Not really that fond of Banjo but is pretty overdue. Hopefully we get Diddy Kong Racing soon, though I could see them due to Conker opting to wait until the Switch 2 and put up the DS version instead.

I want Chrono Trigger or Illusion of Gaia! Chronotrigger, I imagine Square Enix will want to make the money from that one. Illusion of Gia/Time would be a good call and Secret of evermore. But just put SNES Shadownrun on there, for f***s sake. |

It wouldn't surprise me if SE's doing a major remake/remaster for Chrono Trigger, especially given its 30th anniversary next year. It's the most notable pre 2009 Square Enix RPG not on Switch, and I suspect that's because they have some sort of plan for it.

I really just want a Chrono Trigger port over a remake. Like, if they did a remake I’d settle for it, but I’ve kind of reached the point of just genuinely f***ing hating the HD-2D aesthetic. I don’t like the look and it feels like there are like 80 of the things, plus the name itself is stupid.

Only just gotten around to trying out Mario Party and would love to know who on earth decided that a long, unskippable trailer for the game you already bought was a thing you should have to sit through. Literally everything in this opening video was already in the previews.

I really cannot even fathom buying an alarm clock at all in a world where cellphones exist, much less one that costs more than a cheap phone would. I leave my cell phone in my kitchen when I go to sleep, but do rely on an Alexa alarm clock to wake me up or the rare occasion I sleep past 5am EDIT: The Alexa blasts “Good Morning” by the Beatles and slowly turns on my overhead light when the alarm hits I mean... this is clearly aimed at Children. |

I beat Echoes of Wisdom today and I thought it was a great game in general, but I had a real problem with the boss fight. {Spoiler} I really felt like Zelda lost all her agency for the final battle where all your weapons were given back to Link and all you can do is summon echoes and try not to take damage. I thought it was a poor ending to the rest of the game. |

I’d be down with them just kinda shining it up a bit, and not f***ing up the text font, and follow the Pixel Remaster plan. I’m no where near as attached to FF I-VI as I am CT, Chrono Trigger is probably my favourite game ever, but I played through all the Final Fantasy PR games earlier this year and they were incredibly enjoyable |

The Sonic Generations port is reviewing very well and you know what that means, grifter idiots had to find something - in this case that they adjusted Rouge's outfit slightly and took out Sonic pushing Amy in one scene - to exploit for, "Grrrr, everything is so woke!" points. The original Switch reveal trailer came out on October 20th. It is now October 23rd and the Switch 2 is still a meme, so I’m imagining now we’re not getting anything until Game Awards because a new Switch reveal would hurt holiday season sales.
