So I finally discovered ROH is on NESN here, and thus, DVR'ing happened. But I have one question. Seriously, when did Todd Sinclair get so fat?! And... how is that even possible?! I mean, Scott Steiner couldn't even find the words to describe him! It's always weird watching pro wrestling on sports networks. And we have had our share over the years. AWA/World Class/USWA/GWF on ESPN, TNA on Fox Sports, regional WWF house shows on NESN, MSG, etc, and now ROH on NESN. It's funny seeing my rasslin' with a scroll full of legitimate sports scores and stories at the bottom of the screen.

Finally got around to seeing the full WOH episode. The 6 woman tag was...interesting. Featuring Allysin Kay while she is TNA KO Champ (was?) like that was odd to me. Veda and Dobson stole the match, IMO. Hania vs. Mandi was damn good but too long. Seemed every move had to be reversed multiple times which dragged it out too long. ODB vs. the Dojo lady was solid for someone having their first live match. I could see her being something special for ROH down the line. Main event was there. Kline looked good, Hendrix was alright.

Kincade is on TV, nice! Briscoe/ACH should be good as well and Addiction/YoungBCB could be fun depending on how it is booked.

Rather underwhelming show this week.
- Jay While did not make a good first impression with me. He wasn't terrible or anything. He was just... Boring. Really, really boring. - As I've mentioned before, I am not a Shane Taylor fan. He's noticeably better than he was in the Pittsburgh indies (he lost a good amount of weight too), but not enough to change my opinion yet. - That said, I'll still take Shane Taylor over the New Japan guys. They need to start building their own roster again. - I know it's early, but Kevin Sullivan isn't working.

General observation: I love Nigel's "harried single dad" character. He's always one step away from completely losing his shit at all times. "Adam Cole! If you and the Jackson boys don't knock it off right this second, I swear to God I am going to turn this promotion right around! I'm serious! I'm going to do it!"

Finally caught up.
- Why they started Jay White off like that I do not understand. He has talent but his first exposure to ROH and they have him barely keeping up with someone else new to the company. Could have let him do a squash, the six man and then the Kamatachi match.
- Lee and Taylor, once again Lee shines. I could see him in WWE before too long.
- Strong and Castle had a good match and I hope that this is a bit of a turning point for him to being treated more serious in ROH. Still keep the fun but have him in legit title contention.
Jul. 23: - Torn on the start. It was good with them talking about giving them the hour and then O'Riley getting jumped. Thought it set the stage well for the main, whatever it was. However, I am not big on the bait and switch when that show it what you end up with. The main event was excellent but when you're greeted with Tough Men Inc. there is little reason to stick around.
- Didn't Cedric and Will have a partnership thanks to Nana? Whatever happened with that? I know Nana partnered with Dijak but that just seemed dropped for no reason.
- Absolutely loved Lethal's demeanor during the main event. Everything was on point and great. Did they ever explain why Taylor wasn't ringside?
- Nigel's announcement was great and I love that an authority figure actually took action in a situation like this that wasn't the stupid "fine you'll wrestle him next week" crap.

Just thought I'd mention, having just watched the latest episode, that despite the fact ROH is far from its best self right now the stuff with Lethal/O'Reilly/Bullet Club was absolutely awesome. The storytelling was absolutely perfect. It's rare I see something and think "I wouldn't change a single thing about that" but that was my exact thoughts about the opening, backstage stuff with Kyle & Bobby, main event and closing attack. It was absolutely brilliant. More of this please.

Lineup for Episode #254 (Airing 7/30 and later):
P-Dog (/w his "Dear God, this shit is embarrassing" crew... I mean, "The Get-Along Gang") vs. Moose (/w Stokely Hathaway) Moose vs. Donovan Dijak (/w Prince Nana) - Moose's final ROH match Jay Lethal and The Briscoes vs. The Bullet Club (Adam Cole and The Young Bucks)
World champ Jay Lethal is pissed about last week, and he's demanding answers. What does Nigel do? Schedule yet another rematch? Ban the Bullet Club from ringside? Send Adam Cole to his room without any dinner and take away his Xbox for 30 days? (I'm guessing it's the last one. I bet he also gets his phone confiscated.) And in other news, Steve Corino and Kevin Sullivan discuss the Fight Without Honor, BJ Whitmer and why Sullivan did what he did. Plus appearances by The Addiction, The Cabinet and Matt Taven.

What the holy hell was up with that Get-Along Gang nonsense? That was pathetic. I love me some Dijak, though.
It's sad to say, but if one looked up "irrelevant" in the dictionary, they'd find a picture of Matt Taven. Dude really hasn't done anything of note in quite a while.
Ignored the main. Too many people I don't care much for.

Matt Taven blew his knee out just before Bennett left ROH, and he's not expected to be cleared to wrestle till October or so, so I'm not sure what he's supposed to do, really.

Eh, Taven was still kinda meh even then. When you look back at the Kingdom, of course Adam Cole was the obvious star. And even Mike Bennett had "let's rag on him for being Mike Bennett" going for him. But Taven is........ *shrugs* .

I guess Im getting ROH on the national NESN on cable and the local sinclair affiliate. I wonder which one airs the new episode first, I'll find out next week. NESN has an airing at 6pm, whereas the sinclair affiliate plays the new episode at 11pm on Sat nights. I did notice NESN has it airing multiple times during the week
