I'm happy for him, I read a report of an American wrestling fan going over to Japan years ago and Necro Butcher was there working a tour for Big Japan. Apparently Necro was wrestling the entire tour with a serious injury and when asked why he was performing injured he was told by Necro that he had kids to feed and couldn't take time off.
That always kind of upset me, I am a big Necro fan and hearing that the only way to feed his family was to wrestle with serious injuries makes you feel bad for the guy. It's good that 5-6 years later he's well off, looking healthy and is apparently rich.

May as well ask now, why is he called Necro Butcher? That always seemed like a really appalling name for a wrestler.

That's the nice thing about being out of shape, you don't look too much worse in retirement.

Can't say that I've ever been a fan or watched a lot of his matches but its always nice to see someone retire when they are both well off and still heathly.
