and his "Bolievers" can reach the mountain top for a second time. This caused friction between the two, which resulted in Brodus leaving Bo. Neville and Kidd were able to capitalize on the situation, the NXT Champion delivering a Red Arrow to Bo to gain the victory. Adrian Neville and Tyson Kidd defeat Brodus Clay and Bo Dallas! The audience erupted as Adrian Neville and Tyson Kidd had their arms raised following their victory. Brodus Clay stood on the stage, watching on as he mouthed the words, "Matter of time." Neville responded by raising the NXT Championship high in the air to bring NXT on the WWE Network to a close.

Friday Night SmackDown: April 11th, 2014 - The Cajundome, Lafayette, Louisiana
SmackDown opens with a video package showing the end of Raw last week in which The Shield came to the aid of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan against the forces of Batista, Randy Orton and Kane. It then shows how Randy Orton hit an RKO on Seth Rollins on Main Event this week. Friday Night SmackDown kicks off to the theme music of the COO of the company, Triple H. He is accompanied to the ring by his wife, Stephanie McMahon. They enter the ring to a chorus of boos before beginning to speak. “WrestleMania week is supposed to be the best time of the year, yet 2014 has been incredibly infuriating” says Triple H. He explains that Daniel Bryan got lucky and bested him in the opening match at WrestleMania XXX, which ruined the main event. Instead of three A+ players like himself, Randy Orton and Batista; Bryan got in the match and what’s worse, he went on to win it. Now, there’s a B+ goat faced WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The crowd begins to shout “Yes!” in unison as Stephanie says that this is exactly what they’ve been trying to prevent since SummerSlam. The WWE is now represented by someone who is just not Championship material. She says that things got even worse on Raw when The Shield stuck their noses in a place that it didn’t belong. For months The Shield has been something that is best for business yet this past Monday they decided to be on the side of Daniel Bryan. Stephanie claims that the Shield has no idea what they just did to themselves because they’re going to feel a wrath that they never have before. A video is shown of Main Event this past Tuesday where Batista went one on one with Roman Reigns, only to have Randy Orton and Kane get involved and they left the Shield lying. Triple H says that was just the beginning as tonight just may end up as more of the same. “Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo, Lima, Delta, Shield” is heard as the crowd goes wild. The Shield come down to the ring through the crowd, but Triple H and Stephanie escape to the top of the ramp before anything can happen. The crowd wants to see The Shield get their hands on Triple H but it looks like it won’t happen tonight. The Shield dares Triple H to get in the ring, but he turns and heads to the back.
Michael Cole and JBL talk about history being made this past Sunday at WrestleMania when Brock Lesnar did the impossible and broke the Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak. Various news articles and Jon Stewart discussing it on the Daily Show is shown. ROB VAN DAM vs. THE MIZ; At WrestleMania Rob Van Dam returned in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, which also involved The Miz. Then on Monday, RVD defeated a returning Bad News Barrett in one on one competition. They lock up to start the match and Miz tries a quick roll up that RVD kicks out of. Miz whips RVD into the corner and runs in for the Awesome Clothesline, but RVD dodges it. With Miz stuck in the corner, RVD delivers a few kicks to the back followed by a reverse DDT. RVD then hits Rolling Thunder for another near fall. He goes for a moonsault but Miz moves. Miz drops a few elbows on RVD and a snap DDT as RVD gets to his knees. He gets another near fall with this and signals that it’s over. He goes for the Skull Crushing Finale as RVD gets up, but RVD reverses it into a rolling pin attempt for a two count. They get up at the same time and RVD hits an impressive gorilla press slam. He climbs to the top, looking for the Five Star Frog Splash but is stopped when the music of Bad News Barrett hits. He comes up from his podium near the stage. “Rob Van Dam, you’ve returned and picked up a victory over me on Monday, but I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news! This is far from over and you won’t be winning any more matches in the near future.” As he says this, Miz is up and hits the ropes, causing RVD to fall. Miz now hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the win. The Miz defeats Rob Van Dam!The Miz celebrates his win as Bad News Barrett laughs loudly on his podium. RVD slowly gets up and stares in Barrett’s direction as its clear on both men’s faces that this won’t be the last we see of this.
Bray Wyatt is now seen on the screen along with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, in a dimly lit area as usual. Bray begins to speak directly to John Cena. "The one thing that can bring joy to even the most cruel and heartless of men is the pleasure of seeing their vision become a reality. One step towards Bray Wyatt's vision was taken at WrestleMania in the wake of my victory. One look into everyone's eyes after I defated you, John, I knew that it was only a matter of time. And then, on RAW...hahaha...on RAW! An even greater step was taken! Clouded by rage and anger, you took the fight to my family like only a monster can! You are the monster now! The feeling of your vengeance brought a tear to my eye, John! I knew that the second your legacy was tarnished at WrestleMania, a new legacy was about to be established. In the middle of New Orleans will forever lie the resting place of your legacy as a hero. The legacy of John Cena, the monster, awaits the masses. He's got the whole world in his hands.......as well as your fate, John. Follow......the buzzards." FANDANGO & SUMMER RAE vs. SANTINO MARELLA & EMMA; Ever since Emma made her debut by besting Summer Rae in a dance off, these four have gone back and forth and traded victories. Tonight, things begin with Fandango and Santino as Santino puts him in a headlock. Fandango sends him off the ropes and Santino comes back doing his power walk. Fandango watches as Santino bounces off the ropes twice before stopping. Fandango charges, Santino does a split to duck and he follows with a hip toss. Santino nails a diving headbutt for a near fall. Fandango stops Santino’s offensive streak by hitting a spinning heel kick. Shortly after, he tags in Summer Rae and Emma joins her. Summer grabs Emma by the hair and slams her to the mat before hitting a spinning heel kick of her own. Emma ends up taking control after the Emma-mite sandwich and Emma Plane. She went for the cover, but Fandango pulled her off by her hair. Santino ran in and knocked Fandango to the outside. Emma put Summer in the Emma Lock and she was forced to submit. Santino Marella & Emma defeat Fandango & Summer Rae!Santino Marella got back into the ring to celebrate with Emma as she did her dance. Santino joined in along with some of the WWE Universe. Fandango pulls Summer Rae out of the ring as they leave up the ramp. Santino goes to hug Emma, but she goes for a handshake. The awkward dorkiness continues between these two.
Renee Young is standing by with The Shield. She asks for their comments on their actions this past Monday. Dean Ambrose says that people have been talking about a “change” in the Shield all week but the Shield is the same as they’ve ever been. The only difference is where their actions are aimed. Roman Reigns says that they always have and always will be a shield of injustice, and there is no bigger injustice in the WWE than The Authority. Seth Rollins says that they clearly have angered the Authority, Randy Orton, Kane and Batista which was evident on Main Event, but that’s fine by them. Tonight, he’s going to get back at Orton for hitting him with an RKO on Tuesday. Believe that, and believe in the Shield.
Returning from commercial, Dolph Ziggler is shown backstage shining up his Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy. Suddenly, Alberto Del Rio walks to up him grinning. Del Rio says that he asked to be part of their tag team match later tonight because he wants to prove that Dolph got lucky when he won the battle royal. Del Rio says that it should’ve been him who won and he’s going to beat Dolph just like he did last year for the World Heavyweight Championship. Dolph smirks and replies by saying he wasn’t lucky at WrestleMania, he’s just that damn good; especially good enough to eliminate Del Rio from the battle royal. He walks off with the trophy leaving Del Rio looking pissed off. BIG SHOW vs. BRODUS CLAY; Two of the biggest and toughest Superstars on the WWE roster went at it in Brodus Clay’s highest profile match since turning heel. He’s been showing up on NXT recently and has demanded an NXT Title shot. There are no men on NXT the size of the Big Show though, and he takes control in the early goings. Show delivers sound very loud chops to Clay in the corner and a headbutt. Show sends him back into the corner and goes for an avalanche, but Clay moves and Show crashes. Clay hits an avalanche of his own followed by an elbow drop. Clay runs off the ropes and nails a splash for a near fall. Clay shouts that he’s a main event player to boos from the crowd. Clay slows things down by putting Show in a nerve hold. Show rallies out of it behind the crowd’s enthusiasm and he sends Clay off the ropes before connecting with a vicious spear. Show awaits Clay getting up as he then hits him with the Weapon of Mass Destruction to get the 1-2-3. Big Show defeats Brodus Clay!Big Show raises his arms in victory as he Brodus Clay rolls to the outside. From out of nowhere, Big Show is leveled from behind by Alexander Rusev! The Bulgarian Brute continues to pummel Show with knee lifts before throwing him into the corner. Rusev runs in and hits a huge hip attack. Lana is at ringside shouting instructions to Rusev, who goes to pick up Show. Show grabs him by the throat as the crowd cheer, but Rusev drills him with a headbutt. Rusev locks on an impressive camel clutch as Lana cheers him on. She gets in the ring and has him break it after a while before she raises his arms. Alexander Rusev has definitely made an impact tonight!
The Authority is shown in their office when Randy Orton enters. He asks if they heard what the Shield was saying earlier. Triple H says that he did hear them and that the Shield will get what’s coming to them since they want to bite the hand that feeds them and it starts with Randy Orton beating Seth Rollins tonight. Surprisingly, Christian enters the office now and asks to speak to the Authority alone. Orton obliges after Triple H says that it’s fine. Christian admits that he’s been losing more than he should recently and when he finally wins an important match, he gets a concussion. He says that he can’t get any forward momentum going and that’s why he has come to them. He asks for a United States Title match and says that he needs this more than anything. He promises to do whatever it takes to win and will be in their debt if they give him the shot. Stephanie suddenly gets a “this could work” look on her face as she whispers something to Hunter. They agree to give him the match.
Returning from commercial, a recap of Sheamus’ loss to Dolph Ziggler on Monday is shown, followed by Sheamus’ surprise attack on Intercontinental Champion Big E! Sheamus theme music hits as he comes to the ring to a mixed reaction. He gets inside and grabs a microphone as it looks like he will be explaining his actions. Sheamus begins by saying that he got to the WWE and instantly made an impact when he won the WWE Championship within a few months. The WWE Universe was not behind him in the early stages and he was wildly successful. He won the WWE Title twice, took out Triple H and won the United States Championship. Then, he started to care about what the fans thought and it started out as more success. Not only did he win the 2012 Royal Rumble match, but he also won the World Heavyweight Championship in 18 seconds. However, once he did that, a good portion of the WWE Universe turned their backs on him again. He eventually lost the title and since then, he hasn’t done much. He lost in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and again to Dolph Ziggler on Monday. Sheamus claims that he is tired of caring about the fans because he needs to get back to caring about himself. That leads to success and success is measured in things like the Intercontinental Title, which is the first thing he’s going to take for himself. SHEAMUS & ALBERTO DEL RIO vs. BIG E & DOLPH ZIGGLER; After his pre-match promo, the WWE Universe was solidly against the “Celtic Warrior.” Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler have all had plenty of matches with each other, while Ziggler and Big E teamed at WrestleMania 29, so this should be a good match with lots of chemistry. Big E and Sheamus start things out to the crowd’s approval and Sheamus is showing a more aggressive side. He wails away at Big E in the corner before working over his back. Big E turns things around after hitting multiple rib busters. He tags in Ziggler, who came in hot but eventually cooled off after receiving an enziguri from Del Rio. Del Rio and Sheamus cut the ring in half and make frequent tags. Ziggler eventually hits a huge jumping DDT on Del Rio that allows him to make the hot tag. Big E comes in on fire as he hits Del Rio with several body blocks and a belly to belly suplex. Big E sends Del Rio into the corner, where Sheamus blind tags in, and Big E hits a splash. He lifts Del Rio for the Big Ending, but is met with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus covers and picks up the victory. Sheamus & Alberto Del Rio defeat Big E & Dolph Ziggler!JBL states that Sheamus has just pinned the Intercontinental Champion as the WWE Universe voices their disappointment in the new change of the Celtic Warrior. On the outside, Alberto Del Rio picks up the Andre the Giant trophy and levels Dolph Ziggler in the back with it as he was checking on Big E. Sheamus’ claim for an Intercontinental Title shot just got much more serious and Alberto Del Rio shows his vicious side to Ziggler once again.
The above graphic is shown announcing that Christian’s United States Title match has been made official and is scheduled for this Monday night on Raw. Christian will go one on one with the United States Champion, Dean Ambrose! THE REAL AMERICANS vs. R-TRUTH & XAVIER WOODS; This past Monday on Raw, the Real Americans defeated Rybaxel and Los Matadores to become the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. They then did commentary during the Usos match on Main Event but tonight they were in action. R-Truth and Cesaro start off and Cesaro continues to impress. He hits Truth with multiple stiff uppercuts and an impressive Gutwrench suplex. Truth hit a big spinning forearm to stop his momentum before tagging in Xavier Woods. Woods and Cesaro trade arm drags before Woods hits his big rolling clothesline for a near fall. Cesaro takes back control after a suplex followed by him and Swagger cutting the ring in half. They tag in and out and hit some double team moves. Woods eventually makes a hot tag, but Truth doesn’t hold serve for long. He falls victim to a pop up uppercut from Cesaro, before Swagger makes him tap out to the Patriot Lock. The Real Americans defeat R-Truth & Xavier Woods!Jack Swagger refuses to break the Patriot Lock after the bell sounds despite the pleas of the Funkadactyls. Cesaro tries to get him to break it but he doesn’t want to. Cesaro eventually gets him to agree, but it’s clear they’re not 100% on the same page. Zeb Colter plays peace keeper as they shout “We The People!”.
A promo for Warrior Week on the WWE Network airs. All next week the WWE Network will be showing specials chronicling the Ultimate Warrior’s life and career. SETH ROLLINS vs. RANDY ORTON; Randy Orton came to the ring with Batista, while Seth Rollins was accompanied by both of his Shield teammates. On Main Event this past Tuesday, Orton intervened in the match between Batista and Roman Reigns and hit Rollins with an RKO, setting this match up. As soon as the bell rings, Rollins runs at Orton and hits him with a knee strike. Rollins is amped up tonight as he backs Orton into the corner and hits him with multiple forearms. He goes to the opposite corner and begins to stomp his feet. He turns and goes for a big forearm, but Orton moves and starts to take over. Randy hits him with a European uppercut and slows down the pace, putting Rollins in a headlock. Rollins fights out of it eventually and sends Orton off the ropes. Orton ducks a clothesline and hits a huge, quick powerslam as Rollins comes back at him. Orton follows that up with a big jumping knee drop for a near fall. Orton puts Rollins on the apron and sets up for his signature DDT. Rollins fights out of it and back body drops Orton to the outside. As soon as Orton stands, Rollins meets him with a suicide dive as the Shield and the WWE Universe are pumped. Rollins rolls Orton back into the ring and gets a near fall. Shortly after, Rollins hits a huge turnbuckle powerbomb and was setting up to finish off Orton, in what would be a huge victory for his career. He gets on the apron and seems to be calling for a springboard move. Batista gets on the apron, which distracts Seth. Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns run over to Batista’s side as the Animal gets down. Rollins now goes for his springboard but Orton catches him with a huge mid-air RKO! He covers and it’s enough to put down Rollins. Randy Orton defeats Seth Rollins!Randy Orton quickly rolls out of the ring as Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns enter. He and Batista back up the ramp as “Voices” plays over the speaker system. Batista’s slight distraction was enough to make Seth Rollins hesitate, giving Orton the chance to recover and nail a breathtaking RKO. The Shield looks on at Batista and Orton at the top of the stage as Orton poses with his arms out.

Monday Night Raw: April 14th, 2014 - BJCC Arena, Birmingham, Alabama
Before Raw gets started, there is a sad atmosphere in the BJCC Arena as the entire WWE roster stand atop the stage, some wearing t-shirt and some even wearing the facepaint of the late, great, WWE Hall of Famer, the Ultimate Warrior. There's a loud "Warrior" chant in the arena, but it immediately stops as the bell rings, signalling the beginning of the ten-bell salute. After the ten bells, the WWE Universe erupt as the WWE roster, some wiping their tears, applaud the memory of the Ultimate Warrior who sadly passed away last week. Thank you, Warrior.
Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and John 'Bradshaw' Layfield welcome us to Raw with the reminder of last week's events that unfolded following the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. After recapping what took place when the Authority and The Shield collided, we are told that this Friday on SmackDown, the Authority awarded Christian an opportunity at Dean Ambrose's United States Championship when Captain Charisma promised that they wouldn't regret it, and a graphic is shown on the titantron. The theme of the Chief Operating Officer, Triple H hits to an enormous amount of boos. The Game walks out onto the stage, hand-in-hand with his wife, Stephanie McMahon and the couple walk towards the ring, a stern look on both of their faces. Entering the ring, Triple H is handed a microphone from ringside and begins to speak. "Last week on Raw, three individuals collectively known as The Shield crossed the line" he explains, the WWE Universe cheering for the mere mention of their name. Triple H says that they made the biggest mistake of their lives by turning their back on the Authority and siding with Daniel Bryan. "I will make your lives a living hell, just like I have done with Daniel Bryan for the past eight months". The crowd boo as Stephanie nods her head in agreement with her husband. He hands the microphone to her and she screeches to the fans. "You people support these rebels, yet they were the ones destroying your heroes week in, week out over the past year" she says, and JBL says she's absolutely right. Triple H takes the microphone back, calling the fans "mindless hypocrites", and that they don't have a clue what they want - but he knows what they want. He says what they want is a Champion they can be proud of, but that isn't Daniel Bryan. They boo, as expected, but Triple H continues his lecture. "You people need a true Champion that you can look up to, and let's be honest - you can only look down at Daniel Bryan". Hunter and Stephanie laugh between themselves, the WWE Universe not finding humour in their quips. As Triple H goes to speak again, he is interrupted by the theme of Daniel Bryan! Bryan makes his way down to the ring, his titles over his shoulders, chanting "Yes!" in synchronisation with the WWE Universe. He enters the ring with a big smile on his face, and he snatches the microphone from Triple H's hand, getting a big pop for doing so. "Hunter, don't you think this is getting a bit old now? I mean... I beat you at WrestleMania, I've beaten your goons, Randy Orton and Batista, I've beaten Kane, there's really nothing left for you to do to me" Bryan declares. Triple H snatches the microphone back, "Who do you think you are interrupting me? This will never be over as long as you are WWE World Heavyweight Champion". Bryan laughs and shakes his head before grabbing another microphone, "But Hunter, what do you have left? Can you not just accept that this is how it is? This was always going to happen and if you were truly looking out for what's best for business, you would see that this is exactly that!". The crowd chant "Yes!" as Triple H looks around in disgust. Bryan continues, "This needs to end, Hunter. You need to get on with your life, and I'll get on with mine. You've lost the battle, The Shield have seen the light, you can't honestly continue like this". Triple H gets visibly frustrated and starts breathing heavily. "I may have lost the battle, but I promise you - I will win the war!" he exclaims, to boos from the WWE Universe. The two come nose-to-nose, the intensity radiating off both men, when suddenly... The theme of Hulk Hogan plays! The WWE Universe explode as Hulk Hogan comes out onto the stage, clad in classic red and yellow. He makes his way down to the ring, Bryan with a huge smile on his face as both Triple H and Stephanie look on in confusion. Hogan grabs a microphone of his own and begins to speak. "I think I speak for all my Hulkamaniacs, and the whole of the WWE Universe when I say that this has gone on long enough, brothers". Triple H squares up to Hogan. "What the hell do you think you're doing? You have no business out here. I brought you back to host WrestleMania and you've done that - why are you even still here?" Triple H asks, the crowd booing him even louder. Hogan tells him that he's still here because he made a promise that he had come home to the WWE, and he was here to stay. A "Hogan" chant breaks out, Bryan nodding his head in appreciation. Hogan continues to speak, "Let me tell you something, brother. I've watched as you and your Authority have made Daniel Bryan's life hell over the past year, and I think it's time that it was put to an end". Triple H tilts his head, listening to what Hogan has to say. "You see, I couldn't help but notice that there's four of your guys - you, Orton, Batista and Kane. And then there's four of these guys - Daniel Bryan and The Shield" Hogan explains, and the crowd is silent, wondering what he's getting at. "Well, brother, back in WCW, there was a little something we used to do to sort out situations exactly like this - WarGames!". The crowd erupt as Triple H's eyes widen, while Bryan's smile extends. "If you really want to settle this once and for all, what better way to do it than inside a big ass steel cage, brother?!". Triple H begin shouting into his microphone, "Who do you think you are?! Coming out and telling me what I should be doing! Hogan, you have no place getting involved in--", Bryan cuts him off. Bryan says that he actually likes Hogan's idea and thinks that if Triple H wants to settle this once and for all, it's the best way to do it. "Unless you and your cronies are scared?". The crowd gasp at the accusation, and the Game becomes visibly infuriated. He walks right up to Bryan, "You want this? Do you really want this?! You want a war?!" he shouts. Triple H looks at Hogan and then back at Bryan, "... you got it!". The WWE Universe erupt as Bryan's smirks and Hogan nods his head. Michael Cole goes crazy, explaining that we have just heard that the Authority will take on Daniel Bryan and The Shield - in WarGames! Triple H leaves with his wife as Daniel Bryan's theme plays. Bryan shakes hands with Hogan, and Hogan raises Bryan's hand. Triple H reaches the top of the ramp before stopping and turning around. "Bryan, I forgot to mention something. Since you're already in the ring, I'm going to put you in action, right now - against Kane!". He slams the microphone down and storms off, Stephanie in tow and Bryan nods his head, seemingly okay with the match. The scene fades to black.
