I really hate the use of the word emasculate here.. How else would you describe what Steph does? Be a heel. |

How else would you describe what Steph does? Be a heel. Heels are meant to build heat so that the fans pay money to see them get their arse kicked and get their comeuppance. Nobody pays to go and watch Stephanie and she never gets her comeuppance. She's a terrible heel. |

Yes, I looked up that same entry before posting. I assume you're referring to entry 2. "to deprive of strength or vigor; weaken." And yet we never talk about all the years of HHH "emasculating" people, of Vince "emasculating" people, etc. etc. |

Plus we do have a pretty over-the-top history around these parts with terms like "dick riding" and whatnot. Not saying it's against the rules, just food for thought for everybody. |

When HHH does it we call it burial.... In fact when anyone else does it it's called burial... To be fair HHH rarely questions someone's manhood like Stephanie does every week. HHH's promo burials are often about the guys wrestling ability, stupid appearance, mic ability, not being elite like he is, etc. Stephanie's are often more vicious, frequently asks people if they are going to cry when they look like they are about too, brings up their family and children and questions their worth as a father, and often attacks them when they can't fight back. At least with a HHH promo burial the guy doesn't look like he's about to cry and often always tries to fight HHH in the end or goes face to face. Hell look at that promo she did to Charlotte two weeks ago. She does the same shtick to her and Charlotte just takes it and doesn't even come up with an insult on her own. Or to Nikki Bella or AJ Lee when they were heel champs. There was no reason for it since they are both heels and Steph is the bigger heel. |

But she talks down to all sexes equally. Basically Triple H often buries you as a wrestler while Stephanie often buries the wrestlers character. Like outside of The Rock, Dusty Rhodes (in a unscripted moment), John Cena, and Rhonda Rousey who else really stepped up against her? Like she's the worst heel because she never ever gets her comeuppance. And when she does it's brushed off a week later like the last appearance of Vickie Guerrero. Like basically she often talks down to people in such a personal way where she attacks and destroys the wrestlers character that it's beyond burial. There's not a lot of words that really describe it than emasculating. Like do you have a better suggestion outside of burial? |
