Big Show in the midcard not getting a monster push is where he belongs, and the one thing that age hasn't diminished performance-wise is his mic game. I would be very okay with this.

Didn't see the segment but Crews is that dude. Babyface Big Show is that dude. It should be good stuff.

All of Big Show's advice would consist of "Be 7 feet tall!" So you...can teach that?

Apollo would end up wrestling Big Show. Could he really pick Big Show up? I mean come on, that'd be crazy.

I really like Show in this role. Dude always comes across as a wise, friendly dude who would give great advice. He's like a giant Yoda. Putting him in the role of a mentor to guys like Apollo is right where he needs to be.

I want to like this. I mean I like Big Show and Crews has potential but I just cannot see this ending anyway outside of a surprise WMD after Crews outshines or fails Show.

I'm waiting on the day Apollo says "Me and Big Show are best friends, he would never turn on me!"

Ok, Apollo, you seem like a swell guy. So I'm going to give you a few tips about dealing with Big Show:
1. Do don't ride motorcycles through the desert with him.
2. Do not let him to talk you into "exciting investment opportunities".
3. Ignore all advice about future contracts.

I guess pairing him up with Show is an admission that he isn't anywhere near ready for the main roster. I remember Crews getting criticised for his stilted promos on Breaking Ground and he really hasn't gotten better.

What if it leads to a tag team title reign of Crews and Show (maybe taking the titles off Gallows/Anderson, since I'm thinking that's what's going to happen soon)?

All I know is when he stands next to him, he looks like buffed up Kevin Hart.

Assuming they actually carry on with it, of course. It's an odd f***ing pairing on paper for sure, BUT... I think Big Show is surprisingly good at being a hype man and building someone up. We've seen it over the years whenever he's been at ringside for people or on guest commentary, dude can talk. Sure, it'll probably end up with Big Show in the ring and that's where it falls apart somewhat, but it's an interesting pairing that could really help cover up Crews's main weakness at the moment, and that's his promo game. I think Show would be absolutely fantastic in a veteran mentor role. He'll teach Apollo that devastating punch ![](https://cdn2.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/eHooWcSAOD-9mYn3KXoMB25Ptlg=/600x0/filters:no_upscale()/cdn0.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/3750424/E79DqoT.0.gif)

He needs someone to help Sheamus stop "picking on" him, I guess. Man, what a mishandling of this guy.

I still don't see why Apollo is on RAW when he did next to nothing on NXT If I had to guess, it's probably due to how lost in the shuffle he was at NXT. He's a rare case of someone who actually got less lost on the main roster.

Never trust anything the Big Show does. He turns at the drop of a hat. I don't even know when he turned face. I didn't even know he turned heel before he turned face before he turned heel before turned face before he turned heel before he turned face. And that was just since Extreme Rules.

Sheamus will attack Apollo, big show runs down to make the save. Tag match is set, Apollo goes to make the tag and big show pulls a Sid Justice.