We return from the commercial break and we are shown a quick recap of what just happened as Hulk Hogan suggested that Daniel Bryan and Triple H settle their differences, along with their allies in a WarGames Match, which Triple H then accepted! We are shown the graphic below to confirm the match, the WWE Universe erupting as it appears. As the scene returns to the ring, Daniel Bryan stands ready for action before a fiery explosion from the stage signals the entrance of the Director of Operations, Kane. DANIEL BRYAN vs. KANE; The bell rings and Bryan circles Kane, trying to avoid getting caught early on. He ducks under a right hand and goes right to the legs of his former tag team partner. Kicking away, he looks to be maintaining control, but Kane being the monster he is, fights through the pain and turns around, clocking Bryan with a big right hand, knocking him to the canvas. He picks Bryan up and throws him into the corner before delivering more right hands, followed by a series of back elbows. Kane has clearly been given strict instructions to maim Bryan tonight, courtesy of Triple H. He drags Bryan out of the corner and plants him with a side slam. He hooks the leg, but Bryan kicks out at two. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion has the crowd behind him, willing him on to come back and beat the Corporate Monster. Kane grabs Bryan by the throat, looking for the Chokeslam, but Bryan escapes and drags Kane down to the mat, looking to execute the Yes! Lock. The big frame of Kane makes it incredible difficult, and he battles out, throwing Bryan across the ring. But Bryan pops right back up to his feet and hits Kane with a big roundhouse, stumbling the big man. Kane bounces off the ropes and Bryan hits him with a dropkick, sending him reeling into the corner. Bryan sees an opening and runs to the opposite side before running back and hitting a devastating kick to Kane in the corner. He does it twice more and Kane falls to the canvas. Bryan begins to prepare for the end and pumps his hands into the air with "Yes!" chants from the crowd. Suddenly, Randy Orton and Batista emerge at ringside to the boos from the crowd. Bryan turns his attention to them, trying to avoid getting hit from behind. Orton jumps onto the apron to distract Bryan and Kane runs in for a shot - but Bryan ducks and Kane hits Orton with a clothesline! Orton flies off the apron and into his Authority ally, Batista, both men falling to the floor. Kane turns around - Busaiku Knee! Bryan covers him and pick up the victory. Daniel Bryan defeats Kane! The WWE Universe erupt as Bryan is declared the winner, Kane rolling out of the ring to regroup with Batista and Orton. The Authority leave in disappointment as Bryan is victorious. They will all meet in WarGames on May 4th, along with Triple H and The Shield, but which side will walk out victorious?
Renee Young is backstage and she is standing alongside Sheamus to plenty of boos from the Alabama crowd. Renee asks Sheamus why this sudden change of heart. Sheamus laughs, telling Renee that it isn't a change of heart, he's just being himself. He says that he explained himself on SmackDown and that's all he has to say on the matter - "it's time to care about Sheamus". He says that Big E should spend as much time with the Intercontinental Championship as he can, because he won't have the opportunity to do that soon. "But tonight, I'm going to do what I should have done last week - take Dolph Ziggler's head off". Sheamus leaves and Renee looks disappointed in the former fan favourite.
Both men had entered the ring and were ready to compete, when suddenly, the theme of Alberto Del Rio hit to boos from the crowd. Ziggler didn't look happy to see Del Rio as he made his way around the ring and put on a headset, sitting alongside JBL on commentary. JBL shakes hands with Del Rio and tells Cole and King that they should be grateful to be in the presence of such a talented star. They roll their eyes as the match begins. DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. SHEAMUS; The pair lock up, and unlike last week, Sheamus takes a much more aggressive approach. He throws Ziggler around like a rag doll, throwing him into the corner and driving his shoulder into Ziggler's abdomen repeatedly before throwing him back down to the canvas. Sheamus beats his chest and shouts "Fella!", but no longer does he receive cheers for that, and all he hears is the sound of boos. But he doesn't care, smirking at the WWE Universe. He picks Ziggler up and lifts him onto his shoulder, preparing for a powerslam, but Ziggler slips off and hits Sheamus with a big superkick, taking the Celtic Warrior down. Ziggler goes for his signature elbow drops and hits nine of them in succession. He goes for the final one, but Sheamus moves and instead hits one of his own. He lifts Ziggler onto his shoulder again and this time connects with the powerslam. Hooking the leg, he looks to take the match but Ziggler kicks out. Sheamus spreads his arms out wide and backs into the corner, apparently ready for the Brogue Kick. He goes for it, but Ziggler ducks and turns around, hitting Sheamus with a dropkick right on the jaw. Both men are out on the mat. On commentary, Del Rio says that now is the time to prove why he should have won the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He slams the headset down and grabs the now smaller trophy from ringside. He jumps onto the ring apron but the referee stops him. Del Rio argues with him, but he throws the trophy into the ring, conveniently into Sheamus' grasp. As the referee continue to argue with Del Rio, Sheamus and Ziggler get to their feet, and Ziggler has no idea - BAM! Sheamus clocks Ziggler with the tropy and quickly rolls it under the ropes. He hooks the leg and Del Rio jumps down from the apron, allowing the referee to count the pinfall. Sheamus defeats Dolph Ziggler! After the match, Del Rio slides into the ring and starts stomping down on Ziggler. Sheamus gets to his feet and he joins the attack, the crowd booing as Ziggler is beaten down by these two relentless individuals. But suddenly, the Intercontinental Champion, Big E bursts out from the stage and bolts down the ramp. He slides into the ring but unfortunately, Sheamus and Del Rio jump out of the ring before he can get his hands on them. Del Rio runs up the ramp, but Sheamus slowly backs away with a grin on his face, pointing at Big E and then motioning around his waist, suggesting that he wants to be Intercontinental Champion. Big E looks out with a scowl.
We go backstage into the official of the Authority. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are stood talking to Kane, Batista and Randy Orton. "What happened out there tonight can not happen again, do you understand me?" Triple H declares, "We cannot let Daniel Bryan do this to us". He looks at Batista and Orton, "You two are going to be in action tonight against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, and I want them taken out, understand?". Batista responds, telling Triple H that he doesn't need telling to end someone, he just does it. Orton says that they'll get the job done. They leave and Kane remains stood in front of Triple H, holding his jaw from earlier. "And you, I don't know what's wrong with you, but this can't happen again. What happened to you?" asks the Game, Kane looking on in confusion as to what he means. "The old Kane wouldn't have let that little troll get one over on him like that. If we're going to do this WarGames thing, then I need the monster back, not this washed up joke". The crowd gasp as Kane becomes angry. He gets right in Triple H's face before responding with rage, "You want to see the monster? I'll give you the monster. Mark my words, Daniel Bryan will not get away with this again!". Kane storms out of the room and both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon look at each other before looking back out of the door.
A replay airs, showing what took place this past Friday on SmackDown when Rob Van Dam was about to defeat The Miz, but Bad News Barrett emerged, distracting the former World Champion and ended up costing him the match. Tonight, Barrett will once again be in action as he teams with The Miz to take on Rob Van Dam and Kofi Kingston. ROB VAN DAM & KOFI KINGSTON vs. BAD NEWS BARRETT & THE MIZ; Rob Van Dam and The Miz kick things off, revisiting their SmackDown match. Miz takes the advantage, grabbing RVD in a headlock and dragging him down to the canvas. Miz works over his opponent, keeping him grounded, knowing what RVD is capable off when he gets the chance to leave the ground. Miz tags in Barrett and he goes right to work on RVD, beating him down, looking for some physical revenge after last week on Raw when RVD beat him. He clubs down on RVD, showing his brawling side and bounces RVD off the ropes. He goes for a big clothesline, but RVD ducks under and instead hits Barrett with a big heel kick! The crowd pop as they will RVD towards his corner to tag in Kofi Kingston. He manages to reach Kingston who springboards in, taking The Miz down with a big crossbody who had just tagged into the match himself. Kingston hits a big dropkick on Barrett who runs towards him and starts building up some serious momentum. Barrett rolls out of the ring and waves his hands, leaving ringside to the confusion of the WWE Universe. The Miz goes towards his corner, but he sees that Barrett has left. RVD watched Barrett walk around the ring and he's about to walk up the ramp when RVD runs across the apron and hits him with a big somersault plancha! The crowd cheer as Kofi Kingston slaps his hands and prepares for Miz to turn around. He goes for the Trouble In Paradise - but The Miz ducks underneath and instead grabs Kingston for the Skull-Crushing Finale. But Kingston reverses it himself, spinning around - S.O.S! He keeps the legs hooked and scores the pinfall. Rob Van Dam & Kofi Kingston defeat Bad News Barrett & The Miz!Kingston celebrated the victory as RVD joins him in the ring. Barrett quickly retreats up the ramp, a scowl on his face after being caught by RVD. The Miz rolls out of the ring and the two high-flyers celebrate their victory with the WWE Universe.
John Cena is shown making his way down a backstage corridor and Michael Cole tells us that John Cena is on his way to the ring to address the Wyatt Family. What will he have to say to the men who have tried so hard to get him to embrace his anger? Returning from the commercial break, the theme of John Cena hits to a mixed reaction here in Alabama. He makes his way to the ring in regular fashion and enters the ring, grabbing a microphone from ringside. As he lets the crowd noise die down, he begins to speak. "At WrestleMania, I wasn't able to overcome the Wyatt Family. And for the first time in my life, I let someone get into my head" Cena explains. He says that Bray Wyatt has found a way inside his head, something nobody else has ever done. Cena talks about the wars he has had with guys like Randy Orton, Triple H, Edge, Kane and The Rock, but says that nobody compares to what Bray Wyatt is. He says that Wyatt is a whole different person, and one that even he doesn't know if he can overcome. The crowd are in shock that John Cena, possibly for the first time, is doubting himself. "But I'll be damned if that means I'm gonna stop trying!" he shouts, the crowd popping as they see the intensity in his eyes. He says that Bray Wyatt may have found a way into his head, and he may have beaten him both physically and mentally, but he has never backed down from a fight. He has never given up. "And so help me, I will not give up this time!". There's a "Cena" chant in the crowd as he stares into the camera. "Bray Wyatt - I'm calling you out. We've got some unfinished business, dog". The crowd erupt and Cena looks ready to go. Suddenly, there's the signature flicker of footage and the lights shut off, the crowd going wild. The titantron switches on and Bray Wyatt is stood alongside both Erick Rowan and Luke Harper with the usual sadistic smile on his face. "John, John, John... I am different. You're right. But so are you, my friend. You see, we know tht in the dark depths of your soul... there's a monster waiting to be freed, hahahaha. And that monster will be freed, John. That monster will be freed in due time, because you cannot fight the truth, John. You cannot fight the truth that lies within you. You are not a man, John... you are a monster... like me. We are the same... you and I... haha... but the difference is... I accept my true self. I embrace the role as the creator of the new world... and you, John... you can embrace that role too. You can join the legion of followers that too see the light, and you can be better, John. At WrestleMania, hahahahaha, the process was only just beginning. You are growing weaker, John... and soon you will no longer be able to fight it. It's only a matter of time..." "Cut the crap, you freak!" exclaims Cena, the crowd erupting as he cuts Wyatt off. "I didn't come out here to get a lecture from your creepy ass, so listen up. You got the better of me at WrestleMania, and maybe you're right. Maybe there is a monster within me. And if there is, you got a date with it at Extreme Rules because I am gonna kick your ass!". The WWE Universe are deafening as Cena appears to have made a challenge to Bray Wyatt, who laughs on the titantron. "How about you bring your circus show to Extreme Rules on May 4th and we'll see just how much fight you got in you - in a Last Man Standing Match!". The roof comes unglued in the BJCC Arena as Cena lays it out for Wyatt. Wyatt looks down from the titantron with a sadistic smile on his face. "You've got yourself a deal, John... hahahaha... I'll see you then, my friend. He's got the whooooooole world... in his hands, he's got the whole world... in his... hands". The titantron shuts off and Cena looks on with a stern look on his face. "I promise each and every one of you, that if I'm going to go down at the hands of Bray Wyatt... I'm taking him with me" declares Cena as he slams the microphone into the mat and leaves to his theme. The commentary team discuss the carnage that may ensue when John Cena collides with Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing Match. That's in just three weeks at Extreme Rules!
Before the match, we are shown a replay of last week when NXT Diva, Paige made her Raw debut, challenging AJ Lee to a match for her Divas Championship. But of course, AJ Lee claimed that Paige "wasn't worthy" and so put Tamina Snuka in the match with her instead. Paige shocked the world (and AJ Lee) when she beat Tamina in the middle of the ring, showing that she had what it takes to go far here in the WWE. Tonight, Paige is in action against Alicia Fox, but suspiciously, the Divas Champion and her muscle are at ringside on commentary. PAIGE vs. ALICIA FOX; Alicia Fox doesn't seem too impressed with Paige, flicking her hair at the NXT Diva, but Paige put that to an end, delivering a spear to Fox, taking her to the canvas. Paige continued to beat down on Alicia, showing her dominance, clearly trying to send a message to AJ Lee and the WWE Universe loved it. Although, while Paige couldn't hear it, AJ was saying how Paige shows such inexperience in the ring and couldn't even hold a candle to her. AJ says that Paige's victory over Tamina was a fluke and that she still hasn't proved anything. Alicia Fox starts to battle back and even prepares to put an end to the match with her signature Axe Kick, but Paige avoids the shot and instead drops Alicia right on her head with the Paige Turner and hooked her leg for the three. Paige defeats Alicia Fox!Following her victory, Paige immediately walked over the ropes and pointed to AJ Lee, making sure she knew that she still had every intention of taking her on for the Divas Championship, but AJ completely blanked Paige, leaving ringside with Tamina without even looking up at the NXT Diva. AJ and Tamina left up the ramp, the referee raising Paige's hand, but Paige wasn't happy at being ignored. Perhaps AJ should pay a little more attention to this rising Diva.
As most in the WWE Universe will already be aware, this past week, the world lost a legend in the Ultimate Warrior. Tonight's broadcast is dedicated to Warrior and his legacy. We see a video package highlighting his illustrious career in the WWE, including his big victory over Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania to capture the WWE Championship for the first time. The package ends on a shot of him being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this past WrestleMania weekend. As the package fades, there's a "Warrior" chant in the BJCC Arena, and Michael Cole simply says "Thank you, Warrior" as the scene fades to black.
We are shown The Shield backstage to a huge pop from the WWE Universe. They are preparing for their matches tonight. Ambrose says that WarGames will be the perfect way to get their hands on the Authority and pay them back for all the orders they've had to follow the past eight months. Rollins agrees, saying that they will finally get the chance to redeem themselves. Reigns says that he's going to break them all in half when they're locked inside that cage together. Rollins asks Ambrose if he's ready to defend his United States Championship later, and Ambrose says that he knows the Authority have given Christian the shot to throw him off, but he promises he will leave tonight with the title still in his possession. They all put their hands in the middle of their little circle and both Rollins and Reigns leave as their match with Batista and Randy Orton is next.
The WWE Universe are ready for more Raw action and they erupt as Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of The Shield make their entrance. We are reminded that last week, The Shield stuck it to the Authority and sided with Daniel Bryan to even the odds. We are also reminded that earlier tonight, Triple H accepted Hulk Hogan's suggestion that he and the Authority should take on Daniel Bryan and The Shield in a WarGames Match at Extreme Rules. This next match will be the perfect way to build some momentum for either team. BATISTA & RANDY ORTON vs. SETH ROLLINS & ROMAN REIGNS; Seth Rollins and Randy Orton start the match, and having faced each other on SmackDown this past Friday, they didn't waste any time in kicking it off, trading right hands straight away. Orton takes control, dropping Rollins with a clothesline and stomping down on the architect of The Shield. Orton tags in Batista who comes in and powers his way through Rollins. Batista gives a look over to Roman Reigns and smirks at him, causing Reigns to try entering the ring, but the referee stops him. Orton uses this opportunity to jump in himself and beat down on Rollins with Batista. Orton quickly hops back out of the ring as the referee turns back around, oblivious to what had happened. Batista throws Rollins into the corner nad hits him with some big shoulder blocks to the gut. The Animal throws Rollins into the center of the ring with a big hip toss and covers him, but Rollins kicks out. Batista tags Orton back in and the Viper goes to work on the limbs of Rollins, targeting every one to try and completely incapacitate him. Orton picks Rollins up, but he begins too fight back with forearms. Rollins runs towards his corner, but Orton drags him down viciously by his hair. He quickly drags Rollins back to his own corner and tags in Batista. Evolution are reliving the glory days as they isolate Rollins and maintain control. But suddenly, Rollins explodes with a big superkick to Batista, dropping him to the canvas. Rollins crawls with every last breath to his corner, but Batista grabs his leg. Rollins hits him with big enziguiri and leaps forward - tagging in Roman Reigns! Reigns explodes into the match as the crowd go nuts, he clotheslines Batista and follows through, knocking Orton off the apron. Reigns roars and slams his fist into the canvas, preparing to hit the Superman Punch on Batista, but Orton grabs his leg from the outside. Rollins gets on the apron and runs, leaping off and taking Orton out with a big knee off the apron! Reigns returns his focus to Batista and goes for the Superman Punch, but Batista avoids it and bounces of the ropes - Spear by Batista! Batista spears Reigns! Batista does the thumbs down and picks Reigns up for the Batista Bomb, but Reigns runs him into the corner to escape. However, Reigns doesn't see Orton jump onto the apron and blind tag Batista. He pulls Batista out of the corner, bounces him off the ropes - Spear by Reigns! He drills Batista with the Spear and hooks the leg, but the referee tells Reigns that Batista isn't the legal man. He gets to his feet asking what the referee means and turns around - RKO! Orton hooks the leg - 1 - 2 - 3! Batista & Randy Orton defeat Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns!Orton quickly rolls out of the ring, dragging Batista with him and the Evolution team mates retreat up the ramp. Rollins slides into the ring and tends to his fallen partner, looking up the ramp in anger. The Authority have just levelled the playing field tonight against their Extreme Rules opponents. We are reminded that later tonight, Dean Ambrose will defend his United States Championship in a match authorised by Triple H against Christian.
