In regard to a number of rumors about WWE star Paige after photos of her in handcuffs were posted onto social media yesterday, here is what we know after speaking to representatives of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

As we reported this morning in the Elite section of PWInsider.com, officers were responding to an unrelated incident near Caesars Palace late Sunday evening when they were told about a woman who was running through traffic nearby. They responded and detained the female and determined she needed a medical evaluation. The officers called for an ambulance and she was transported to a hospital.

The local police, due to medical privacy laws, would not confirm that it was Paige was transported to a hospital but confirmed the photos making the rounds were from the incident in question.

At no point was anyone arrested and there are no pending charges stemming from the incident. Any reports stating as such are completely, 100% false.

To clarify further, while Alberto Del Rio (who Paige is dating) was seen in the photos, any reports of a domestic incident leading to authorities getting involved is also 100% incorrect (and extremely irresponsible, to boot).

Paige wrestled last night at Raw, losing to WWE Women's champion Charlotte. She is backstage at today's Smackdown taping as well.

WWE was aware of the incident but has not commented on the matter.