Before the next match, we are told that this Friday on SmackDown, the respective partners of Jey Uso and Cesaro will take each other on as Jimmy Uso goes head-to-head with Jack Swagger. JEY USO vs. CESARO; After their victory last week on Raw, the Real Americans earned the right to be number one contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships. Tonight, Jey Uso takes on Cesaro in one of two matches between the two teams this week. Before the bell, Cesaro extends a hand to Jey Uso and after a bit of hesitation, Jey Uso takes it. On the outside, Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter ask Cesaro what he thinks he's doing, but he shrugs his shoulders at them before locking up. Cesaro gets the opening advantage, using his strength to keep hold of the Uso. Cesaro ends up throwing Jey to the outside, and Swagger approaches him. The referee warns Swagger to stay away and he raises his hands in the air, apparently saying he wasn't going to do anything. But Zeb Colter starts arguing with the referee distracting him, and Swagger drills Jey Uso with a huge boot to the skull. The crowd boo, but they cheer as Jimmy Uso runs around the ring and takes Swagger out with a flying forearm! Cesaro leaves the ring amidst the carnage and throws Jey back into the ring. He picks him up and bounces him off the ropes. Catapulting Jey into the air, he looks to go for the Very European Uppercut, but Jey somehow manages to manoeuvre himself mid-air and drops down on Cesaro with a big dropkick. Jey gets back to his feet and waits for Cesaro to get up as well. He goes for a Superkick, but Cesaro catches his leg, trips him up and the crowd erupt as he begins to Cesaro Swing Jey round and round at least fifteen times. Outside the ring, Jack Swagger beats down on Jimmy Uso, bouncing his head off the announce desk. Cesaro sees this and leans over the ropes, shouting at Swagger to stop. Swagger shouts "Get on with the match!" at Cesaro who shakes his head and turns back around - Superkick from Jey Uso! He hooks Cesaro's leg and picks up the victory! Jey Uso defeats Cesaro!Jack Swagger suddenly stops assaulting Jimmy Uso and stares into the ring, realising Cesaro had just lost. He and Zeb Colter get in the ring as Jey Uso grabs his brother and helps him up the ramp, their titles in their grasp. Cesaro gets to his feet looking disappointed and Colter shouts at him. "What was that?!" he screams, and Cesaro doesn't respond. Colter and Swagger storm off, Cesaro following shortly after.
Returning from a commercial break, the Real Americans are backstage, arguing about what just happened. Cesaro says that there was no need for Swagger to attack Jimmy Uso like that, but Swagger says that Cesaro has lost his ruthlessness ever since the fans started cheering for him. "Have you forgotten why we do this, Cesaro? Have you forgotten that I took you under my wing because I saw potential in you?" asks Colter, and Cesaro tells him he hasn't. "Good" replies Colter, and tells Cesaro and Swagger to pull their heads together because they have WWE Tag Team Championships to win. He pats them both on the back and leaves, Cesaro and Swagger staring into each other's eyes. "I'll show you how to get it done on SmackDown" says Swagger, before leaving. Cesaro looks on, sighing to himself.
A replay from SmackDown is shown, Alexander Rusev dismantling the World's Largest Athlete, the Big Show, completely unprovoked. The Bulgarian Brute beat down the giant and left him laying, something very few men have ever been able to do in the history of the WWE. Tonight, Rusev is in action against Zack Ryder. ALEXANDER RUSEV vs. ZACK RYDER; After witnessing such a vicious beat down on the Big Show, it's safe to say that Zack Ryder was a little nervous going into tonight's match. But he has never been one to back out of a fight. The Long Island Iced Z went right on the attack, delivering some hard rights to Rusev after the bell and looked to be in good stead, but it wasn't long before the brute force of Rusev came into play as he delivered a thunderous headbutt, Ryder dropping to the canvas. From then on, Rusev dominated the match, throwing Ryder around the ring like he was a child. He threw Ryder into the corner and followed it up with a huge avalanche splash, crushing the former United States Champion. He then bounced Ryder off the ropes before throwing him high into the air and planting him with a vicious Samoan drop. Rusev rolled Ryder onto his front and raised his hands in the air to a ton of heat from the WWE Universe. He then squatted over the back of Ryder and locked in the camel clutch that he calls the Accolade, and Ryder had absolutely no choice but to submit. Alexander Rusev defeats Zack Ryder!Lana entered the ring and applauded her client, shouting Russian at the WWE Universe, only creating more boos. But suddenly, the arena erupted as the theme of the Big Show hit and the World's Largest Athlete rushed to the ring. Rusev prepared himself as the giant slid into the ring and he went right on the attack, just like on SmackDown. But this time, Big Show was prepared and as Rusev ran towards him, Show stood his ground and the two behemoths collided in the center of the ring, neither man moving an inch, almost shaking the very foundations of the building with the impact of their clash. Show and Rusev stand face-to-face with intensity in their eyes. But suddenly, Rusev backs away and leaves the ring to countless boos. He and Lana leave up the ramp as Big Show stands in the ring looking ready for a fight. Will these two clash in the ring in the near future?
On commentary, Michael Cole informs us that tomorrow night, live on the WWE Network, John Cena will be in action against Wyatt Family member, Luke Harper on WWE Main Event! The crowd go wild as the graphic below is shown on the titantron and on our screens. John Cena will get his opportunity to get his hands on at least one Family member before he takes on Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing Match at Extreme Rules, as we learned earlier tonight on Raw. "The Energy" by Shinedown begins to play as we see the United States Champion, Dean Ambrose leaving his Shield partners behind on the left hand side of the screen, while on the right hand side, a very desperate Christian slaps his face, pumping himself up for tonight's big main event. That's next!
As Raw returns, we are reminded that Christian practically begged the Authority for this match, unashamed that he is indeed desperate for a win and will do whatever it takes. The bell rings and the match gets under way. UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - DEAN AMBROSE © vs. CHRISTIAN; The United States Champion goes right to work on Christian, hitting him with right hands and backing him into the corner. As the referee pries Ambrose away, Christian hits an underhanded slap across the face, drawing boos from the crowd. Ambrose gets mad and lunges at Christian, but the former World Champion hides behind the ropes, telling the referee to get Ambrose away. Christian takes advantage and jumps on Ambrose's back, dragging him to the canvas. Christian mounts his opponent and begins to deliver hard rights hands, showing his desperation. This match means everything to Christian, but the WWE Universe are firmly behind Dean Ambrose. Christian picks Ambrose up and throws him into the corner. He then grabs him by the head and jumps up on the top rope, coming back down and driving Ambrose head-first into the mat with an impressive tornado DDT. He hooks the leg, but Ambrose kicks out at two. Christian climbs to the top rope again, but this time, Ambrose is right there to stop him and he turns the tables grabbing Christian - superplex! Both men crash to the canvas with impact. Ambrose gets up first and picks Christian up to his feet. He bounces him off the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Christian ducks underneath, grabbing Ambrose's arm and turns him around, apparently going for the Killswitch! But Ambrose shoves Christian away into the turnbuckle and then grabs him from behind before planting him with a huge German suplex! He bridges and maintains the pinfall, but Christian kicks out. Christian rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, but Ambrose follows him, not allowing him to regain any stamina. But Christian grabs Ambrose and bounces his head off the steel steps, and then viciously throws him into the barricade. "This is my match! I need this!" he screams, the crowd in the front row heavily heckling the former World Champion. He picks Ambrose up and then grabs him from behind, dropping him with a hard inverted DDT on the arena floor. He rolls Ambrose back into the ring and covers him, but Ambrose kicks out. Christian starts getting frustrated, slamming the mat. He gets up and starts to clap his hands, setting up for the Killswitch once more. He grabs Ambrose, but again, Ambrose shoves him off, into the ropes this time, and when he bounces back, he kicks Christian in the gut - Dirty Deeds! The headlock driver connects and both man are out. Ambrose is about to cover Christian when suddenly, there's an explosion of fire! The crowd boo as they see Kane emerge from the stage, walking slowly down the ramp. Ambrose looks up and sees Kane, but he doesn't see Randy Orton and Batista coming in from the back. He turns around and see them on the apron and runs at them, but they both jump off. Suddenly, Daniel Bryan emerges from the stage behind Kane and attacks him from behind! The crowd erupt as Bryan begins to stomp down on Kane. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns emerge from the crowd and begin to brawl with Randy Orton and Batista! All hell breaks loose and the referee leaves the ring to try and stop the brawl on the outside. But suddenly - it's Triple H! Triple H enters the ring and kicks Ambrose in the gut - Pedigree! Triple H quickly rolls out of the ring and gets the referee, ordering him to get back in the ring. He does and Christian slowly crawls over to Ambrose - 1 - 2 - 3! Christian is the new United States Champion! The crowd boo as loud as they can as Christian rolls out of the ring and his handed the United States Championship. Triple H quickly retreats up the ramp alongside Batista, Randy Orton and Kane who escape the clutches of their rivals. Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns all enter the ring to check on Ambrose. Triple H raises the hand of Christian to an enormous amount of heat, but Christian is ecstatic. He clutches the title to his chest and is close to tears, having finally won something for the first time in a long time. The Authority have just got one over on Bryan and The Shield, adding more fuel to the fire for WarGames on May 4th. Daniel Bryan and The Shield stand in the ring together and look out at their Authority counterparts with angry expressions. This is most definitely war.

WWE Main Event: April 15th, 2014 - Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, Tennessee
Opening tonight's edition of Main Event on the WWE Network was a video package that recapped the events at the conclusion of Monday Night RAW last night. As Dean Ambrose was putting the United States Championship on the line against Christian, all hell broke loose as we saw involvement from the likes of Batista, Randy Orton, Kane, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan. However, it was a Pedigree from Triple H that sealed the deal and allowed Christian to become the new United States Champion. With War Games on the horizon at Extreme Rules, the war between both sides is as heated as it's ever been. JOHN CENA vs. LUKE HARPER; Awaiting John Cena at Extreme Rules is a Last Man Standing match against Bray Wyatt, the opportunity for him to restore his legacy that was vandalized at WrestleMania XXX. However, tonight, Cena's sole focus was one of the members of The Wyatt Family, Luke Harper. After Cena was knocked to the outside, Erick Rowan slowly approached him. Cena was quick to retaliate as he charged towards Rowan, ramming him into the steel ring post. That distraction allowed Harper the chance to regain control of the bout, delivering a suicide dive through the second rope. From there, the match remained in Harper's favor until Cena was able to dodge a Lariat, delivering one of his own that rocked the big man. Cena was fired up, preparing to hoist Harper up to his shoulders. Suddenly, Rowan stepped onto the ring apron. Once again, Cena eliminated the distraction by striking Rowan, but the shot only rocked him a bit. When Cena turned around, he saw Harper coming full speed at him. Cena moved out of harm's way, Harper inadvertently colliding with Rowan! With Harper dazed momentarily, Cena was able to take advantage of the opening and deliver an Attitude Adjustment to pick up the win. John Cena defeats Luke Harper!A portion of the audience erupted as Cena stood to his feet, raising his arms in triumph after a big victory here on Main Event. His celebration was short lived, however, as Erick Rowan entered the ring and went right after him. As Rowan delivered a beating to Cena, Luke Harper joined him as the two Wyatt Family members were prepared to decimate Cena. That was not to be as Bray Wyatt stood up from his rocking chair at ringside, calling off the attack. "Now is not the time! Let the monster breathe!" shouted Wyatt, Rowan and Harper releasing Cena and exiting the ring. All three members of the Wyatt Family backed up the entrance ramp, Bray preferring to wait until Extreme Rules to release every bit of Cena's "inner monster."
A promo airs for WWE Legends' House, premiering this Thursday exclusively on the WWE Network! THE BELLA TWINS vs. SUMMER RAE & EVA MARIE; A bit of action from four of Total Divas' stars here on Main Event. After all four competitors failed to claim the Divas Championship at WrestleMania, each were looking to regain both momentum and contention to AJ Lee's title. After Nikki delivered a running Bulldog to Summer Rae, Eva Marie was able to intervene and break up the pin attempt. Brie went after Eva, taking her down with a Thesz Press before climbing onto the second rope. "Brie mode!" she shouted before hitting Eva with a Missile Dropkick. As Brie was getting to her feet, Summer struck her from behind and knocked her out of the ring. Things went south for Summer from there as Nikki lifted her onto her shoulders, finishing her off with the Rack Attack to grab the victory for her twin and herself. The Bella Twins defeat Summer Rae & Eva Marie!A slight pop emerged as Brie joined Nikki in the ring, the two sisters celebrating their victory. The commentary unit gave a plug for Total Divas while two of the show's stars stood tall on Main Event.
A promo was shown for Extreme Rules, featuring WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan leading a rally for the "Yes Movement." Extreme Rules comes your way May 4th on the WWE Network! A graphic is shown for the announced main event this Friday on SmackDown. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan takes on Alberto Del Rio! With Extreme Rules looming, we can only imagine that the rest of the combatants in the War Games match won't be too far behind. MARK HENRY vs. DREW MCINTYRE; With a chance to get back on track, the "World's Strongest Man" found himself up against one-third of the trio known at 3MB. At one point in the bout, McIntyre exited the ring to discuss strategy with Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater. Henry stuck his arm out through the second rope, grabbing McIntyre by his hair and pulling him back into the ring. Slater and Mahal backed away, not wanting any part of Henry. The "World's Strongest Man" continued to dominate from that point on, eventually planting McIntyre with the World's Strongest Slam to gain the victory. Mark Henry defeats Drew McIntyre! The WWE Universe applauded as Mark Henry stood to his feet, beating his chest before raising his arms in high in the air. Jinder Mahal attempted to pull Drew McIntyre's near-lifeless body out of the ring, but Henry scared him away. "Y'all want some, too?!" shouted Henry towards Slater and Mahal as they simply abandoned McIntyre, heading for the curtain. Henry continued to celebrate, bringing Main Event on the WWE Network to a close.

WWE NXT: April 17th, 2014 - Full Sail University, Winter Park, Florida
Following the usual intro, shots of the audience here at Full Sail University were shown as Todd Philips, Byron Saxton and Jason Albert welcomed everyone to another edition of NXT on the WWE Network! In tonight's main event, the next challenge for Adrian Neville's NXT Championship will be determined as Bo Dallas, Brodus Clay and Tyson Kidd battle it out in a Triple Threat match. First, however, we kick things off with the third encounter between two NXT's hottest stars. SAMI ZAYN vs. COREY GRAVES; A red-hot way to kick off NXT on the WWE Network as Sami Zayn and Corey Graves competed in a rubber match. Graves attempted to repeat their last encounter, which ended when Zayn was unresponsive while in the Lucky 13 submission hold. However, Zayn was able to fight off the hold and reach the ropes this time around. Graves tossed Zayn to the outside, but was planted with a Northern Lights Suplex onto the floor. Graves backed against the barricade as Zayn charged towards him with a running Yakuza Kick. Graves fell into the audience as Zayn went back into the ring, the commentators believing that he was going to take a count out victory. However, Zayn leaped onto the top rope, coming off with a dive onto Graves in the crowd! The NXT Universe roared as both Zayn and Graves were down and out, neither being able to make it back into the ring. Sami Zayn and Corey Graves fought to a double count out!Several officials opened the barricade to tend to both Corey Graves and Sami Zayn as both men remained down and out. A replay of Zayn's incredible dive was shown before we saw him and Graves be assisted up to their feet. "Is the Full Sail Arena even big enough for these two to settle the score?" asked Jason Albert commentary.
An advertisement was shown WWE Legends' House, premiering immediately following NXT on the WWE Network! TYLER BREEZE vs. MASON RYAN; At the sound of the bell, Tyler Breeze stared at Mason Ryan for a bit before simply saying, "Ew." Ryan tried to get a hold of Breeze, but the "Gorgeous One" was able to keep his distance for a bit until he leaped off the second rope, Ryan catching him with a strike to the abdominal area. Ryan stayed in control for most of the match, tossing Breeze around. As Ryan was looking to lock in the Torture Rack, Breeze managed to slide off of his shoulders, rolling him up with a handful of tights to steal this one. Tyler Breeze defeats Mason Ryan!Tyler Breeze quickly rolled out of the ring at the sound of the bell, evading the wrath of Mason Ryan. The "Gorgeous One" took several selfies while on the entrance ramp, celebrating a victory despite his tactics.
Backstage, Devin Taylor was standing by with the NXT Women's Champion, Paige. She said that ever since Paige hit the scene on the main WWE roster, many have asked how that will affect her position here on NXT. "Well, Devin, the answer is very simple - it doesn't. Just because I made an impact on RAW does not mean that I won't continue to do the same here on NXT. Take next week for example. It's going to be Bayley and myself competing against Charlotte and Sasha Banks. So this message that I am sending can apply to any Diva out there. Whether it be Sasha, Charlotte or even you, AJ Lee. Be afraid because I have not even begun to leave my mark on the WWE." THE ASCENSION vs. LOCAL COMPETITORS; Once again, the NXT Tag Team Champions found themselves competing against two young upstarts who were hoping to make an impact. The result was no different, though. Konnor and Viktor were able to run roughshod through their opponents, finishing off one of them with the Fall of Man double team manoeuvre to score another win. The Ascension defeats Local Competitors!Konnor and Viktor both stood over one of their decimated opponents before taking the NXT Tag Team Championships. Soon, however, they were interrupted by the arrival of Collin Cassady and the returning Enzo Amore! Amore, who was limping a bit, said that he ain't 100% just yet, but he only needs to be at least 49.2% to prove that the Ascension are nothing but fugazi's. "Let me put it like this. You two have done nothing but beat on a buncha jabronis, thinking that makes you the bees' knees or something. That don't prove squat. You two also come out here with your super menacing music and gear from Party City to try and cover the fact that the both are you are S-A-W-F-T, SAWFT!!" shouted Amore and the NXT Universe simultaneously. Cassady then said that their purpose of being out here is to let the Ascension know something. "Once 'Zo is good to go, which will be very, very soon, you two are going to be lying on your backs, counting the number of lights in the ceiling while we become the new NXT Tag Team Champions. How ya doin'?" said Cassady to a big pop from the audience. The Ascension were none too amused, but it would appear that a legitimate challenge for the NXT Tag Team Champions may be on the verge in the form of Enzo Amore and Collin Cassady!
A graphic was shown to promote the Triple Threat #1 contenders match, which is coming up next. Who will claim the right to challenge Adrian Neville for the NXT Championship? We will find out shortly. #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH - BRODUS CLAY vs. BO DALLAS vs. TYSON KIDD; With NXT Champion, Adrian Neville, on commentary, three superstars battled it out for the right to challenge him for the gold. It appeared as if Tyson Kidd and Bo Dallas had formed an alliance early on as they teamed up to take Brodus Clay out of the ring, but Kidd then delivered a Dropkick to Dallas. Bit both Clay and Dallas on the outside, Kidd climbed onto the top rope and descended onto them. Towards the conclusion of the match, Dallas attempted a Spear, but he ended up running into Tyson Kidd's kneecap. Kidd then attempted to apply the Sharpshooter, but before he could, Clay ran into him with the Fall of Humanity, covering him to grab the victory. Brodus Clay defeats Bo Dallas and Tyson Kidd to become the number one contender! The NXT Universe expressed their displeasure for the outcome as Brodus Clay stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory while a banner appeared on the screen to confirm his position as the #1 contender. Adrian Neville stood up from his seat at the announce booth, raising the NXT Championship high in the air while Clay stared at it. Some day soon, Neville and Clay will collide with NXT's crown jewel up for grabs!

Friday Night SmackDown: April 18th, 2014 - Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, Tennessee
This week’s Smackdown kicks off with a video showing the major announcement of made this past Monday when Hulk Hogan suggested that Daniel Bryan, The Shield and the Authority settle their differences the way things got handled back in WCW. Daniel Bryan made the challenge and Triple H accepted and War Games is coming to Extreme Rules! Michael Cole and John “Bradshaw” Layfield introduce the broadcast as the camera pans over the fans in Nashville, Tennessee. They remind everyone that this past Monday on Raw, Christian weaselled his way to becoming the new United States Champion when he used the help of the Authority to end Dean Ambrose’s near year long reign. A graphic is shown for tonight’s main event, pitting WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan against Alberto Del Rio! However, things are going to open with a major tag team contest. BATISTA & RANDY ORTON vs. THE BROTHERHOOD; Cody Rhodes and Goldust know a thing or two about having issues with the Authority as they fought for their jobs at the tail end of last year. Despite the fact that they were against each other in the main event of WrestleMania XXX, Batista and Randy Orton form a formidable tag team. Cody starts out with Orton, reminding everyone of their great match on Raw last year. After some back and forth action, Goldust gets the tag and he gets a near fall after hitting Orton with a top rope hurricanrana, which got a huge pop. A swift headlock backbreaker puts Orton in the driver’s seat before he tags in Batista. Batista continues to be the “Animal” as he is just vicious in his assault on Goldust. He drives his shoulder into Goldust’s ribcage a few times in the corner, before nailing a big sidewalk slam. Goldust kicks out of the pin attempt, but Batista and Orton continue to cut the ring in half. Goldust uses a DDT to stop their momentum and tags in Cody. Cody comes in with springboard dropkicks and a big moonsault for two. He sets up Orton for the Cross Rhodes, but Batista levels him with a big Spear. Batista knocks Goldust off the apron as Orton connects with the RKO to end the competitive match. Batista & Randy Orton defeat The Brotherhood!Batista and Randy Orton don’t decide to just sit back and celebrate their win. They want to send a message so they continue to beat down on the former WWE Tag Team Champions. The Shield’s theme hits as the WWE Universe pops and the Hounds of Justice come through the crowd. Batista and Orton roll out of the ring and head up the ramp just like last week. The Shield dares them to get in the ring, when fire explodes out of the turnbuckles and Kane comes to the stage with Batista and Orton. He says that this past Monday, he somehow let Daniel Bryan best him, but he won’t be on the losing end of things tonight. He announces that tonight he will go one on one with the former United States Champion, Dean Ambrose and he will give him a preview of War Games.
A video package showing some of the history of War Games is shown, with a voiceover explaining how brutal and barbaric this match can be. The Big Show’s theme hits as the “World’s Largest Athlete” walks down to the ring as the crowd pops. A quick recap of Alexander Rusev attacking him last week on Smackdown is shown. Show grabs a microphone and says that last week, he defeated Brodus Clay, only to be attacked by Alexander Rusev. Show says that he’s never had an issue with Rusev and has no idea why he attacked him. However, on Monday, he came out to confront Rusev and he backed away to hide behind Lana’s skirt. The WWE Universe laughs at that remark and Show says that he’s out here to get to the bottom of this problem, once and for all. The voice of the “Ravishing Russian” is heard as Lana walks out to the stage, followed closely by the “Bulgarian Brute.” When Lana begins to speak in English, she says that Rusev came to the WWE to make an impact and the best way to make an impact is to take down the biggest man, which is Big Show. Show replies by saying that plenty of Superstars have tried to take him out and have failed because he is not a stepping stone. He challenges Rusev to prove himself in a match at Extreme Rules. Lana says something in the ear of Rusev and he nods his head yes. It looks like a battle of the behemoths is set for May 4th! Returning, Renee Young is standing by with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan. She asks him for thoughts on the main event against Alberto Del Rio tonight and the upcoming War Games match. Bryan says that he’s faced Del Rio before and he knows he has to be a fighting Champion, so he’s prepared for tonight. However, there is no real way to prepare for War Games. He could go and watch War Games matches on the WWE Network, but that won’t help. He just knows that when he gets into that cage with The Shield and The Authority, he will hold nothing back and finally end this thing with The Authority once and for all. JIMMY USO vs. JACK SWAGGER; This past Monday night on Raw, Jey Uso defeated the very hot Cesaro in singles action after he got distracted when Jack Swagger attacked Jimmy Uso. Tonight, Swagger looks to even the score between these teams in singles competition. Swagger offers a handshake just like Cesaro did on Monday. Jimmy is hesitant, but goes for it, only for Swagger to level him with a right hand. The crowd boos as Swagger begins to work over Jimmy, focusing on his leg, as he is readying the Patriot Lock at some point. He drops a knee on the ankle and a chop block. Swagger uses a northern lights suplex to set up the Swagger Bomb in the corner that gets him a near fall. Jimmy Uso takes advantage when Swagger goes for a back body drop, by hitting a quick DDT. Jimmy follows with a Samoan drop and Swagger crawls to the corner, where he sits. Jimmy runs in and nails a hip attack as a tribute to his uncle Umaga. As Swagger gets up, Jimmy goes for a superkick, but Swagger catches it and locks in the Patriot Lock! Jimmy reaches for the ropes but it’s to no avail, as he is forced to tap out. Jack Swagger defeats Jimmy Uso!Zeb Colter and Cesaro enter the ring as Jack Swagger has his arms raised. He shouts “that’s how it’s done!” in the direction of Cesaro, leading Cesaro to give him a confused look. Cesaro turns Swagger to face him and they seem to argue a bit, but Zeb plays peacekeeper once again.
The Intercontinental Champion Big E is shown walking towards the arena as he will be in action against The Miz, next! Big E makes his way down to the ring to a nice pop from the WWE Universe when he is hit from behind by the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus! Sheamus pounds on him before tossing him into the turnbuckle post. Big E hunches over on the apron with his head by the post as Sheamus hits a sickening Brogue Kick that smashes Big E’s skull into the turnbuckle post! The crowd is stunned at this act of violence from their once beloved hero. Sheamus walks around to the timekeeper and grabs a microphone. “Big E, I want the Intercontinental Title and you’re going to give me a shot or things like this will continue to happen. Give me my title shot at Extreme Rules Big E. I’ll be waiting for your answer.” The WWE Universe boos loudly as Sheamus raises the Intercontinental Title high in the air. A recap is shown of Sheamus’ brutal assault on the Intercontinental Champion Big E is shown. Trainers and EMTs are shown in the back checking on Big E as he could be seriously hurt. DEAN AMBROSE vs. KANE; Dean Ambrose was clearly not in a good mood after losing the United States Title last week and he comes at Kane with a flurry of offense to begin the match. Ambrose fires away with lefts and rights, but Kane shoves him into the corner. Kane follows up with shoulder thrusts and a foot choke as The Shield look on from ringside. Kane whips Ambrose off the ropes and connects with a big boot for a near fall. Kane continues to hold serve as the Authority’s plea for a more aggressive Kane seems to something he’s taking seriously. Kane goes for a Tombstone too soon and it proves to be a mistake as Dean Ambrose wriggles free and hits him a few times. Kane shoves Ambrose to the ropes, where Ambrose rebounds off with a huge clothesline, taking the Big Red Monster off of his feet. Ambrose uncharacteristically climbs to the top but Kane stops him. He goes to slam Ambrose off the top, but Ambrose blocks it and hits a tornado DDT for a near fall. Ambrose runs off the ropes and nails a Knee Trembler, followed by his Headlock Driver and that is enough to put away Kane. Dean Ambrose defeats Kane!Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins enter the ring to celebrate with Dean Ambrose as Kane continues to try and find his “inner monster.” The Shield isn’t done though as they signal to set Kane up for the Triple Powerbomb but Batista and Randy Orton rush out and pull Kane from the ring.
A recap is shown of the promo between John Cena and Bray Wyatt on Raw. It included the announcement of their Last Man Standing match for Extreme Rules. Returning, the ring is set up for the Peep Show before the theme of Captain Charisma hits. Christian walks down to the ring with his brand new United States Title. He gets in the ring and says that he wanted to host this edition of the Peep Show as a treat to his peeps. He knows that they were all overjoyed when he won the United States Title last night and they had every reason to be. It was a night to remember and a time for celebration. He admits he had some rough patches over the past few months, but he is back on the right path and promises to be the kind of United States Champion that the peeps can appreciate. His guest on tonight’s Peep Show is himself, because there is none better. Surprisingly, Kofi Kingston’s theme hits as the Superstar from Ghana comes down to the ring. He gets in and grabs a microphone. Christian demands to know why Kofi interrupted him. Kofi says that he would like nothing more than to come out and congratulate Christian on another accomplishment in his great career, but he can’t. Kofi says, “For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a fan of yours. Whether it was when you were in the Brood, or Tag Team Champions with Edge or as Captain Charisma. Whether you did things for the peeps or yourself, I always had a bit of respect for you.” However, he has no respect for what happened last Monday. Instead of going out and winning the United States Title the right way, he used the help of the Authority and did it the wrong way. “What happened to you, man? This was the coward’s way” asked Kofi. Christian responds by saying that he doesn’t have to explain anything to him, and before he continues, he levels Kingston with the United States Title. Christian picks him up and delivers the Killswitch! He poses with the United States Title as the segment comes to a close. PAIGE vs. AKSANA; Much like Alicia Fox on Monday, Aksana did not seem impressed with Paige. The announcers put over how, despite saying she’s not worth it, AJ Lee has had her attention focused on the NXT Women’s Champion. This match starts aggressively as Paige grabs Aksana by the hair and tosses her across the ring. Aksana fights back after hitting a body slam. She stays in control for a bit until sending Paige into the corner. Paige grabs her and puts her in the corner before firing multiple back elbows furiously. Paige then hits a clothesline, keeps hold of Aksana’s arm, picks her up and hits another clothesline for a near fall. She goes for the Paige Turner, but Aksana elbows her to block it. Aksana swings, but Paige ducks and hits a suplex. She then puts her into the Scorpion Cross Lock and Aksana is forced to submit. Paige defeats Aksana!Paige has her arm raised by the referee as she picks up another victory since her debut on the main roster. AJ Lee is sure to be watching somewhere as Paige continues to look more and more like a viable threat to AJ Lee’s legendary Divas Championship reign.
Michael Cole informs the WWE Universe that Big E is recovering and does not have any long term injuries from Sheamus’ attack earlier. However, a graphic is shown announcing that he has agreed to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus at Extreme Rules!
Bad News Barrett’s theme song hits as he walks down to the ring for the next match. He has a microphone in his hand as he prepares to deliver bad news to the WWE Universe. He informs them that despite their happiness at the return of Rob Van Dam, it’s all going to be pointless excitement as once Bad News Barrett gets in the ring with RVD again; he’s going to want to retire for good. BAD NEWS BARRETT vs. SIN CARA; Before the match officially gets underway, “One of a Kind” blasts over the speakers as Rob Van Dam comes out to a huge pop. He walks to ringside and joins Michael Cole and JBL on commentary. Bad News Barrett gets a bit distracted by this, which allows Sin Cara to get off to a hot start. He connects with a spinning heel kick, hurricanrana and a plancha to the outside. Sin Cara has the crowd roaring, and he rolls Barrett back into the ring. He goes for a springboard, but Barrett catches him with a huge mid-air Winds of Change for a near fall. Barrett now has control as he puts Sin Cara in the corner and delivers multiple lefts and rights to his body. Barrett delivers a big hip toss out of the corner followed by a second rope elbow for another near fall. Rob Van Dam mentions that he thinks Barrett is a strong competitor, but he’s also a real jerk. Barrett begins to taunt in the direction of RVD, which allows Sin Cara to hit him with a springboard dropkick. He climbs to the top and attempts his senton bomb, but Barrett moves. Once Sin Cara gets up, he is nailed with a huge Bull Hammer, and that’s all Barrett needs for the win. Bad News Barrett defeats Sin Cara!Bad News Barrett throws a punch at the air and shouts “Boom!” before turning his attention to Rob Van Dam. Clear trash talk is doing back and forth, but RVD does his trademark taunt as the crowd chants “RVD” with him, before the cameras cut away.
A video is shown explaining the rules of War Games to the WWE Universe. DANIEL BRYAN vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO; A great change of pace for the main event here, as neither The Shield nor their opponents for Extreme Rules are at ringside. That allows this contest to be a good old fashioned one on one bout between two of the best on the roster. Daniel Bryan works over Alberto Del Rio’s arm to star the match and after a bit of that, Del Rio comes back by working over Bryan’s arm. Both men are clearly trying to set up for their submission finishers, which target the arm. Del Rio now holds serve with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and an arm wringer. Del Rio gets a few near falls, including one a bridging German suplex and begins to get frustrated. Bryan makes a comeback with a running elbow to the face, followed by kicking the second rope into Del Rio’s throat. Bryan climbs to the top, probably for a dropkick, but Del Rio is up and hits a big step up enziguri. He covers but Bryan gets a shoulder up. Del Rio begins to slap his arm, signaling for the Cross Armbreaker, but he gets distracted by the sight of Dolph Ziggler walking down to the ring with his Andre the Giant Battle Royal trophy. Del Rio shouts for the referee to force him to leave. Del Rio goes back to trying the Cross Armbreaker and locks it in! Bryan manages to wriggle out of it and reverse it into the Yes Lock! Del Rio is forced to submit as Bryan picks up the win! Daniel Bryan defeats Alberto Del Rio!The referee hands Daniel Bryan his belts as he raises them in the air and the WWE Universe chants “Yes!” at the top of their lungs. Dolph Ziggler is shown smiling as he walks to the back with his trophy. Momentum has been built for War Games by Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose tonight!

Monday Night Raw: April 21st, 2014 - Baltimore Arena, Baltimore, Maryland
Following the weekly Raw intro, the camera cuts straight to the arena where a giant Hell in a Cell is surrounding the ring, confusing some of the WWE Universe. A theme song that hasn’t been heard in nearly a decade hits as Evolution comes out to the stage. Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista are all in suits and walk down to the ring before getting in the cell. “The Shield and Daniel Bryan have made some terrible mistakes over the past few weeks” says Triple H. “Last week I mentioned that when the Shield turned their backs on the Authority they would regret it and what you see standing before you is the reason why. When Evolution was together nearly ten years ago nobody could stop us and the Shield and Daniel Bryan have forced our hand to become one again.” The WWE Universe boos heavily at Evolution. Randy Orton speaks now, “The Rock, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, Bill Goldberg and countless others have all tried and failed to stop Evolution. Daniel Bryan and The Shield will fall just like they did.” Orton continues by saying that people have been saying that The Shield could be the greatest faction in the history of the WWE, but that is an absurd thing to say knowing that Evolution exists. Triple H states that they are not reunited on a full time basis but they will be here to humble the Shield. They’ve gotten too big for their britches in Hunter’s mind and he guarantees that when they step into the ring with Evolution, they will learn who’s in charge the hard way. Batista speaks now, “At Extreme Rules, The Shield and Daniel Bryan step into this Cell with us and Kane for War Games. At Extreme Rules, The Shield will be humbled and at Extreme Rules, we will see the end of the Shield. Deal with it.”
Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler and John “Bradshaw” Layfield take over now informing the WWE Universe that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have scheduled The Shield for a match tonight against Damien Sandow and Rybaxel. Plus, John Cena will take on Erick Rowan of the Wyatt Family and of course, an appearance by Hugh Jackman who was last seen on Raw knocking out Dolph Ziggler! There’s no telling what he’s going to do tonight!
We return to see a video of the Peep Show this past Friday on Smackdown, where Christian was celebrating his United States Championship victory only to be interrupted by Kofi Kingston. Kofi said that he used to look up to Christian, but the way he won the United States Title is a shame. The segment ended as Christian attacked Kofi with the belt and hit the Killswitch. CHRISTIAN vs. KOFI KINGSTON; After the events of The Peep Show, Christian demanded this match stating that he wanted to teach Kofi Kingston a lesson. Christian was clearly playing the role of the wily veteran as whenever they would lock up; Christian would best Kofi and slap him in the back of the head. Christian goes for a fourth straight slap, but Kingston blocks it and rolls him up for a near fall before slapping Christian back. Christian is not happy as he charges at Kofi but is caught with a hurricanrana for another two count. Christian rolls outside to catch a breather but is hit with a suicide dive. The WWE Universe is on fire as Kingston sends Christian back into the ring and climbs to the top. He leaps off but Christian catches him with a big time mid-air Spear. Both men are down and Christian slowly goes for the cover, but Kingston is able to kick out. Christian can’t believe it and he begins to clap for the Killswitch. He goes for it, but Kofi shoved him into the corner and hits Trouble in Paradise! He goes for the cover but Christian wisely rolls outside. Kofi follows outside but Christian catches him with a low blow outside of the referee’s field of vision. He puts Kofi in the ring and hits a frog splash off the top but Kingston somehow manages to kick out once again. Christian goes for the Killswitch again, but Kofi reverses it into a rollup and scores the pinfall. Kofi Kingston defeats Christian! The WWE Universe roars in approval as Kofi Kingston has just pinned the United States Champion. Christian is in disbelief as Kofi heads up the ramp doing the Boom Clap. The referee hands Christian his title, which he clutches tightly to his chest.
Backstage, Renee Young is standing by with all three members of the Shield and the crowd goes wild at the sight of them. She asks them for their thoughts on the Authority booking them in a match against Rybaxel and Damien Sandow tonight. “How do you think we feel? Do you think we’re worried Renee?” asks Dean Ambrose. “We’re not worried because we’ve been doing this together for nearly a year and a half and nobody can touch them.” Seth Rollins says that Rybaxel and Sandow can’t beat them, nobody that the Authority puts in their way can beat them and Evolution sure as hell can’t beat them. Roman Reigns ends the promo with a simple, “Believe that…believe in the Shield.” BAD NEWS BARRETT vs. R-TRUTH; Surprisingly, Bad News Barrett did not treat the people of Baltimore to any bad news. Instead he went straight to wrestling and the two men lock up. Barrett overpowers R-Truth and sends him crashing to the mat where he then delivers some stomps. Barrett continues to show off his brawling ability as he continually hits right hands on Truth. He tosses Truth into the corner and uses some of his bare knuckle fighting background to pulverize him in the corner with continuous shots. Barrett sends him off the ropes and goes for a big boot, but Truth ducks and hits the Lie Detector. He runs off the ropes and connects with a dropkick followed by a leg drop after dancing. He covers but Barrett kicks out. Truth goes to send Barrett off the ropes, but Barrett reverses it and catches him with the Winds of Change. He gets a near fall with that before climbing to the top. Barrett leaps off and hits an elbow drop before clapping overhead to signal for the Bull Hammer. R-Truth gets up and gets leveled with it as Barrett picks up the win. Bad News Barrett defeats R-Truth!
The Authority is shown in their office backstage along with Evolution. Rybaxel and Damien Sandow enter the Triple H says that he called them in because he wants to know their goal tonight is to beat the hell out of the Shield. He picked the three of them because he knows that they can get the job done. “Damien, you’re a former Money in the Bank winner who came within an inch of becoming World Heavyweight Champion. Curtis, you were Intercontinental Champion, you hold a victory over me and your father was Mr. Perfect. Ryback, I know that you can get back to the monster that dominated the WWE and went undefeated for months. Remember, it was you who the Shield targeted the night they made their debut.” Triple H’s pep talk seems to work as the three men look fired up as they head out. Stephanie McMahon then turns her attention to Batista. She tells him that she's heard his complaints about not getting the one on one WWE World Heavyweight Title match that he earned when he won the Royal Rumble. So, next Monday on Raw, he will get his shot at Daniel Bryan. Batista smirks as the WWE Universe cheers this announcement.
Renee Young is backstage again, but this time she’s with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. The WWE Universe erupts before Renee asks him for his thoughts on the announcement that he will be defending his title against Batista next week. He says that he knows it’s going to be a tough match but he proved at WrestleMania that nothing can stop the Yes Movement. Before he can continue, he is nailed from behind by the Big Red Machine! Kane hits him with several right hands before picking him up and throwing him into a wall. Kane starts choking Bryan before he lifts him and throws him through a glass window! The WWE World Champion is left in clear pain by Kane, as the “monster” may finally have been let out.
A recap of Sheamus’ vicious attack on Big E this past Friday on Smackdown is shown. It led to Big E accepting Sheamus’ challenge for an Intercontinental Title shot at Extreme Rules. BIG E vs. THE MIZ; This match was scheduled to take place this past Friday night on Smackdown, but Sheamus attacked Big E beforehand and it never got started. Big E is clearly still reeling from getting his head kicked into the turnbuckle as he is sporting a bandage and looks to be a bit groggy. The announce team points out that Big E probably shouldn’t be in competition tonight. Miz is like a shark that smells blood as he attacks Big E before the bell and pounds away at his head. He puts Big E in the corner and hits the awesome clothesline for a near fall. Miz begins to keep Big E on the mat, placing him in a headlock. Smartly, the former WWE Champion is trying to make sure to focus on Big E’s injury. However, the Intercontinental Champion rallies behind the crowd’s involvement and powers out, hitting a belly to belly suplex. Big E now looks to have some momentum as he lifts Miz and hits a few knee lifts before connecting with multiple rib breakers. He throws Miz in the corner and runs for the E-Train, but Miz moves and hits a neckbreaker. The Miz goes for the figure four, which is odd since he’s focused on the neck, and locks it in. Big E is in pain, but overpowers and turns the hold over, putting the pain on the Miz. The hold is broken but Big E is back in the driver’s seat. Sheamus runs out to the ring to massive boos, but Big E sees him and E-Trains him right off of the apron. He turns to The Miz, takes the straps of his singlet down, and plants him with the Big Ending to claim the win. Big E defeats The Miz!Big E celebrates with his Intercontinental Championship as Sheamus backs up the ramp and he doesn’t look too happy. Big E gets the upper hand on his next challenger tonight, but one can only imagine what will happen at Extreme Rules.
When Raw returns, Dolph Ziggler is standing in the middle of the ring sporting a blazer and the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy is next to him. He kisses it before beginning to speak. “Nearly three years ago, I wrestled a match right here on Raw against Zack Ryder and a certain movie star was at ringside. This mega star punched me in the jaw and it knocked me out.” Dolph takes the WWE Universe to a video of that moment a few years back. When it cuts back to the arena, Dolph says that he wants to bury the hatchet so he calls out the Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman. Jackman gets a big pop from the crowd in Baltimore as he comes down and enters the ring. Hugh Jackman says that it is great to be back on Monday night Raw but he promises not to hit Dolph Ziggler as the two shake hands. Dolph says that he is a huge fan of the X-Men films and Jackman as Wolverine so he’s out here to introduce a trailer to the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past film with Hugh. They show off the trailer, which gets a nice hand from the crowd, before Dolph grabs Jackman’s wrist and raises his arm in the air. The fun is cut short by the theme of Alberto Del Rio, who has a microphone in his hand as he walks down to the ring. Del Rio claims that all of this X-Men, Wolverine and Hugh Jackman talk is nonsense. “Dolph Ziggler, you shouldn’t be worried about burying an old grudge with some actor that nobody cares about. What you should be focused on is me, Alberto Del Rio.” He claims that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal was his to win. “Our story goes back to last year when you cashed in Money in the Bank on me and I had to get serious and take back my World Heavyweight Championship. I may not be able to take that trophy from you, but I can take you out again.” Del Rio is in the ring now and Hugh Jackman steps in between the two Superstars. Del Rio speaks now, “Don’t put your hands on me, perro. This is between me and Dolph.” He shoves Jackman so Dolph levels Del Rio and the two men brawl to the mat. Del Rio comes out on top of this exchange and turns to Jackman, but is knocked out cold by a right hand from the Australian! Dolph gets up and raises Jackman’s hand as the WWE Universe applauds.
Before the following contest, Michael Cole informs the fans that Daniel Bryan was taken to a local hospital after Kane’s attack earlier. It is announced that he has some cuts and bruises but no serious injuries. A graphic is then shown reminding everyone that next week on Raw, Daniel Bryan will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against “The Animal” Batista! AJ LEE & TAMINA SNUKA vs. PAIGE & NATALYA; Ever since her debut the night after WrestleMania XXX, Paige has quickly become a worrisome Diva for the Champion, AJ Lee. At the start of this match though, Tamina takes it to Paige with some hard hitting offense, still clearly upset over Paige defeating her two weeks ago. Paige eventually fights back and hits a nice Northern lights suplex before tagging in Natalya. The second generation Diva starts out hot, but Tamina and AJ get her isolated in their corner and cut the ring in half. Natalya is in bad shape as AJ skips around the ring, knowing that she’s in control. AJ lifts Natalya’s head and disrespectfully slaps her across the face. AJ sends Natalya off the ropes and Paige blind tags herself in. Natalya ducks AJ’s attack and Paige pulls her into a small package for the win. Paige & Natalya defeat AJ Lee & Tamina Snuka! The WWE Universe cheers loudly as Paige has just pinned the Divas Champion! She leaves up the ramp celebrating with Natalya as AJ Lee is left in the ring, furious. AJ Lee can say that Paige is undeserving of a title shot all she wants, but with a pinfall victory over the Champion, Paige’s claim has just gotten a lot stronger.
Renee Young is backstage with John Cena, who gets a pop from the WWE Universe when he enters the screen. Renee asks for John’s thoughts on his match with Erick Rowan tonight and the Last Man Standing match against Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules. Cena says that he can’t wait for the Last Man Standing match because he has a score to settle with Bray after losing at WrestleMania. That loss hurt him more than people know and he will do anything to win at Extreme Rules. However, he’s not looking past tonight because Erick Rowan is a monster. He will get past Rowan tonight and he will be the last man standing at Extreme Rules. THE SHIELD vs. DAMIEN SANDOW, RYBACK & CURTIS AXEL; The Shield have been pretty much unstoppable in six man tag team matches since their debut, but a fired up trio of Damien Sandow and Rybaxel were going to attempt to defeat them. The match begins with Ryback and the “Architect” of the Shield, Seth Rollins. Ryback has always had an issue with the Shield as he was seemingly their first target when they debuted. Rollins starts like a house on fire, using his high impact and unorthodox offense. Ryback’s power proves to be too much as he begins to toss Rollins around. Ryback hits a big time spinebuster before tagging in Damien Sandow. Sandow also starts hot; hitting a Russian leg sweep and elbow drop, but a well-placed enziguri allows Seth to make the tag to Dean Ambrose. The former United States Champion comes in and levels Sandow with that lunatic fringe offense. Sandow hits him with a big forearm sending Dean into the ropes, but rebounds out and hits a clothesline. Ambrose sends Sandow off the ropes and Curtis Axel makes a blind tag, which puts his team back in control. Axel, Ryback and Sandow cut the ring in half and take turns beating down on Ambrose. They get multiple near falls until Ambrose hits a running knee on Axel and manages to make the hot tag to Roman Reigns. Axel tags out as well but Reigns hits everyone with clotheslines and Samoan drops. He goes outside and hits Ryback with his huge dropkick. Reigns gets back in the ring and levels Ryback with the Superman punch. Seth Rollins leaps over the top, taking out both members of Rybaxel while Reigns plants Sandow with the Spear. The Shield defeats Damien Sandow, Ryback & Curtis Axel! Before the Shield gets a chance to enjoy their win or celebrate Evolution’s theme hits again as Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista walk down to the ring. The Shield dare them to enter the ring and the crowd is erupting at the chance of this showdown between two of the greatest stables in WWE history. Before Evolution enters the ring, Kane appears from behind and attacks Dean Ambrose. Evolution now enters the ring and a pier six brawl ensues! However, the numbers game is too much for the Shield as they ultimately succumb to it. Kane plants Seth Rollins with a chokeslam, Batista and Randy Orton hit Ambrose with the RKO/Batista Bomb combination and Triple H connects with a Pedigree on Reigns. Evolution and Kane stand tall and look incredibly strong heading into War Games.
Before the following match begins, a recap is shown of Bad News Barrett’s victory over R-Truth earlier tonight because the man that Barrett has had issues with over the past few weeks, Rob Van Dam, is in action. FANDANGO vs. ROB VAN DAM; After seeing Bad News Barrett pick up a win earlier tonight, his rival, Rob Van Dam clearly wanted nothing more than to match him. Fandango wasn’t about to go down without a fight though as he starts the match by charging at RVD with a dropkick. It sends RVD into the corner where Fandango lays in some chops. RVD reverses and puts Fandango in the corner before delivering two shoulder thrusts, back flipping and hitting a third. He hits two kicks to the stomach and a back kick for a near fall. Van Dam attempts Rolling Thunder but Fandango rolls out of the ring and out of the way. He grabs RVD’s leg and drags him to the corner, slamming his leg against the post. Fandango wisely targets Van Dam’s legs in an attempt to take away the key to his offense. Fandango continues the work on RVD’s leg for a bit and even surprises by locking in a leg submission. Van Dam is able to reach the ropes though. Fandango climbs to the top and goes for his diving leg drop, but Van Dam rolls out of the way. They get up at the same time and RVD connects with an enziguri before climbing to the top, still showing signs of his leg hurting. He muscles up the strength to leap off the top and hit the Five Star Frog Splash for the 1-2-3. Rob Van Dam defeats Fandango!Rob Van Dam gets his arm raised by the official as he celebrates his win with the WWE Universe. It’s cut off by the theme of Bad News Barrett, who rises up with his podium. He’s laughing and has a big smile on his face before picking up his gavel and banging it. “Can I have some decorum? Rob Van Dam, two weeks ago on Raw you got lucky and beat me in the middle of that ring. You won again tonight, but if you think your hot streak will continue, then I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news! I’ve just been informed that in less than two weeks at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View you will go one on one with BNB and this time, you won’t get lucky. Thank you very much.” Barrett did RVD’s trademark hand gesture as he said “BNB”.
Returning to Raw, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre are standing in the middle of the ring. 3MB is dancing and playing air instruments to their theme music until Slater begins to speak. He says that since they are in Baltimore tonight they thought they’d entertain the crowd. “Now I know that Baltimore is home to some legendary music artists like DMX and Mase. They weren’t exactly rock bands but who says that 3MB can’t rap. Hit it.” A beat drops as Slater starts with “We’re in the city of Baltimore, but it’s so boring that it makes us snore.” McIntyre adds “We hate this city and it is lame, it don’t deserve us ‘cause we’re the hottest in the game.” Before Mahal can rap they are cut off by the Big Show. The crowd roars as he walks down to the ring and 3MB charge him individually. Mahal gets laid out with a WMD, Slater takes a huge chop to the chest and McIntyre is planted with a Chokeslam. Big Show taunts to the crowd until Alexander Rusev’s music hits. The Bulgarian Brute comes down to the ring with Lana in tow, as he is across the ring from his Extreme Rules opponent. The crowd is tense at the possibility of these two coming to blows. Slater gets to his feet and Rusev kicks him right in the face! He picks up McIntyre and throws him into the corner, before charging him with a huge body block. Big Show is surprised but doesn’t take his eyes off of Rusev. Rusev then locks Mahal in the Camel Clutch, while staring intently at Show. Lana tells him to break the hold; Rusev obliges and gets right back into Big Show’s face. The two monsters stare each other down until Lana advises Rusev to step back and exit the ring. THE REAL AMERICANS vs. LOS MATADORES; Despite being the number one contenders for The Usos’ WWE Tag Team Titles, the Real Americans have had some issues lately. Jack Swagger has been unhappy with the fact that Cesaro has been less ruthless of late. Cesaro starts the match and shows some aggression by nailing Fernando with some vicious European uppercuts. He even springboards off the second rope and hits one for a near fall. He and Swagger begin some quick tags that work over Fernando’s back. He manages to make the tag to Diego, who comes in and hits multiple dropkicks and spinning heel kicks. Zeb Colter attempts to distract the referee but El Torito bites him on the butt as the crowd laughs. Los Matadores go for a double back body drop but Cesaro kicks Fernando and hits a Gutwrench suplex on Diego. Cesaro cracks his neck and executes a perfect Neutralizer to beat Los Matadores. The Real Americans defeat Los Matadores! After the match, Zeb Colter enters the ring with his team; they place their hands over their hearts and shout “We The People!” Cesaro goes to leave but Zeb stops him and says something about being embarrassed by El Torito. Zeb wants Cesaro to swing El Torito but Cesaro is reluctant. Jack Swagger gets fed up as he grabs El Torito and puts him in the Patriot Lock! Los Matadores are up and they nail Swagger, which leads Cesaro to help out. The Real Americans gain the upper hand and beat down on Los Matadores. Cesaro doesn’t have anything against swinging an actual member of the team as he sets up Diego for it but the music of The Usos hits as the crowd erupts! The Tag Team Champions run to the ring and begin to trade shots with the number one contenders. They knock the Real Americans outside and we got us some flying Usos! Jimmy goes under the ring and pulls out a ladder as the crowd is going wild. Jey rolls Swagger back in the ring by the ladder that Jimmy has set up. Jimmy climbs and seems to be calling for a big splash, but Cesaro reaches in and pulls Swagger out of harm’s way. The Usos theme plays as the Real Americans retreat up the ramp.
Returning, Michael Cole announces that tomorrow night on Main Event, the patriarch of the Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt will step into the ring with Rey Mysterio! This will be Rey’s first match since WrestleMania XXX and the only way to see it is on the WWE Network tomorrow at 8PM! ERICK ROWAN vs. JOHN CENA; Before Bray Wyatt steps into the ring with John Cena at Extreme Rules, his follow Erick Rowan gets a shot at him tonight. Much like Cena’s match with Luke Harper on Main Event last week, both men hit each other with hard shots. Rowan grabs Cena into a bearhug to wear him down. Cena uses the power of the WWE Universe to break free and hit a fisherman suplex for a near fall. Cena climbs to the top and connects with a diving leg drop bulldog but can only muster up another near fall. Cena begins to call for the Attitude Adjustment but Rowan rakes his eyes and he hits a fallaway slam. Rowan grabs Cena with a clawhold and tosses him across the ring. Rowan picks up Cena by the throat and slams him to the mat. He covers but Cena somehow manages to get his shoulder up. Rowan is clearly frustrated as he sends Cena off the ropes and goes for a big boot but Cena ducks it and nails back to back shoulder blocks. Cena sets up for the Five Knuckle Shuffle and connects with it. Luke Harper grabs a steel chair from ringside and gets in the ring. Cena levels him with a clothesline that sends him outside! Cena picks up the chair and whacks Rowan with it, resulting in a disqualification. Erick Rowan defeats John Cena via disqualification!John Cena drops the chair in disbelief and mouths “what am I doing?” Bray Wyatt laughs from his chair at ringside before picking up a microphone. "Hahaha.....when the shepherd speaks, the world listens because they know that the truth pours from his being! I've said it time and time again that deep within the hero that is John Cena lies a malevolent monster just like Bray Wyatt! You still don't believe me? Look!! Look at it!!" screamed Wyatt as Cena was shown with the chair still in his hands. "The day that I can finally live in peace is the day when humanity realizes that there is no reason to continue living a lie! There is no point to telling our children that people can be different on the inside! WE ARE ALL THE SAME!! There is your proof! That monster holding an object just as cold and unforgiving as his heart! John Cena, Bray Wyatt, the next man standing awaiting his turn on death row....there is no internal difference. We are all monsters. Down goes the legacy of John Cena, and out comes the leviathan. Last Man Standing? Don't be a fool. There is no such thing. This war is a test to see who the Last Monster Standing is at Extreme Rules." Wyatt let out a laugh as Cena threw the chair onto the canvas, trying to deny Wyatt's claims. However, after what we saw tonight, is Wyatt correct? Is there a side of John Cena that the WWE Universe has never seen before? Monday Night Raw fades to a close.

WWE Main Event: April 22nd, 2014 – Giant Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania
The first thing seen on tonight’s Main Event on WWE Network is a video package showing Evolution’s promo from last night in the Hell in a Cell. The video then showed Kane’s assault on the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Evolution’s beat down of the Shield. Evolution and Kane have the upper hand with War Games less than two weeks away. BRAY WYATT vs. REY MYSTERIO; For the first time since the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX, Rey Mysterio steps in the ring. Bray Wyatt though, is coming off of a huge victory over John Cena on that night. Mysterio begins the match by using his unorthodox, fast paced offense to his advantage. He wallops Bray with a hurricanrana, springboard dropkick and a baseball slide. He goes for a suicide dive but Bray moves out of the way and Rey hits the guardrail hard. This allows Bray to take control as he whips Rey into the steel steps before putting him back in the ring. Bray connects with a running senton but only gets a near fall. He sends Rey off the ropes and hits a big running cross body but can only muster up another near fall. Bray signals for the end as he sets up for Sister Abigail, but Mysterio sweeps his leg and rolls him up for two. As they get up Bray ducks a punch and goes for a belly to back suplex only to have Rey reverse it into a bulldog. Rey climbs to the top and hits a big splash but Bray manages to kick out of the pin attempt. Mysterio is unsure what it will take to beat Bray Wyatt. Bray is up and charges but Rey drop toe holds him into 619 position! Rey runs off the ropes, but Bray gets loose and nails a snap Sister Abigail! He covers and it’s enough to keep down Mysterio. Bray Wyatt defeats Rey Mysterio!A mixed reaction comes over the WWE Universe as Bray Wyatt picks up the victory. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan enter the ring with him and Bray gets to his knees, stretching his arms out. He shouts “follow the buzzards” as Main Event cuts to a recap of John Cena using a steel chair against Erick Rowan last night on Raw. Bray Wyatt laughed at this and cut an eerier promo about the monster in John Cena coming out.
A promo airs for NXT this Thursday. Witness the future of the WWE from Full Sail University every Thursday at 9PM only on the WWE Network! TITUS O'NEIL vs. XAVIER WOODS; Two superstars looking to gain some traction go toe to toe tonight. The Funkadactyls are at ringside with Xavier Woods, but Titus O’Neil is all business. He attacks Woods as soon as the bell rings, backing him into the corner. Titus fires away with knife edge chops before sending Woods off the ropes. He goes for a clothesline but Woods ducks it and connects with a big dropkick. Titus O’Neil rolls outside for a breather, but the high flying Xavier Woods attempts a dive to the outside, only to be caught and drilled into the ring post by Titus. Titus puts Woods back in the ring and begins to focus on his opponent’s back. He stays in control for a bit until Woods turns the tide with a big tornado DDT for a near fall. Woods nails his Honor Roll clothesline as the crowd is pumped for him. He goes for the Lost in the Woods, but Titus blocks it and nearly puts him through the mat with the Clash of the Titus for the 1-2-3. Titus O’Neil defeats Xavier Woods!Titus O’Neil throws his arms in the air and does his trademark barking noise as he celebrates a victory tonight. The self-proclaimed “Big Deal” gains some momentum here tonight on Main Event.
An Extreme Rules promo is shown, featuring WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan leading a rally for the “Yes Movement.” War Games at Extreme Rules comes to you on May 4th on the WWE Network! A recap is shown of The Real Americans defeating Los Matadores last night on Raw, followed by Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger telling Cesaro to swing little El Torito. Cesaro didn’t want to, which allowed Los Matadores to get involved. Cesaro and Swagger fought off Los Matadores until The Usos ran to the ring to clean house. They attempted a splash off of a ladder but the Real Americans escaped in time. A graphic is shown on the screen as Tom Phillips reminds the folks at home that the Real Americans earned a Tag Team Title shot a few weeks ago and they will get that shot at Extreme Rules when they face The Usos in a Ladder Match!
“The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus is shown walking towards the arena because the man who will face Big E for the Intercontinental Title at Extreme Rules is in action next! SHEAMUS vs. ZACK RYDER; Two former United States Champions do battle to close out Main Event tonight as Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton remind the WWE Universe of Sheamus’ attack on Big E this past Friday on Smackdown. He Brogue Kicked Big E’s head into the turnbuckle and in the process got Big E to agree to put the Intercontinental Title on the line at Extreme Rules. Sheamus’ mean streak is on the display tonight as he levels Zack Ryder with clubs and polish hammers at the start. Sheamus continues to be it the driver’s seat, beating Ryder’s chest until it is bright red. Ryder manages to fight back after dodging Sheamus in the corner and he follows with the Broski Boot. Ryder has the crowd believing in an upset, but as he goes for the Rough Ryder, Sheamus catches him with a stiff powerbomb. He picks up a limp Ryder and nails him with the Brogue Kick to end it. Sheamus defeats Zack Ryder!Sheamus picks up another victory on his road to an Intercontinental Title shot at Extreme Rules as the WWE Universe voices their displeasure at the new attitude of the “Celtic Warrior”. He continues to celebrate as Main Event on the WWE Network comes to an end.

WWE NXT: April 24h, 2014 - Full Sail University, Winter Park, Florida
Following the signature WWE intro, the entrance music of Triple H hit as the COO made his way out to a resounding amount of boos from the Full Sail University audience. Once in the ring, Hunter grabbed a microphone as the NXT Universe began a “Yes! Chant. The chant continued until Hunter said that very soon, that “ridiculous one-liner” will be old news, so they may as well find something new to chant. “The reason I am here tonight is…..” said Hunter before moving the microphone away from his face as the audience chanted “Hounds of Justice!” He smirked before saying that he is here tonight because he has a huge announcement to make regarding the future of NXT. “NXT ArRival was the first live event to air on the WWE Network. All of the men and women made history on that night, and one May 29th, they are taking over. I am pleased to announce that on that date, NXT Take Over will air live on the WWE Network,” said Hunter to a huge pop. He then said that last week, Brodus Clay seized victory in a number one contenders match. “And it is because of that victory that Brodus will challenge Adrian Neville for the NXT Championship at Take Over. The two of them will sign their contract later on tonight for that match,” said Hunter. He thanked the NXT Universe for helping make NXT the brand that it is today before leaving the ring, still to boos. The usual intro video for NXT aired before cutting to the Full Sail Arena as the entrance music of the Beautiful Fierce Females hit. Sasha Banks and Charlotte made their way down to the ring as the commentary trio of Tom Philips, Alex Riley and Jason Albert welcomed everyone to NXT on the WWE Network. As we just heard from the WWE COO, Triple H, NXT Take Over will be coming our way live on May 29th. NXT Champion, Adrian Neville, and Brodus Clay will sign the contract for their encounter at Take Over tonight. Plus, Corey Graves will do battle with Tyson Kidd! Charlotte and Banks were settled in the ring by that point as they awaited the arrival of their opponents. PAIGE & BAYLEY vs. CHARLOTTE & SASHA BANKS; Following the announcement of the next live special on the WWE Network, the NXT Universe was fired up for this tag match that could have implications on NXT Take Over. After Bayley caught Charlotte with an Enziguri, she was able to make the hot tag to Paige! The NXT Women's Champion came in and took down Charlotte with repeated Clotheslines before pulling Sasha Banks into the ring by her hair. Charlotte then got a hold of Paige, throwing her into a corner viciously. Paige inadvertently bumped into Bayley, causing the tag to be made. Bayley's first instinct was to check on Paige, giving Charlotte the opening to roll her up for the victory. Charlotte & Sasha Banks defeat Paige & Bayley!Charlotte rolled out of the ring as the bell sounded, joining Sasha Banks at ringside. The BFFs celebrated their huge victory as Paige was handed back her NXT Women's Championship, the "Diva of Tomorrow" staring at Bayley, who was incredibly apologetic.
An advertisement was shown WWE Legends' House. Catch the all new WWE Network exclusive every Thursday night at 8E/7C! KONNOR vs. COLLIN CASSADY; Last week, Enzo Amore made his much anticipated return to WWE NXT as he and Collin Cassady put The Ascension on notice for the NXT Tag Team Championships. Enzo and Viktor stood at ringside as Konnor and Collin Cassady battled it out on the WWE Network. Towards the end of the match, Viktor began to stalk Amore, who stood his ground. "I ain't afraid of your freaky carcass!" said Amore before Cassady slid to the outside of the ring. He turned Viktor around, striking him with a right hand. Cassady told Amore to stay calm before re-entering the ring. Upon doing so, Konnor planted him with a huge Flapjack before getting the cover for the win. Konnor defeats Collin Cassady!Boos emerged from the NXT Universe as Konnor stood to his feet, staring at both Collin Cassady on the canvas, and Enzo Amore at ringside. Viktor rolled into the ring as The Ascension stood tall with their NXT Tag Team Championships. Amore and Cassady headed up the entrance ramp, the two of them and the entire Full Sail Audience shouting, "Sawft!" as the reigning champions.
Backstage, Devin Taylor was standing by with Bo Dallas. He stepped into the picture as Taylor asked for his thoughts after failing to gain contention to the NXT Championship last week. Bo stated that his thoughts are the same as before he lost last week's Triple Threat match. "No matter what, I am still the confident human being that I have always been. And you know why that is, Devin? Because I still Bolieve!" he said while grinning. "Next week, I invite the entire NXT Universe to listen as I give one of the most inspirational speeches that the world will ever see. You can come too, Devin!" said Bo before leaving. TYSON KIDD vs. COREY GRAVES; A victory here was a must for Tyson Kidd after failing to become the number one contender for the NXT Championship last week. Corey Graves, on the other hand, was coming off of a double count out against Sami Zayn. As Kidd was coming down with a Springboard leap, Graves caught him with a dropkick to his leg. Kidd held that leg before Graves applied the Lucky 13 submission hold. Kidd was able to reach the ropes, but Graves kept the hold in and refused to comply with the official's five count. Tyson Kidd defeats Corey Graves via disqualification! The bell continued to sound as the official tried to pull Corey Graves off of Tyson Kidd. Graves kept the Lucky 13 locked in until the entrance music of Sami Zayn hit. The NXT Universe came unglued as Zayn ran down to the ring, Graves immediately escaping. The official tended to Kidd as Zayn stood on the ring apron, wanting to settle the score with Graves once and for all.
At this time, the ring was shown set and ready for the contract signing between Brodus Clay and the NXT Champion, Adrian Neville. NXT General Manager John Bradshaw Layfield brought out both superstars as they came face-to-face in the ring, Brodus towering over the "Man That Gravity Forgot." Bradshaw told the two of them that all eyes will be on this championship match. It's NXT Take Over. It's the WWE Network. It's the NXT Championship match. One of you will seize the moment and claim the spotlight for yourself. Adrian, you've been a hell of a champion ever since winning it back at NXT ArRival. Brodus, you're a monster and you've made that clear over the past number of weeks. On May 29th, may the better man win," said the General Manager. Brodus took the contract, but did not initially sign it. He said that before he signs the dotted line and legally agrees to end Neville's career, he wants to throw out a proposal. "Neville, you're all about making history, ain't you? You won the NXT Championship in NXT's first-ever ladder match, and I would imagine that you want to make the match at Take Over just as special. Hell, I want to make the moment that I capture the NXT Championship special, so here's what I got in my mind. At NXT Take Over, you and me go one-on-one for the NXT Championship in NXT's first-ever Steel Cage match!" said Brodus as the audience popped. Neville took a microphone, telling Brodus that he realizes that he should be afraid of the challenge. "You've clearly got the size advantage, and in a Steel Cage, mate, you've got me right where you want me. But at the same time, I've got you right where I want you as well. I can finally put you in your place by humiliating you on a big stage," said Neville. The NXT Champion then picked up a pen and signed the contract. Brodus was all smiles, telling Neville that he may be the dumbest man that he ever met. "You're going to get demolished at Take Over when I tear you pieces inside of the cage and take your NXT Championship. Then, maybe I'll finally get some damn respect around here," said Brodus before signing the contract. It is now official! At NXT Take Over on May 29th, Adrian Neville defends the NXT Championship against Brodus Clay in NXT's first-ever Steel Cage match!

Friday Night Smackdown: April 25th, 2014 – Giant Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania
Tonight, Smackdown’s broadcast begins with a video package showcasing Evolution’s return to the WWE and their promo inside of the Hell in a Cell on Raw. It intercuts with shots of Kane destroying WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Evolution taking out the Shield, before ending with Batista saying “The Shield will be humbled. Deal with it.” The theme of The Shield is heard as the “Hounds of Justice” are making their way to the ring as the show begins. Just like this past Monday, the Hell in the Cell is surrounding the ring as The Shield enters. Dean Ambrose shakes the cage with a smile on his face before joining his teammates in the ring. Seth Rollins speaks first, “Last Monday night we all saw something we haven’t seen in a decade. Evolution joined forces in the middle of this ring and cell as they verbally cut us down.” Seth continues by mentioning how between the three members of Evolution there are over 30 combined World Championships and that’s not counting Kane. “Add in Daniel Bryan’s physical state after Raw and one could say the odds aren’t looking good for the Shield.” Dean Ambrose steps in now, the usual crazed look on his face. “Not just Daniel Bryan, Seth. We took a beating on Raw too. We’re not ashamed to admit it because way more often than not, we’re on the giving end of a beat down. If Evolution and Kane think that one attack is going to keep us down, then they must not know us at all.” Ambrose says that Triple H has competed in Hell in a Cell multiple times over his career but this isn’t just a Hell in a Cell. “This is War Games boys and it doesn’t matter how many World Titles the four of you have together, how much stroke you have in this company or how dominant you were in 2004. We’re the Shield and you’ve never faced anyone like us.” Roman Reigns takes the microphone next and he keeps it short and sweet. “Ten years ago there was no Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns. You think that bringing back your old theme music is going to intimidate us? You think putting me in a match against Kane tonight is going to make me shake in my boots? You’ve bitten off more than you can chew Triple H and you’ll find out first hand at Extreme Rules or you can just ask Kane after tonight. You boys will get hurt. Believe that…and believe in the Shield.” The Shield puts their fists together in the middle of the ring as the crowd cheers loudly. A graphic is shown promoting tonight’s main event that was just mentioned. Roman Reigns steps into the ring with the Director of Operations, Kane in a preview of Extreme Rules!
CURTIS AXEL vs. ROB VAN DAM; Curtis Axel and Ryback stand in the ring as Rob Van Dam makes his way out while a video clip if shown of Bad News Barrett announcing their upcoming match at Extreme Rules. Michael Cole mentions that the rivalry between Bad News Barrett and Rob Van Dam has been heating up, but tonight he has a tough challenge in the form of a former Intercontinental Champion. The match begins with a collar and elbow tie up and RVD backs Axel into the corner. He’s forced to break and back off but Axel levels him in the stomach. Axel whips RVD off the ropes and hits a back body drop before latching on a rear chin lock. RVD fights out of it after a bit behind the roar of the WWE Universe. He elbows Axel in the gut and runs off the ropes but is met with a dropkick. Axel stays on the offensive for a few, even hitting his dad’s trademark rolling neck snap for a near fall. Axel signals for the Perfect Plex but RVD blocks it and connects with a Northern lights suplex for two. Van Dam now has control, sending Axel into the corner and hitting two shoulder thrusts before back flipping and hitting a third. Axel drops to the mat and RVD nails Rolling Thunder but Axel gets his shoulder up. Van Dam does the “RVD” taunt as he seems to be gearing up for the Five Star Frog Splash but Ryback gets on the apron. Van Dam goes to kick him, but Ryback catches his foot, only for RVD to hit his enziguri. RVD turns back to Axel and connects with a monkey flip before polishing him off with the Five Star Frog Splash. Rob Van Dam defeats Curtis Axel!Rob Van Dam celebrates his victory with the WWE Universe as he picks up even more steam since his return at WrestleMania. RVD will need all of that momentum when he faces Bad News Barrett at Extreme Rules!
Returning, a recap is shown of Smackdown last week where the match between Alexander Rusev and Big Show for Extreme Rules was made. Following that clip is one from Raw where both Big Show and Rusev took turns beating on poor 3MB in an attempt to prove who the dominant Superstar is. Justin Roberts introduces the “Ravishing Russian” Lana, who comes to the stage and poses before speaking to the fans. She claims that Alexander Rusev is the type of Superstar that the Big Show can only dream about being. “The Big Show is massive, but he is not a super athlete like the Bulgarian Brute.” Lana tells the WWE Universe to rise for the arrival of Alexander Rusev. ALEXANDER RUSEV vs. SANTINO MARELLA; Santino Marella and Emma strut down to the ring in their usual playful manner but once Santino enters the ring, he realizes that this is not going to be fun and games. Since his official debut during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Alexander Rusev has made a huge impact in the WWE. He eliminated Big E and Big Show from that battle royal, defeated the likes of Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd and Zack Ryder and faces his biggest challenge at Extreme Rules. Santino starts the match by chopping Rusev but it has no effect. He chops him again but still nothing so he runs off the ropes and tries a clothesline but hurts his own arm. Rusev charges at him but Santino wisely ducks him with a split and goes for a hip toss but it’s to no avail. Rusev clotheslines him down to the mat viciously. He sends Santino off the ropes and hits a body block before dragging Santino into a seated position in the corner. He runs across and goes for a hip attack but Santino moves! Rusev staggers out of the corner and Santino quickly puts on the Cobra. He attempts to use it but Rusev meets him with a huge side kick. Lana shouts “Rusev crush!” as Rusev locks on the Camel Clutch and Santino gives up. Alexander Rusev defeats Santino Marella!Lana enters the ring and tells Alexander Rusev to break the submission and she raises his arm in the air. Emma has a clear look of concern on her face that gets worse once Lana commands Rusev to put the Camel Clutch back on! Santino continues to tap out until the Big Show’s theme hits and the crowd pops. Rusev breaks the hold and looks ready to fight, but once Big Show makes it to the ring, Lana tells Rusev to exit. They leave up the ramp to boos as Lana continues to tell Rusev to wait for Extreme Rules. Big Show and Emma check on Santino.
Renee Young is standing by with the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus. She asks for his comments on his brutal attack on the Intercontinental Champion last week on Smackdown. Sheamus responds by saying that he has no further comments on what he did. He already informed the WWE Universe that he did what he did because he wanted an Intercontinental Title shot. Renee says that there are other ways to earn a title shot. Sheamus gives a small laugh and claims that none of those ways affect the Champion the way he did last week. He says that he will be the Intercontinental Champion after Extreme Rules and there’s nothing Big E can do about it.
Returning, the Raw Rebound is shown focusing on John Cena’s match with Erick Rowan. John Cena used a steel chair on Rowan, getting himself disqualified. Cena couldn’t believe what he’d done and Bray Wyatt was clearly happy about Cena’s “inner monster” rearing its head. We also see a clip of Bray Wyatt defeating Rey Mysterio on Main Event. Bray and Cena are on a collision course towards a Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules. ALBERTO DEL RIO & CHRISTIAN vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER & KOFI KINGSTON; Two of the hottest rivalries in the WWE came together in this tag team match. Christian won the United States Championship from Dean Ambrose and during his celebration on the Peep Show last week on Smackdown, Kofi Kingston interrupted him citing that the Christian he used to be a fan of is no more. Kingston then beat Christian in a non-title match this past Monday. Meanwhile, ever since Dolph Ziggler won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX, Alberto Del Rio has had issues with him, even getting involved with Dolph and Hugh Jackman on Raw. Tonight’s match starts with Christian and Ziggler and they provide some fun back and forth entertainment. Both men manage to tag out and then the team of Alberto Del Rio and Christian slowly start to work over Kofi Kingston. The United States Champion is more than happy to get involved when Kingston is down. Frequent tags and cutting the ring in half is the story of this one as Kingston desperately needs to tag his partner but is unable to. He picks up some steam when he plants Christian with the SOS but is still not able to get the tag. The crowd rallies and wants to see Ziggler get in the ring. Kofi ducks a shot from Christian and hits Trouble in Paradise from out of nowhere! He’s too hurt to make a cover and he slowly crawls to Dolph. He finally makes the tag at the same time as Christian and Ziggler comes in on fire. He nails Del Rio with consecutive dropkicks and levels Christian when he attempts to get involved. Del Rio gets him up for a back body drop but Dolph reverses it into a huge DDT but Christian breaks the pin attempt. Kofi runs at Christian and clotheslines him over and out. Dolph goes for the Fameasser but Del Rio ducks and rolls him up with a handful of tights to steal a victory. Alberto Del Rio & Christian defeat Dolph Ziggler & Kofi Kingston!Alberto Del Rio exits the ring and meets up with Christian on the outside as they celebrate their tainted win. Christian clutches his United States Title close to his chest as Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston are fuming in the ring.
Returning, Vickie Guerrero is shown in the back when Dolph Ziggler enters demanding a chance to get his hands on Alberto Del Rio again. Vickie tells him that he doesn’t just barge in on the General Manager of Smackdown to demand anything, especially after the history they have. However, she knows that the Authority would want what’s best for business, so she agree that at Extreme Rules Dolph Ziggler will go one on one with Alberto Del Rio. Dolph smiles and heads out of her office.
Cutting to the arena, the Real Americans and Zeb Colter are standing in the middle of the ring with a Ladder open behind them. Zeb Colter begins speaking, “The night after the debacle that was WrestleMania XXX, the Real Americans earned the right to be the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Obviously, a team like Jack Swagger and Cesaro should be the Champions who represent this company because they are Real Americans. The Usos aren’t. The Usos do not deserve to be the Tag Team Champions.” Zeb points the fans’ attention to the titantron where a video clip plays of them being attacked on Raw by the Usos after they beat up Los Matadores after their match. Zeb continues following the clip, “You see, when we wanted our title shot we wanted it to be a fair tag team match, but the Samoan savages that the Uso brothers are, they decided to bring a ladder into play. Luckily we were able to escape but now, our title shot at Extreme Rules is a ladder match. It’s madness.” Cesaro leans over to Zeb and, can be heard in the microphone, says that he doesn’t mind a ladder match. Jack Swagger comes into the huddle too and begins to bicker with Cesaro to let Zeb do his thing. Zeb breaks up the huddle and seems irritated by his team. “We don’t have a problem facing the Usos in a ladder match but it is pure madness that those savage beings can bring it into the mix and get the match they want. However, at Extreme Rules, when one of my Real Americans climbs the ladder, not only will they retrieve the Tag Team Titles, but they will symbolize that American stands tall over Samoans and everyone else. So ladies and gentlemen and Real Americans everywhere…” Before he can finish the theme of the Usos cut them off and they come out to the stage to a huge pop. Jimmy has a microphone and says that the Usos are not savages, but they’ll have no problem getting savage on the Real Americans at Extreme Rules! The crowd likes this as the Usos keep it short when Jey says they don’t have a problem getting savage right now. The Usos charge the ring and immediately trade shots with their challengers. Dual clotheslines knock the Real Americans outside and the fans are treated to some “flying Usos!” The Tag Team Champions get back in the ring as the crowd roars with approval. The Real Americans retreat up the ramp and the Ladder Match at Extreme Rules is sure to be fantastic. BIG E vs. JTG; It’s been a while since JTG has been seen on WWE programming and Big E is clearly still feeling the effects of Sheamus’ attack last week. That allows JTG to start with some offense as he backs Big E into the ropes, sends him off and hits a neckbreaker. He covers but only gets a one count. JTG attempts to continue his offensive surge with a bulldog but Big E shoves him off into the corner. As JTG bounces out, Big E lifts him and hits three straight rib breakers. Big E sends him into the corner, hits a shoulder thrust and JTG falls to the mat. Big E bounces off the ropes and hits a big splash with some impressive air time. Big E looks to be on a mission as he picks up JTG before planting him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Big E takes his straps down as he hits the Big Ending to finish it. Big E defeats JTG!John “Bradshaw” Layfield points out that Big E looked like a man possessed tonight. Sheamus may have awoken something in Big E that we’ve never seen before. With this aggressive side of Big E and Sheamus’ new vicious streak, their match at Extreme Rules will be extremely hard hitting.
Before going to commercial, the below graphic is shown on screen reminding everyone that this Monday night on Raw, Daniel Bryan will be defending his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against “The Animal” Batista! Batista has wanted a one on one title shot since he won the Royal Rumble and this could have huge implications for War Games!
A recap is shown of Paige’s debut the night after WrestleMania XXX where she challenged AJ Lee. Lee said she didn’t deserve it and had her face Tamina, who Paige bested. Paige then beat Alicia Fox and Aksana before pinning AJ Lee in a tag team match on Raw. Paige’s music hits as we cut back to the arena because the “Anti-Diva” will be joining the commentary team for the upcoming Divas match. AJ LEE vs. NAOMI; Both Tamina Snuka and Cameron are at ringside for this non-title contest. These Divas have met many times before, including an exceptional match during Season 3 of NXT. Michael Cole makes sure to plug Total Divas during the contest, as AJ gets off to a very good start. After a big spin kick, she puts Naomi into a sleeper hold and the Funkadactyl starts to fade. Behind Cameron and the WWE Universe, Naomi rallies and sends AJ off the ropes before connecting with the Rear View. She covers but the Divas Champion is able to kick out. Naomi waits for AJ to get up and hits a hurricanrana before going out to the apron. She leap frogs into the ring and drops her leg onto AJ but only gets another near fall. Naomi seems to be nearing a huge win as she sets up AJ by the corner. Tamina gets on the apron and distracts her but Cameron pulls her down and tackles her to the ground. Naomi goes for the split legged moonsault, but AJ moves out of the way. AJ whips Naomi off the ropes and catches her with the Black Widow. Despite her best efforts, Naomi has no choice but to tap out. AJ Lee defeats Naomi!AJ Lee is handed her Divas Championship as Tamina Snuka gets in the ring with her. AJ holds the belt up and looks in the direction of Paige. The “Anti-Diva” puts down her headset and gets in the ring, but AJ and Tamina exit the ring. Paige dares her to get back in the ring with her, but AJ shouts that Paige hasn’t earned it.
A promo airs showing highlights of previous War Games matches and the history between The Shield, Daniel Bryan and the Authority. Don’t forget that you can watch the history of War Games on the WWE Network! KANE vs. ROMAN REIGNS; Once the bell sounds, Kane is clearly not pleased at Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins being at ringside, but Evolution is not in the building tonight so the Director of Operations has to go it alone. The two brutes lock up and Roman Reigns overpowers the seven footer, shoving him to the mat. Reigns lets out a roar in the direction of Kane to the crowd’s liking. Kane gets to his feet and asks for a test of strength. Reigns goes for it and they struggle for a bit in this old school move until Kane kicks him in the gut. The Big Corporate Machine puts Reigns in the corner and hits him with some elbows and throat thrust before planting him with a sidewalk slam for a near fall. Kane begins to work over Reigns’ neck with several moves that target that area. After a few minutes of being in control, Kane goes for the Chokeslam but Reigns quickly blocks it and nails a Samoan drop. Both men are down as Reigns needs to capitalize on this. He’s up first and goes for the Spear but Kane moves and Reigns hits the turnbuckle. Kane nails the Chokeslam this time and covers but Reigns gets his shoulder up. Kane is not happy about this as he argues with the official before calling for the end. He goes for a Tombstone, but Reigns wriggles free to get behind him. Kane turns and is met with a huge Superman punch to the crowd’s liking. Kane falls onto the second rope, which allows Reigns to go out and hit his signature running dropkick. Reigns enters the ring and finishes his flurry with a huge Spear that earns him the win. Roman Reigns defeats Kane! The WWE Universe cheers as Roman Reigns earns his team some big momentum for War Games at Extreme Rules. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose join him in the ring as they surround Kane who slowly gets to his knees. The crowd is excited in anticipation as they know what’s coming next. The Shield level him with some stiff shots before Reigns calls for the Triple Powerbomb. Seth and Dean hoist him up and they drop the Director of Operations on his back. All three members of The Shield put their fists together over Kane as Smackdown comes to a close.

Monday Night Raw: April 28th, 2014 – Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri
After the WWE signature, we are shown a video highlighting the ending of last week’s Raw. John Cena lost to Erick Rowan via disqualification because Cena attacked him with a steel chair. Bray Wyatt then told Cena that we are all monsters and Cena’s inner monster is coming out. Cutting to the arena, Michael Cole reminds us that we are just six nights away from Extreme Rules! “Tonight, Daniel Bryan defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the 2014 Royal Rumble, Batista!” John Cena comes out to a mixed reaction and enters the ring. He has a somber look on his face and he gets on the microphone. The first words out of his mouth are an apology. He says sorry to the WWE Universe, and more importantly, the Cenation, for falling into Bray Wyatt’s trap. “I’m sure that at the end of last week, a lot of you were disappointed in me. It looked like I showed off this ‘monster’ that is supposedly inside of me. Well I’m here to not only say sorry, but to promise you that monster doesn’t exist.” The crowd gives the usual mixed reaction to this. He does go on to state that while there is no monster inside, he may to go in a darker part of himself than ever before to beat Bray Wyatt. “He beat me at WrestleMania and I will not allow that to happen again this Sunday at Extreme Rules. Tonight, I team with Rey Mysterio to take on his disciples, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Tonight, I show the world and Bray Wyatt that I’m not afraid and that I can take him and his goons on without bringing out a monster.” John Cena’s words of courage are interrupted by the signature of the Wyatt Family. They appear on the titantron, with Bray Wyatt laughing manically. "Hustle...loyalty....and fallacies from the false prophet. You're wasting your time, John. There's no point in trying to mask what the world already knows. You say that you're going to have to travel to a dark place? But why? You've always been there, haven't you? Last Monday, one look at you and everyone could see that John Cena, the man was nonexistent! In his place was John Cena, the monster! The monster that I unleashed at WrestleMania has life! Right there in that ring is a foul creature with no remorse for the well-being of any living entity! 'But no, everyone! I'm not a monster! Bray Wyatt is!' Lies, John. Lies and lies and lies! What you've failed to realize all along, John, is that the people who you preach your message to have turned their attention to another message. One that is real, not one that is corrupt and false! And the messenger isn't hard to find! All you have to do is look up at the sky and follow the buzzards.....because unlike you, John, I don't pretend to be something I'm not. And in due time, I will be something else to these people - the Last....Man.....Standing." The Wyatt Family disappear from the screen as Cena is left rather speechless in the ring as he looks out into a crowd that cheers for Bray’s words.
A recap airs of the opening promo, where Bray Wyatt continued to get into the head of John Cena. “Will we see another glimpse of the monster inside John Cena?” asks John “Bradshaw” Layfield. A graphic appears reminding everyone that tonight’s main event sees Daniel Bryan defending the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Batista! THE BROTHERHOOD VS. THE REAL AMERICANS; With Extreme Rules just six days away, the Real Americans had their eyes on the Ladder Match and the prize that is the WWE Tag Team Titles. However, the Brotherhood are not a team to overlook, since they were the cream of the tag division crop in late 2013. Cody Rhodes begins the match with Jack Swagger and they exchange some holds. Both guys tag out and Cesaro enters to a pop. He plays to the crowd during his run, leading Zeb Colter to shout that he needs to focus. The Real Americans work over Goldust for most of the bout and through the commercial break, until he makes the tag to his brother. Cody comes in to a solid reaction and hits most of his signature spots. The Disaster Kick and his gorgeous moonsault earn him near falls before he signals for the Cross Rhodes on Swagger. Cesaro breaks that up with a huge uppercut that sends Cody into the ropes. As he bounces off, Cesaro nails a massive popup uppercut and calls for the Swing. The crowd turns from cheering to booing as instead of the Swing, Swagger quickly covers Cody and scores the pin. The Real Americans defeat the Brotherhood!
The WWE Universe boos the fact that the Real Americans won, but are also upset at not being able to see a move they love, the Cesaro Swing. Cesaro looks a bit peeved with his teammate, but stands by his side as they, along with Zeb Colter shout “WE THE PEOPLE!”
Backstage, Renee Young stands by with the United States Champion, Christian. Before asking her question, she directs us to a video replay of Christian’s non-title loss to Kofi Kingston last week on Raw. She then informs the viewers at home that earlier today on the WWE App, it was announced that Christian will defend his belt against Kingston on the Extreme Rules KickOff show. When she asks Christian for his thoughts on this, Christian seems to shrug them off. “Why should I be worried about defending my title against Kofi Kingston? I am a former two time World Champion and the current United States Champion. Kofi got lucky last week. Where is the clip from Smackdown when I teamed with Alberto Del Rio to beat him and Dolph Ziggler?” Renee says that it wasn’t shown because neither Christian, nor Kofi was involved in the finish of that match. This leads Christian to give her a look of disdain before he wraps things up. "Have it your way Renee. Just remember this. I am the man who ended Dean Ambrose’s near year long reign with this belt and I am the man who will keep it this Sunday. Because that’s…how I roll.”
Returning, a recap is shown from Raw last Monday, where Evolution and Kane stood tall over the Shield and Daniel Bryan. Cutting to what went down on Smackdown though, we see Roman Reigns defeat Kane before the Shield planted him with the Triple Powerbomb. Backstage, the Authority is shown watching this on a monitor when Triple H turns to Kane and is not pleased. “We went from destroying the Shield to you getting your ass kicked and giving them back their momentum.” He directs the talk at Kane and demands that he shape up and stop letting the Shield walk all over him. “Onto tonight, Dave is going to take the WWE World Title away from that little troll. Before he does that though, we have something else to handle. With War Games being this Sunday, one team will have the man advantage. Tonight, Randy, you will take on Dean Ambrose and the winner gets that advantage. I don’t have to stress to you how important that advantage is do I?” Randy looks around and agrees that he doesn’t, but he does tell them that he wants the first shot at Batista once he wins the title tonight since he wasn’t pinned and didn’t submit during his guaranteed rematch. BAD NEWS BARRETT VS. THE MIZ; Commentary discusses how Bad News Barrett made his big return to the ring the night after WrestleMania, only to have it spoiled by Rob Van Dam which set up their match this Sunday at Extreme Rules. Tonight, it would be former WWE Champion and WrestleMania main eventer, The Miz, who looked to give Barrett some bad news of his own. Barrett attacks at the bell, clearly not in a good mood. He just pummels on Miz, barely allowing him to get in any offense. In pretty short time, Barrett rocks him with the Bull Hammer but that’s not enough for him. He picks up Miz and hits him with two more Bull Hammers, leaving him lifeless. Barrett covers and the win is a forgone conclusion here. Bad News Barrett defeats The Miz!Bad News Barrett snatches a microphone from ringside and directs his words at Rob Van Dam. “RVD, I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news! What you just witnessed was a small preview of what I’m going to do to you this Sunday. When I’m done with you, nobody will even be able to recognize that stupid face of yours.” Barrett slams the microphone down as Michael Cole mentions that he’s never seen Barrett this serious.
The sound of fans chanting “Yes!” fills the Scottrade Center as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring. He enters the ring and allows the fans to continue, as they chant at the top of their lungs. When they eventually die down, he commends them for being loud tonight. “Now I know that I have a major title defense tonight and I am in no way looking past Batista. However, I had to come out here and address War Games. As a fan growing up, and now on the WWE Network, I have seen my fair share of War Games matches. Knowing that I’ll be stepping into the environment for the first time, I have made sure to study each one. I’ve come to the conclusion that I am stepping into something that I’ve never faced before.” Bryan continues by stating that War Games is aptly named because the match is an all-out war. He claims that the hatred he and the Shield harbor towards the Authority is going to match that match one of the most brutal in WWE history. Before he can continue, he is interrupted by the theme of Triple H as he steps out to the stage. He allows the boos to die down before telling Daniel Bryan that he and the Shield are out of their element this Sunday. “You see, someone like you isn’t built for War Games. I’ve spent a lot of time around a man that has been in many War Games, Ric Flair. I know everything that I possibly could to get the upper hand on that night, which is more than watching the matches could do.” Bryan responds by saying that Triple H and the Authority have made the mistake before of thinking that he was out of his element. “Remember when I was shooting above my ‘B+ level’ by wrestling you at WrestleMania? Yet I beat you, Batista and Randy all in the same night.” This pisses off Triple H and he signals to the back. Randy Orton, Batista and Kane appear and head towards the ring. Bryan quickly goes outside for a chair, when the Shield’s theme hits to a big ovation. This stops Evolution and Kane as they quickly come to the ring and stand guard with Bryan. Triple H is heard telling his guys to save it for later. They back away as Bryan leads the fans in a “Yes!” chant.
A video package airs, showing some of the history of the War Games match. You can relieve all of the War Games matches on the WWE Network for just $9.99! DEAN AMBROSE VS. RANDY ORTON; War Games is notoriously known for the big helping hand that the man advantage allows. Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton both went in to try and give their teams that upper hand. This was big for a first hour main event, as the rest of the participants in War Games stayed at ringside. When the bell rings, Ambrose shows how badly he wants to get his hands on Evolution by charging at Orton and firing away with a huge flurry of shots. As things calm down a bit, Orton takes control with his rope hung DDT earning a near fall. He applies a chinlock to slow things down a bit further. Ambrose rallies out of it and hits the rebound clothesline for two. He bounces off the ropes for more offense, only to be tripped up by Kane. This causes Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan to get in the faces of the other heels. Ambrose doesn’t care as he comes off the ropes and wipes Batista, Triple H and Kane out with a huge suicide dive. The crowd roars as Ambrose gets back in the ring, but Orton tries for the RKO. Ambrose shoves him off and goes for Dirty Deeds, only for Orton to then counter that and connect on the RKO, which puts down Dean. Randy Orton defeats Dean Ambrose!
Boos rain down from the crowd as Randy Orton has earned the man advantage for Team Authority at Extreme Rules. He quickly exits the ring and regroups with Triple H, Batista and Kane, while the Shield and Daniel Bryan check on Dean Ambrose. BIG E AND KOFI KINGSTON VS. CHRISTIAN AND SHEAMUS; The two mid-card champions have big nights set for this Sunday. It was announced earlier tonight that Christian will put his US Title on the line against the man who questioned his means of getting the belt, Kofi Kingston. Meanwhile, Big E defends against Sheamus, who physically got his shot by Brogue Kicking him into the turnbuckle. This tag team match starts with Christian and Kingston. Kofi gets a bunch of near falls in the early goings on various rollups, causing Christian to panic and tag out. “He wants to make sure that Kofi doesn’t pin him again” explains John “Bradshaw” Layfield. This leaves Sheamus to do most of the work for his team and Christian to tag in while Kofi is down. He continues to play the smarmy heel fantastically. Big E gets the hot tag and, just like on Smackdown when he dominated JTG, seems to be a man possessed. He wails on Christian and even takes out Sheamus with some big shots. He body blocks his challenger outside, but Christian is the legal man. He sneaks up behind Big E for the Killswitch, but Big E shoves him off and goes for the Big Ending. Sheamus crawls back in and takes him out with a Brogue Kick that forces him to stumble into the corner. Kofi tags himself in and flies off the top with a cross body, that Christian rolls through to get the three. Christian and Sheamus defeat Big E and Kofi Kingston!
Christian rolls out of the ring and is handed his United States Title. He laughs in the direction of Kofi Kingston, who is clearly frustrated with himself inside. Sheamus and Big E stare each other down as it has become clear that their battle at Extreme Rules will be a hard hitting war.
A graphic is shown, announcing that tomorrow night on Main Event, Kane will step into the ring against Seth Rollins in the continuing war between the Authority and the Shield!
Renee Young is now standing by with Rob Van Dam. She asks for his thoughts on what Bad News Barrett did to the Miz earlier. RVD says that normally, everything is cool with him, but he’s not 100% on this. “It seems like Barrett is crying over the spilled milk that was me beating him on Raw a few weeks ago.” RVD claims that he’s going to do everything in his power to avoid the Bull Hammer on Sunday and hit the Five Star Frog Splash. ALEXANDER RUSEV VS. MARK HENRY; Since his debut during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Alexander Rusev has not only been on a tear, but he’s on a collision course with the “World’s Largest Athlete”. Tonight, Rusev tested himself against another of the biggest and toughest the WWE has to offer in Mark Henry. This battle of the brutes starts exactly the way one would expect. Both guys just hammer away on each other and it’s definitely interesting to see how Rusev reacts to his first opponent that he can’t just dominate. Every single time Rusev gets some momentum, Henry fights free and keep the Bulgarian Brute on his toes. Henry begins to rally and his an avalanche in the corner, getting the first near fall on Rusev! He attempts the World’s Strongest Slam, but Rusev slips free, hits a super kick and applies the Accolade. Henry tries his best to escape but succumbs to the submission. Alexander Rusev defeats Mark Henry!
After the match, Alexander Rusev doesn’t break the Accolade. Lana stands by him and just smiles until the theme of the Big Show hits! The crowd pops as Lana gives the signal to let go of the hold. Unlike this past Smackdown, Rusev doesn’t exit the ring and goes blow for blow with his Extreme Rules opponent. Big Show is able to knock him over and outside of the ring as Lana then tells Rusev to save it for Sunday. “For the first time ever, Rusev has shown a sign of vulnerability!”
A video package airs of John Cena granting wishes for some children at a nearby hospital earlier today. The feed gets intercut with the Wyatt signature as they make their way to the ring for the upcoming match. ERICK ROWAN AND LUKE HARPER VS. JOHN CENA AND REY MYSTERIO; On Main Event last week, Rey Mysterio lost to the patriarch of the Wyatt Family. Tonight, he teams with John Cena to face his followers, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Mysterio kicks this into high gear quickly, by flying around the ring and surprising Harper and Rowan with his quick pace. He makes one mistake and is caught into a massive powerbomb from Harper to slow things down. Harper and Rowan methodically pick apart their much smaller opponent for a long while. Cena slams on the turnbuckle and tries to get the crowd to rally Mysterio. It eventually works as he gets the hot tag and comes in firing on all cylinders. He nails both of his opponents with some of his signature offense. The finish comes as Harper is knocked outside and Rey nails Rowan with the 619. He stumbles into Cena, who hits an AA and locks in the STF. Rowan is forced to tap out, but even as the bell rings, Cena won’t let go of the hold. He just rears back further while staring a hole through Bray Wyatt. John Cena and Rey Mysterio defeat Erick Rowan and Luke Harper!
As John Cena continues to wrench back on the STF, Bray Wyatt just laughs from his rocking chair. Cena seems to snap out of it and he lets go of Erick Rowan. Cena stares at his hands as Rowan rolls outside and Bray continues to laugh. “We keep getting more signs that a monster is indeed inside of John Cena” says JBL. PAIGE VS. NATALYA; The night after WrestleMania XXX, Paige made her shocking debut and instantly challenged AJ Lee for the Divas Championship but was denied. Since then she has been on a roll and looked to continue the trend tonight. She locks up with Natalya and is quickly overpowered. It happens again, which causes Paige to change her strategy, which she wisely does and is able to go behind Natalya and take her down. The two women trade offensive maneuvers for a while and Natalya goes for the Sharpshooter. Paige kicks her off into the corner and pulls her into an inside cradle for two. Paige nails the Paige Turner from out of nowhere but doesn’t go for the cover. Instead, she applies the Scorpion Cross Lock, which Michael Cole informs us is now known as the PTO (Paige Tap Out). Natalya is forced to do just that. Paige defeats Natalya!
After the bell, Paige asks for a microphone from ringside. “I am getting sick and tired of AJ Lee ducking my challenges. Yes, she has gone nearly a year with the Divas Championship and has beaten everyone put in front of her. Natalya, Naomi, Cameron, the Bella Twins, the list goes on and on. But you haven’t beaten me yet. And last week on Raw, I pinned you.” AJ Lee skips out to the stage, flanked by Tamina, to cut Paige off. AJ tells her to calm down. “Okay Paige. I get it. You’re good. Congratulations. Last week though, you just got lucky. But, seeing as how I am the greatest Divas Champion of all-time, I’ll give you your title shot this Sunday at Extreme Rules.” The crowd pops as Paige looks impressed. AJ isn’t finished however, “Oh, but I’m not done yet my little crumpet. I’ve retained this title for more than 300 days and I do it with the Black Widow. Nobody has been able to escape it. So this Sunday, you and I in a submission match and I will prove to you that I am exactly what I say I am. The best Diva in the World.” Her theme as she exits to “CM Punk” chants and Paige looks on, satisfied that she’s getting her title shot.
Returning, a quick recap airs of the previous segment, where AJ Lee accepted Paige’s challenge for Extreme Rules, but made it a submission match. A graphic is shown to hype the contest. ALBERTO DEL RIO VS. ZACK RYDER; We are informed that this match stems from the friendship between Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder. Due to Alberto Del Rio’s recent attacks on Ziggler, Ryder took to Twitter to defend his friend which led to this match. Dolph was on commentary throughout and seemed concerned for his buddy. Ryder has the crowd firmly behind him and gets in some early offense. He busts out the Broski Boot to a pop before sizing up Del Rio for the Rough Ryder. Del Rio ducks this however and kicks Ryder in the skull with a big time enziguri. On commentary, the rivalry between Ziggler and Del Rio last year is brought up, where Del Rio utilized vicious kicks to take advantage of a concussion that Dolph had. Del Rio points at Ziggler as he delivers another sick sounding kick and pins Ryder. Alberto Del Rio defeats Zack Ryder!
Alberto Del Rio has his arm raised by the official as Dolph Ziggler slides into the ring to check on his friend. Del Rio rolls outside, walks around and stares at the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy before walking off. Cutting away, Batista is shown getting ready and he heads to out of the Authority’s office, flanked by Kane and Randy Orton. He turns and tells them to stay behind because he can do this alone. Our main event is live, next! WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - DANIEL BRYAN (C) VS. BATISTA; It’s interesting to see both guys alone considering the gang warfare mentality we’ve been seeing heading into Extreme Rules. At the bell, Batista immediately overpowers Daniel Bryan and backs him into the corner. He pounds away on the champion in the corner until the referee breaks it up. Bryan fires back with uppercuts and then goes to the knee with a dropkick. He continues to use his speed and wits to chop Batista down to size. Batista stops his rally with a huge clothesline as we go to commercial. Returning, Batista is still in firm control until Bryan fires up. He lights up Batista with multiple kicks, sending the challenger outside for a breather. Bryan gives him no rest though as he flies out with a suicide dive! He comes in with the missile dropkick and earns a near fall after a roundhouse kick. He goes for the running knee as the crowd chants “Yes” but Batista counters into a big spinebuster for two. He doesn’t let up as he signals for the Batista Bomb. Bryan blocks it with some right hands and manages to get down into position for the Yes Lock! The crowd roars as Batista is in danger of tapping out just like he did at WrestleMania. Suddenly, the Authority is out and Randy Orton stomps on Bryan, causing the DQ. Daniel Bryan defeats Batista via disqualification and is therefore still WWE World Heavyweight Champion!
As Randy Orton, Kane and Triple H put the boots to Daniel Bryan, the music of the Shield hits as the “Hounds of Justice” come in through the crowd to a massive ovation. Bryan is pretty beaten down but once the Shield enter the ring, all hell breaks loose. Their brawl with Evolution spills outside and partially into the crowd. The Authority get the upper hand with the man advantage until Bryan is able to get to his feet. He evens the score and hits a suicide dive onto Kane. Seth Rollins also dives out onto Batista at one point. Raw goes off the air with this brawl not being settled. If this is any indication, War Games is going to be explosive.

WWE Main Event: April 29th, 2014 – Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri
After the weekly opening video, we cut straight to the arena where Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton welcome everyone to the show. They promise a big main event pitting Seth Rollins against Kane as well as a special look at War Games. Before all of that though, we go to the opening contest. DAMIEN SANDOW VS. XAVIER WOODS; Last week on Main Event, Xavier Woods looked to gain some momentum against Titus O’Neil. Instead, he suffered a defeat and looked to rebound tonight. Damien Sandow has been in a rough spot for a few months and needed the win badly too. Sandow comes out of the blocks aggressively, with a flurry of offense that stuns Woods. Xavier rallies with a big swinging neckbreaker and his front flip clothesline. He has the crowd rallying behind him as he goes up top and connects on a missile dropkick. Woods signals for a tornado DDT, but Sandow blocks it by holding onto the top rope. He follows with the elbow of disdain for two. A Russian leg sweep also gets a near fall and it seems to infuriate Sandow. He tosses Woods into the corner and just pounds away on him, nearly getting disqualified in the process. He seems to calm down and pull Woods out for the You’re Welcome to get the 1-2-3. Damien Sandow defeats Xavier Woods!Damien Sandow gets to his feet after the win, as Renee Young steps into to conduct an interview. She asks him about the aggressive attitude he showed during the contest. Damien gives her a look of disgust before responding. “Renee, allow me to teach you something. What you just witnessed was a man who won Money in the Bank last year. The Damien Sandow that you’ve seen since I lost the briefcase was a sham. I wanted to show Xavier Woods and the entire WWE Universe that I am not some doormat. I am not a joke. I am Damien Sandow and soon, I will be back at the top where I belong.” He shoves the microphone away, leaving Renee Young looking a bit stunned at his attitude.
A video package airs which hypes up War Games this Sunday. It intercuts historic War Games clips with highlights of the feud between the Shield, Daniel Bryan and the Authority. Next, Tom Phillips informs us that the Authority has announced a match for this Friday on Smackdown. Shield member Dean Ambrose will go one on one with the Number One Contender for the Intercontinental Title, Sheamus! BRIE BELLA VS. SUMMER RAE; Commentary reminds us that this Sunday on E! a new episode of Total Divas will air, with Brie Bella and Summer Rae being focal points. Nikki Bella accompanied her sister to the ring, while Summer Rae, the pariah of the Total Divas group, was alone. The girls lock up and Brie takes the early advantage. She has the crowd firmly in her corner, though Summer Rae turns things around with a big spin kick. She does some of her signature dancing while Brie lays on the ground in pain. She goes for the Summer Crush but Brie shoves her away into the ropes. She follows with a running knee and shouts “BRIE MODE” before a missile dropkick is able to score the victory. Brie Bella defeats Summer Rae!The Bella Twins celebrate the win together as Brie Bella gets some “Yes!” chants from the WWE Universe. Along with their starring roles on Total Divas, the Bella Twins have been on fire as of late.
The Raw Rebound airs, recapping the events that occurred between John Cena and Bray Wyatt. Two Mondays ago, Cena nearly let his inner monster out as he was disqualified against Erick Rowan. This past Monday, he wouldn’t break the STF on Rowan as Bray Wyatt laughed in his face. It all comes to a head this Sunday in a Last Man Standing match! Cutting away, the Shield is shown backstage. Dean Ambrose speaks first, saying that the Authority thinks they can pull a fast one. “None of the members of their team at Extreme Rules is scheduled to compete on Smackdown but I am. Just two days before I rip each of their faces off, I’m gonna do the same to you Sheamus.” Seth Rollins takes over, discussing tonight’s match. He promotes War Games before focusing on Kane himself. “It doesn’t matter whether you’re the demon Kane or some corporate clown wearing slacks, the same thing that happened at WrestleMania is going to happen again tonight.” Roman Reigns ends the promo with a clear and direct, “Believe that…and believe in the Shield.”
A vignette airs, showing random people accomplishing different feats. The voiceover says tons of motivational things like “right now is a gift, that’s why it’s called the present.” At the end of this, the word BOLIEVE flashes across the screen and Bo Dallas is in the background. 3MB VS. LOS MATADORES; As usual, the fans in the WWE Universe pop for the arrival of El Torito. To combat that, 3MB was accompanied to the ring by Hornswoggle! I guess they’re now 3.5MB! The team for 3MB tonight consisted of Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal. Los Matadores get off to a fast start with some high flying moves that leave McIntyre reeling. They hit a running knee into swinging neckbreaker for a fun double team spot. McIntyre and Mahal take control following a big double team flapjack onto Fernando. They work some heat on him for a bit, cutting the ring in half. Hornswoggle and Torito actually get into it at ringside, with Torito snapping off a flying head scissors to the crowd’s approval. That awakens some fire into Fernando who is able to hit an enziguri and make the tag to Diego. He comes in hot and it leads to them win with El Picador. Los Matadores defeats 3MB!El Torito joins Los Matadores in celebration in the ring. Byron Saxton makes sure to let the viewers at home know that after the Ladder match this Sunday, the tag team division is wide open, so this is a big win for Los Matadores as they hope to earn a future title shot.
We see the Make-A-Wish video that we got on Raw. John Cena granted wishes for three children at once. This video was interrupted by the Wyatt Family last night unfortunately. Tonight, it aired in its entirety. KANE VS. SETH ROLLINS; Our main event here on Main Event, saw two competitors in this Sunday’s War Games go at it with none of the other six participants around. That gives this a fresh feeling as there is nobody around to interfere. Like Seth Rollins pointed out earlier tonight, this was a Kane in slacks and not the “demon” that we’ve all come to know. He still comes out with a bit of a mean streak, obviously hearing those words from Seth earlier. He clubs away at him and hits snake eyes for two in the early goings. Seth uses his speed to gain the advantage, as he avoids some attack and nails a springboard knee strike. Seth also connects on a superkick for a close near fall. He goes for the Blackout but Kane dodges and grabs him by the throat for the Chokeslam. As he’s lifted, Seth comes up with a kick that breaks the hold. A dropkick to the knee cuts Kane down to size, allowing Seth to bounce off the ropes and connect with Blackout. Seth Rollins defeats Kane!As Seth Rollins celebrates his win, his Shield brethren, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, come down to join him. They surround Kane as the crowd cheers while he slowly gets to his feet. When he does, they plant him with the triple powerbomb! The Shield do their signature post over the fallen Director of Operations to close the broadcast.

WWE NXT: May 1st, 2014 – Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
Tonight’s episode opens with a short video package highlighting the contract signing last week between Adrian Neville and Brodus Clay. The “Man That Gravity Forgot” will step into a NXT’s first ever Steel Cage match against the “Main Event Player” on May 29th. Speaking of the devil, Brodus Clay makes his way out to the ring to a chorus of boos from the always amped crowd at Full Sail University. He gets in the ring and snatches a microphone from ringside. He says that last week, he let Adrian Neville off the hook easily. “I could have snapped that little Hobbit in half at the end of the contract signing but I decided against it. If he can’t make it to TakeOver, then I can’t take over as NXT Champion. I’m the main event player but you idiots won’t believe me until I wear the NXT Title. Tonight, I’m going to show you what happens when you face me. I’m going to demolish my opponent tonight just like I will Adrian Neville at TakeOver.” BRODUS CLAY VS. MOJO RAWLEY; No Superstar in NXT, or the entire WWE for that matter, is more hype than Mojo Rawley. However, as soon as the bell rings, Brodus Clay stops him in his hype track with a massive shoulder block. Mojo is not some little guy though and he comes back with one of his own. Clay doesn’t appreciate this and begins to club away on Mojo. He hits some vicious looking suplexes, but Mojo is able to send him into the corner and nail a splash. He poses to the crowd and connects on Hyper Drive, but Brodus kicks out. Mojo is stunned because nobody has kicked out of that before. He tries again, but Brodus moves out of the way. He takes out Mojo with a body block and a second rope splash is enough to put him away. Brodus Clay defeats Mojo Rawley!Brodus Clay demands the official raise his hand in victory. Adrian Neville is shown watching on a monitor backstage and he has to be at least a bit intimidated.
Backstage, Devin Taylor is standing by with the former NXT Champion, Bo Dallas. She asks about last week, when Bo said he would address the fans in Full Sail. Bo says that he has chosen not to go out and speak to them. “When I was NXT Champion, my fans were 100% behind me. They all Bolieved. But ever since I lost the belt, they seem to have changed and want me to leave. I don’t want to go out there tonight. Instead…” we don’t hear what’s next as the Exotic Express appears and are jumping and dancing around. Bo looks rather mesmerized by this and does his usual smile as he tries to laugh this off. Adam Rose enters the picture and tells Bo Dallas to stop being a lemon because life would be better if he were a rosebud. Before Bo can respond, Rose and the Exotic Express dance away. Bo smiles at Devin after they leave and speaks. “I’m not a lemon Devin. I am a rosebud. I’ll prove it to him. You know what? Even if there are some fans that aren’t happy to see me, I know there are far more Bolievers out there.” Bayley appears on screen backstage. She talks into the camera, saying “Last week, Triple H announced NXT TakeOver taking place on March 29th. Last time there was a special on the WWE Network, Paige and Emma set a new standard for women’s wrestling.” She says that she wants the next shot at living her dream. We cut to Charlotte who says that it isn’t her dream to be a champion, it’s her birthright. “I am genetically superior to all of these girls” is a line that causes a strange look from her BFF, Sasha Banks. BAYLEY VS. CHARLOTTE; Last week, Bayley teamed with NXT Women’s Champion Paige in a losing effort against the Beautiful Fierce Females. In that bout, Charlotte rolled up Bayley to win. Tonight, Bayley charges early and overwhelms Charlotte with her early flurry. She hits some back elbows and a nice arm drag, before slipping and sliding on Charlotte’s back, upsetting the daughter of Ric Flair. Charlotte confers outside with Sasha Banks, who still doesn’t seem too pleased after Charlotte’s comments earlier tonight. Once back inside, Charlotte gets in the driver’s seat, and attempts the Figure Four. Bayley pulls her into a small package for two. Bayley tries for the Belly to Bayley, but Charlotte elbows out and Sasha gets on the apron. Charlotte argues with her to get down, allowing Bayley to grab her and hit the Belly to Bayley for the 1-2-3. Bayley defeats Charlotte!
The crowd at Full Sail University comes to their feet as the cheery Bayley does exactly what she said she would. She quickly escapes the ring as Sasha Banks enters and avoids any sort of attack from the BFFs. “Bayley just made a big statement in her quest to earn an NXT Women’s Title match” exclaims Alex Riley.
Catch an all-new episode of Legends House, airing Thursday nights on the WWE Network at 8E/7C! We are now taken to a video package, showing the history between Corey Graves and Sami Zayn. Graves gave Zayn a beating a few weeks back, before they met two weeks ago. That match ended in a double countout and last week, Graves refused to break Lucky 13 against Tyson Kidd, leading to Zayn arriving on the scene to make the save. News has just broken that Sami Zayn will meet Corey Graves to settle their score at NXT TakeOver in a Falls Count Anywhere match! CJ PARKER VS. SAMI ZAYN; NXT’s resident “Moonchild” looks to pick up a major upset against Sami Zayn here. The crowd, as usual, explodes at the arrival of Zayn. CJ Parker strikes before the bell and chops Sami in the corner. A loud palm strike earns him a near fall before he goes for a suplex. Sami blocks it and hits one of his own. He goes up top but Parker hits the ropes and crotches him. He takes Sami down with a Samoan drop for two again. Parker begins to get frustrated as he sets up for another palm strike. This time, Sami is ready and dodges it before hitting the Blue Thunder Bomb. Sami yells at the top of his lungs, showing a more aggressive side than we’re used to. He seems to snap as he hits an exploder into the corner and the Helluva kick once Parker gets to his feet. Sami finishes the flurry with the Koji Clutch and Parker is forced to submit. Sami Zayn defeats CJ Parker!
The fans cheer as Sami Zayn has his hand raised in victory. It seems like Corey Graves and his actions have brought out a more aggressive version of Sami Zayn.
Devin Taylor is once again backstage, this time standing by with Tyson Kidd. She asks for his thoughts on his main event match tonight against Tyler Breeze. Tyson responds by saying that things haven’t been going well for him on the main roster. “I returned from my injury and could barely get time on Raw or Smackdown, so I find myself here. I will get the TV time that I deserve and I will turn my career around. I’m the last graduate of the Hart Dungeon and I’m better than what you all have seen lately.” ENZO AMORE VS. VIKTOR; The dominant NXT Tag Team Champions have a target on their backs and Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady have aimed right at that. Enzo smack talks Viktor at the bell, leading him to get slapped. Enzo charges but runs into a back body drop. Viktor goes for another attack, but Enzo slips behind him and school boys him with a handful of tights to steal this one. Enzo Amore defeats Viktor!
Enzo Amore quickly exits the ring with Big Cass as the NXT Universe cheers loudly. Konnor and Viktor are livid as Queen’s finest back up the ramp. Regardless of how it happened, a pinfall over one half of the Tag Team Champions has to put them in line for a future shot.
More from Devin Taylor as she is backstage with the NXT Champion Adrian Neville. She wants his thoughts on Brodus Clay’s dominating performance earlier tonight. Neville states that it was impressive, but before he can finish, Brodus nails him from behind. He throws Neville around as Devin escapes. When the assault is over, Neville is shown lying on the floor and two of his teeth are on the ground next to him. ADAM ROSE VS. AIDEN ENGLISH; The “Artiste” of NXT, Aiden English found himself going up against Adam Rose and the Exotic Express. Rose attempts to get English to sing along to his theme music, but Aiden is appalled at the thought of that. Instead, he clubs away on Rose to boos from the fans. English sends Rose off the ropes and hits a swinging neckbreaker, earning a near fall. Rose uses Aiden’s momentum to send him over and out, where he is taken aback by the strange Exotic Express. When he gets back inside, he charges Rose, but is met with a big spinebuster. From that impactful move, Rose prances around the ring and follows with some clotheslines. Rose calls for the Party Foul but English shoves him off into the corner. He runs in, but Rose dodges and hits the Party Foul anyway for the victory. Adam Rose defeats Aiden English!
Adam Rose celebrates with the Exotic Express and gets on the apron, preparing to leap backward into their welcoming arms. Instead, a rosebud dressed like a Ninja Turtle grabs his leg and pulls him down jaw first onto the apron. The turtle removes his mask and reveals himself to be Bo Dallas. Bo lifts Rose and nails the Bo-Dog into the ring post! The crowd chants “Bo leave” as Bo looks at them and smiles. TYLER BREEZE VS. TYSON KIDD; Since returning to NXT and looking to right his career, Tyson Kidd has continued to struggle. Two weeks ago he lost a shot to become the Number One Contender and last week, he was locked in the Lucky 13 for a long time. He shows some effects of that submission early on by limping a bit. Tyler Breeze goes right for it like a shark smelling blood. For the first few minutes, he works the leg and even goes old school Bret Hart by applying the ring post figure four. It isn’t until after a commercial break that Tyson starts to gather some momentum. He reels some of his signature moves like the springboard elbow drop which only gets him two. Tyson goes for the Sharpshooter but Tyler kicks him off into the corner. He quickly gets to his feet and nails a vicious sounding superkick. He covers but Tyson is able to get his foot on the bottom rope. Breeze begins to argue with the official, allowing Tyson to connect on an enziguri! He climbs up top for the Blockbuster but his weak leg gives out and he crashes to the mat. As he slowly gets to his feet, Tyler nails the Beauty Shot to grab the win. Tyler Breeze defeats Tyson Kidd!
After the match, Tyler Breeze takes a selfie with his phone in which Tyson Kidd could be seen laying on the mat. As he exits up the ramp, the cameras catch a frustrated and disheartened Kidd looking at a loss for words.
